Words cannot describe how truly appreciative I am of the team at ImportDoktor!!! Bringing my vehicle here 3 years ago was one of the best decisions I have ever made. While from time to time appointments may be scheduled two weeks out, I have always driven my car away after service with complete peace of mind. Not only are the prices extremely reasonable, especially when compared to the service centers at local dealerships, but the team takes the time to fully diagnosis the problem and communicates options to fix it. On a few occasions I have had to have my car towed in and by EOD my car was fixed and ready for pickup. If you are on the fence about coming here, dont be - I promise you wont regret it!!!

I highly recommend the ImportDoktor! Unfortunately, I was involved in a rear end collision and had to take my car to be repaired. My car ended up being a total loss but my experience with David was amazing! He walked me through the entire process from start to finish. He made sure I was in a rental while he evaluated my car. He even stepped in to help me with the claims adjuster. He actually cared about my situation in spite of him not getting the repair job. He has taken the time to talk to me about new cars that I want to purchase and offered to inspect them for me. It is just nice to find an honest, reliable and caring shop. Hands Down, I feel that I got amazing service from start to finish! I definitely recommend these guys! Im not sure I can say enough good things about this place. If you have an import, this is the place to take it. I called about an issue Id been having with my BMW 328i. The story is way to long and complicated, however, when I began explaining what was going on the Shop Mgr actually finished what I was saying. Exactly. He knew what had happened, how and why. This is the moment I unclenched. Phew! Just finally talking to someone who knew what was going on was such a relief. I was told how booked they were, and explained I was starting a new job. Mark then offered for me to bring it in and theyd work it in. THEY DID! Longer story short, once they got into the project, they found two more issues. I am so happy I bought the warranty when do purchased the car. David G, the owner took care of it all for me. Amazing! I picked up my car today, its running like knew, even better than when I first got it. I cannot be any more pleased. If you have an import, this is it! I cant speak highly enough of these guys and girls. My truck is nearing 13-years old so its been in and out of their shop several times over the past few years. ImportDoktor has helped with everything from electrical to brakes, A/C, serpentine belt replacement and even paint and body work. Pricing is more than fair, the staff are terrific and the fact that they can help with everything from electrical, mechanical, transmission to paint and body really sets them apart from the competition. David George and crew are great. I wish they were better with communication but seeing his busy they are, I can understand why communication isnt GREAT. Unfortunately they have lost most of the guys that worked on vintage VWs. David and one other guy Mark are the only ones so if you have older VWs dont expect it back right away. Unless its something minor.After driving it for a week after I finally got it back, I found a relay just flopping around in my frunk not grounded. and, my radio no longer works. And, it hesitats in 3rd gear.not a happy customer. Im also adding that I had to take my VW to Steve after it had been at the importdoktor for 3 months because apparently whoever put in my new Carb didnt adjust it or open any valves... They JUST put it in. Steve also fixed the issue with my radio. So in addition to paying the importdoktor over 1000.00 I had to pay someone else to complete their job and fix whatever they did or didnt do. NEVER AGAIN.

I was able to drop off my car and keys the night before. I got a quote early enough in the day that they had all of the work done and I was able to pick up with time to spare. All the issues I had were resolved, even an unexpected dead key battery. I shall return for future services.

David is amazing and so is his staff. He gave us great service on our audi then was willing to take our call regarding an unrelated issue it had after business hours. He talked me through a simple fix to our check engine light and was a huge help! Way above and beyond service!

I can’t say enough great things about Volksdoktor. I went elsewhere for an oil change where I was told my car needed a $1,700 vacuum pump replaced immediately. I decided to get a second opinion at Volksdoktor, where it was found this did not need to be done at this time and would be significantly cheaper when the time came for it be repaired. They were honest, upfront, and kind. I had a wonderful experience and will only be coming back here in the future.

David George is one in a million. My beloved Jeep was stolen and then totaled (2020, ammiright?!). It was a heartbreaking situation. Due to a clerical error with my insurance company (Progressive💩🤮), I wasn’t covered. DG went wayyyy above and beyond to make sure I was squared away and did what was best for me, my family, and my business. I truly believe he treated me he would treat a daughter! He fought for me, advised me, and did everything he could to ensure that I was doing all the right things; he even called the dealer who bought it to make sure the deal was legit! If there is ANY one (outside of my family) in this world I would blindly trust with... well... anything... it’s him! His staff was honest, patient, hard-working, and are all around great people.

