They will go to great lengths to ensure you get exactly what you are looking for and at the best price possible. My salesman, Jason, and the manager, Daniel, have been excellent to work with. I have ordered / purchased three new vehicles from them and continue to recommend that my family and friends do the same. Mayur Reddyreddy answered my call one day after having a bad experience with another salesman at a different location and was an absolute pleasure to work with. He immediately ordered my 2022 F-350 for me and stayed in touch with me throughout the process while we were waiting for it to get scheduled to build. He stayed on top of which options needed to be modified or removed to keep it from moving down the line due to production scheduling and stayed in touch with updates. In all my years, he was the most professional and easiest person to work with that I have ever encountered when looking for a vehicle. I cannot recommend him enough!

Terrible experience at this dealership. Tried to give me 3/4 of what my trade was worth and tried to add $5K to sticker price for what they called market level pricing. Needless to say we could not reach a fair agreement so we bought vehicle elsewhere.

He was super knowledgeable on all aspects of my 2021 Expedition and took time to show me how everything worked, such as how to fold seats down properly and even how to use the Ford Pass phone app and how the rewards program worked. This was probably the best car buying experience I have aver had. Bradley made the experience simple and helped me out with a loaner car for a day when we couldn’t get the deal processed before I had to work. They got me a lower rate than my preapproval. Came here after a bad experience at Beyerly Ford. Paid $50 more for the same type of car with less features because the people at Collins Ford worked to take care of me and understand service. Im absolutely impressed with the service I received from James Collins Ford. Once I found the vehicle I wanted, Jason (sales associate) was consistently available for questions and test drives.Once I decided I wanted the vehicle; there was one small mechanical issue I noticed. Daniel (general manager) immediately took ownership of my concern, directly contacted Jeff (service manager) and had my vehicle ready for me the following morning.I even had an issue with my personal financing. Chris (finance manager) was able to put together financing which beat what I was able to get from my credit union.It is now a week later; and I am the proud owner of a gorgeous, gently used, tuxedo black F150. Came across this dealership by accident, went down there to talk to Jason Clark about a charger they had. Best decision I’ve ever made, he’s a great man and made me feel every bit welcomed on and off the lot. I give Jason a 10/10 as a car salesman and will be doing more business with him down the road. I looked at mediocre, overpriced used cars at a few other places before Josh called me about a Lincoln MKZ they had just acquired per trade in. The car sold itself--competitively priced, like new inside and out, new tires--but Joshs low key, no pressure approach sealed it. This is one of the few dealerships that still values traditional face to face customer service and what best fits customer needs.

Saw an explorer that they had and decided I was ready for a different vehicle, talked to Madob on the phone for a few minutes and gave him a little information. Went in the next morning and test drove the explorer, it was a nice ride but not exactly what I wanted. Madob is an excellent listener, he put me in a KIA sorento which is awesome! Better price, more car for the money, I couldnt be happier. Daniel got me through the paperwork no muss no fuss and they had me on my way in a short amount of time. Thanks guys, I appreciate you giving me rock star service!Sales done, guess the honeymoon is over, that didnt take long! The sale was great, what followed the sale was total BS. I just drop 26k for a nice vehicle (very happy with my purchase) a few days later I go in and ask them to do a simple vehicle inspection for Lyft. Guy at the service counter is obviously put out by the request (I mean they just inspected the car before selling it to me a few days ago, could have whipped out that paperwork and had me on my way but NOPE) so Im waiting for like 10 minutes while he talks to the Manager (lady in her office) and after the wait he comes out and tells me its gonna cost $99, seriously? Big O will do this exact inspection for $30 Needless to say I wont be taking either of my vehicles back to these guys for service. Had an opportunity to keep a customer happy which would have resulted in plenty of return visits, not now!Madob to the rescue, this guy knows what customer service is all about! I bumped my rating up to a 4 from the previous 3 and the reason is it never should have got to this, do the right thing from the beginning and you would have had a 5 star rating and a very loyal customer. Its a team sport, you work together so the customer feels valued, that in turn makes people feel good about spending their money at your place.Sales is still worthy of a 5 star rating, the jury is still out on service, Ill let you know!

We had a great, almost-perfect experience. Were two hours from Louisville so did everything up to the sale by text. Decided wed take a chance and make the drive over and worked with Bradley for the sale. He was nice, knowledgeable and polite. Love my Lincoln MKC! Everything promised was honored and we felt we got a great deal. Working with Daniel on the paperwork was a breeze. He also was courteous and knowledgeable. The only ding we can give is that Bradley promised wed be in an out in an hour but we were there for more like 3. We really didnt believe wed be there for just an hour honestly, but we werent thrilled to wait as long as we did. Bradley at James Collins Downtown Ford Louisville is the BEST! He was so patient and kind with our senior citizen family member! He explained everything in terms she could understand, and did a great job with the test drive...telling her all about the technology on the car. The dealership stood behind the vehicle when it was delivered with a defect that had gone undisclosed when it was purchased. The body shop folks were super kind, the car they gave us while the work was being done was great...over all it is very refreshing to find good, old-fashioned, great service and value!

I’ve been working at James Collins As a salesman for about 9 months now. I’ve seen a lot of cars come and go, and I’ve been wanting to go ahead and trade in my 2015 equinox and get into something better. Well today that happened, I got a 2016 civic with only 40k miles. Although my credit, equity and down payment helped, I have never seen another general/finance manager do as much as Daniel to ensure customer satisfaction. He took care of every fault on the Civic. Be very carful with the service department. They will try and charge you $100 to diagnose one issue. They charge per issue! They do not tell you upfront. In my case they said they didnt know what the cost of repair was till they started the work. They wanted $100 for that!. Im not against being charged. But they should let the customer know up front.Youve been warned.

Jason Clark was incredibly helpful, patient, and did not pressure her at all. She bought her car from him and I was impressed that his excellent customer service continued even after the sale. SERVICE REVIEW:Came in for routine maintenance on my F150. Easy to make appointment online with confirmation. Was able to pull right into the service area and walk to the counter. I was immediately taken care of and advised of length of service, which they held to. They offered a realistic shuttle expectation (early appointment and she was on a run, so short wait if I wanted). Service was done promptly. Manager was kind and helpful. Paying the tab was easy. All in all - a great experience. Ill use them again.

I had problems with the radio in my 2018 F150. I was able to get in the next day. The part wasn’t in and should take about x2 weeks to come in. About 3 weeks later I get tired of waiting and call Downtown Ford(8AM).I Initially get blown off by Dana, so I call back and get Dana again. She dumps me into a voice mail.After awhile I call back and end up speaking to the voicemail owner Jeff. He tells me that when he finds out he’ll call me back(9:45 AM). So I’m tired of the situation and head to the dealership after work (1:30 PM).I end up finding out that the part I needed has been at the dealership for some time. Now I’m mad- my near $50K truck with 13k has a broken radio- this issue could have been resolved some time ago- lastly they want me to come back in the morning and drop off my truckI asked them since I was around the corner to send two people to pick my truck up the next day. The service agent asked me to leave my truck with them now. I was furious and explained that I don’t live downtown and I needed to pick up my daughter. What I didn’t realize till later the agent was trying to help me.He put me in a loaner truck. I got a phone call the next day telling me my truck was ready. I drove home without any trouble and then I noticed I left my garage door opener in the loaner. I called Jeff who I had been dealing with the last two days. He was kind enough to get my garage door opener back.Honestly Downtown Ford apologized for the inconvenience, got me a loaner vehicle and found my door opener. I would use them again. All of us make mistakes but they are more than willing to make things right.

I’m here in the waiting room at the moment. I called them just over an hour ago with a flat tire asking if they could get me out the door today (had to drive up to Michigan tonight). Jeff at service made sure there were tires available in town in case the flat wasn’t reparable and got me in for service with no appointment. The flat is reparable and they’re working on it now - they’ll have nome out the door in the next 30 minutes.Really wonderful customer service and friendly staff. Would recommend coming here! We went to this dealership so we could purchase a new F-250. They had one on the lot that was exactly what we had been searching for. The salesman that my husband had spoken with on the phone passed us on to another salesman who had only been there a few weeks and wasnt properly trained, which was fine. He was polite and patient and working with us. The used car sales manager interjected himself and was a nightmare to deal with. Worst salesman we had ever encountered. He was condescending, rude and disrespectful not only to us but his coworker as well. We then walked out quite frustrated. We were flagged down by the new car sales manager who was finally able to work a deal with us. We did buy the truck but not sure if we will ever go back. And we will definitely have to purchase another new truck in approximately 3 years.

Awesome team, weve bought two cars from them back to back. No pressure, very accommodating. Negotiations were straight up, and they conceded on certain things - making what I think was a fair purchase. Just be straight up in what you want, and they will be straight in back and forth in the process. They didnt have the vehicle we wanted in their inventory, but found one at another dealer out of state. They bought it and brought to their dealership for us. Highly recommend this Ford dealer over others in Louisville area.

Simply the best buying experience, me and my husband have ever had. We moved from North Carolina last year, and needed 2 new autos. We found new friends and a new Ford dealership. We have nothing but praise and total satisfaction. We shopped several other Ford dealerships, and they kept telling us what a good deal we were getting and how big and great they were, but we found the people at James Collins Ford friendly and honest, and they beat those bigger and so called great Ford dealers by over $1700. My husband and I guess those other dealerships with those huge showrooms and acres of land, just have bigger expenses and bigger overhead, thats why they have to charge $1700 more.

I would give more than 5 stars if that was an option. Best vehicle purchasing experience ever! Daniel Mekuria (GM) and Bradley Wallace (Sales Rep) are legit and took great care of me. They were patient and made sure I had the perfect truck. They never once tried to pressure me or push me in a certain direction - only focused on making me happy. In fact, I got a fantastic deal and really didnt do very much negotiating. I highly recommend this dealership and will absolutely go back when Im ready for my next vehicle. If you dont go visit this dealership, you will likely pay more than you have to. Thanks Daniel and Bradley for making it a pleasure.UPDATE:So, its been 7-8 months and my sales person (Bradley) knows I moved to another state after buying the truck. Knowing that he was not getting any business from me, he called me today just to check on me. He asked how Im enjoying the truck, how my family is and if I need anything - we spoke for about 10 mins. This is the kind of company I would go back to time and again. In fact, if Bradley is still there when Im ready for a new truck, I will seriously consider traveling the 15 hrs to buy it from him. Jeff Fry and Jim Jones were very helpful. Our F-150 was set on my key and our vehicle would not go over 80 miles per hour. We were half way to Kansas and it was pouring rain. I called the dealership and they took the time to walk us by phonethrough resetting the set up. I feel they went up and above the great service you get at James Collins Ford.

Scheduled a appointment a week before, got to the dealer on the appointment date. the service desk said it was going to take 2 hours. asked for a loaner and didnt have one. had a week notice of appointment and couldnt get me a loner. some people dont have 2 hours to sit and wait for vehicle. worst coustumer service. wont be going back for service