Impeccable in every way. Would recommend to everyone.-My Honda died unexpectedly Saturday morning and would not start. I had it towed to the ImportDokter and used the early bird key drop. I received a call Tuesday morning from David informing me the engine block was cracked - I was devastated. The car was without a doubt totaled. Then, David gave me news that his tech had found a warranty for the engine my Civic had in it. That alone was above and beyond the inspection I requested. That warranty equated to a FREE brand new engine and labor from Honda. David called the local Honda dealer and set me up with a service ticket and an appointment. He took care of everything.-These guys are the real deal. You can trust them and I will definitely be a customer for life.

Took my daughter s auto there she called them they were going to put a used fuel pump on she told not to they charged 625.00 to put on was only supposed to be 500.00 they labor book only calls for 2,to 3 hours labor the pumps only 50 to 100 Rallies I use to do them and it would take me an hour there easy to do its a shame auto businesses hurt peoples income I mean they made 300.00 per hour 2 hours work tops Im so tired of the way these shops screw people what a shame

Amazing experience all around. I chose to take my car here due to the reviews I saw here on Google and was not disappointed. It took them roughly four days to get around to my car for the inspection, which I was expecting from the reviews as well. But after the car being diagnosed, it only took them three hours to get it up and ready to be picked up. They were professional about explaining what was wrong with the car, and helping me make the proper choices on what to repair/what can wait. I will definitely bring my car here again in the future as well as recommending it to anyone as well.

I am extremely unhappy with this shops lack of concern over billing me twice for something that has never been fixed proper. They showed no concern or care verbally or visually, to fix it or make it right. They used to be my number 1 choice now I will never go back.

If I could give 10 stars I would! I had an oil leak with my VW Tiguan and they quoted me at a great price and got someone to come in on their OFF DAY to help me with my car that next day. The owner took time to explain to me what they fixed and really helped me to understand what to look for moving forward with my car if anything were to happen in the future! These guys set the bar high when it comes to customer service. I interacted with five different employees during my visit to buy parts and ask for a little advice and each person was helpful and professional. The owner David made himself accessible too. Six stars if I could.

I recently got a 2015 vw passat tsi. The engine has always made a soft ticking noise in idle, and it was always concerned me (Ive never had a turbo before). A buddy at work told me about how great this place is. I decided to call and set up a appointment. The gentleman that answered asked what I needed, I told him I wanted my engine checked because of the noise. He pretty much told me the noise was nothing to worry about. I was pleasantly surprised because most shops probably would have me come in and pay a fee to have it looked over, he was just honest and straightforward. I cant explain how much I appreciated that. I havent been here yet, but I definitely plan on going in the future! :)

Car alarms go off for hours in the middle of the night waking up the neighbors. Nobody is on staff or comes around to check on the place so we have to listen to it incessantly. Wish they’d show a little more respect. It’s happened 3 times now.

I was from out of town heading to Charlotte N.C. Found them on NAPA auto care site. I need a headlight bulb put in that requires removal of front bumper. Jaguar dealer quoted $1150 to put a bulb in 3 days. These guys squeezed me in, wife and I found lunch, and shopping, came back in 3 hours it was done for 25% of what dealer wanted. They did a great job!

I had another shop say that the brakes on my Audi needed replacement, when I took it to Volksdoktor, they said that there was 40% life left and they did not need replacement yet. Against my usual mechanics sage advice, I bought an ancient Volkswagen. Shes been pretty good to me over the last couple years, but being almost 30 years old, and with close to 200k on the clock, she has her problems.Every single time Ive taken her to Import Doktor, theyve diagnosed the problem accurately and quickly, and have been able to fix it for less than I could have ever hoped for, and with a real quickness. Wheel bearings and stub axles, fuel pressure regulator, brake master cylinder and vacuum booster, full rebuild of the shifter, among other small fixes, and sources for parts on the stuff I could do myself. Theyve always come through.I wont take Fiona the Fox to anyone else if I can at all avoid it. And I will recommend Import Doktor to everyone who needs work done and asks where to go.
