In 2 visits I have had a lot of work done on my car. Both times I was extremely satisfied. This last time was a doozy with all the problems that I came in with and then all the extra problems found. Steve takes the time to explain thoroughly the problems found, which I appreciate, and do a thorough check of your issue. He also goes above and beyond to fix any situation and meet the needs of the client fairly. Brian working the front office keeps you informed and communicates throughout the process professionally. Hersch does AMAZING work too and this last issue with my car he worked a miracle, and for that Im so grateful. I would highly recommend this business. As a female I KNOW Ive gotten screwed over from other shops and mechanics but I have found this shop to be honest, have outstanding service, and I am now glad Ive found a repair shop I trust.

Car was returned more broken than the initial fix. Golde Automotive denied culpability.Edit: The initial repair was not completed and Golde Automotive continued to deny responsibility to complete the initial job without additional payments.In summary: I paid Golde $$$ to complete a job that was never completed by them and they denied culpability for additional damages to engine while my car was in their care. Moreover, they demonstrated zero integrity by accusing me of causing the damages after I picked up my vehicle.Please save your money and learn from my mistakes. I cannot emphasize this enough. There are plenty of mechanics to choose from in Louisville that are trustworthy.Golde changed ownership in recent years. If you had proper service in the past, it was under the original owner.

Love Golde Automotive! I chose this repair shop solely based on the outstanding reviews on Google, and wasn’t disappointed. I hit a deer right before Christmas which caused a lot of damage to my passenger side. They worked with my insurance company to complete all repairs and my car looks incredible now. They were very responsive and kept me informed on what was going on when I checked in for updates. The entire front looks like a brand new car, and the repairs are seamless. My husband and I will definitely be using them for any future car repair needs!

Golde Automotive is excellent! I was quoted by a local repair shop, that I needed $1300 to fix my AC. Golde Auto was honest with me, and I only needed a relay switch. The entire repair, cost me less than $150.They will not up-sell you, to make you think you need repairs, that aren’t necessary! They are very knowledgeable, on all makes, and models! The thing I like the best about them, is their character! They are HONEST! I’ve learned that second estimates are no longer necessary! This will be the shop that services all of my vehicles! I was in need of a serpentine belt. Im new in town and had absolutely no idea where to go to get service. After googling and calling around to different shops, I took a chance with Golde Automotive, and I am so happy I did. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They were able to service my car the same day I called and the cost was affordable.I was fortunate enough to find a great shop on the first try. I would definitely recommend going to Golde Automotive.

I have been to Golde Automotive multiple times now, and they are by far the best auto repair place I have been to! Steve Milliner, the owner, is very accommodating, trustworthy, and reliable and his team gets the job done right! If there ever is an issue with anything, Steve will bend over backwards to make sure the issue is resolved and you are taken care of. Very very bad experience. Tried to charge 350.00 for a part that i found at auto zone for 125.00. Ended up not being the problem. Long story short, payed 825.00 for a 100 dollar fuel pump.

I really hate to say how great this place is, because then they will get all super busy. But, I have to. This place is great. Ive been to Golde twice now with my older Ford Focus and the level of service has been amazing. Each time I have needed a part replaced on my car they have saved the part to show me exactly what was wrong with it. This level of transparency and honesty feels very rare in a mechanic shop. I had changed my own spark plugs on my Ford Five Hundred and you need to take off the intake manifold and do some heavy work to change the plugs. I did this at home and when I put it all back together my car was running terribly. I tried for days to fix it but just could not figure it out. So I heard about Golde Automotive from my wife Kristen who works with a lady who is the sister of Hirsch who works at Golde. I called Hirsch and explained to him the situation and I had my car towed to Hirsch at Golde. I asked him if he could just tell me what I did wrong and I would fix it myself and he was fine with that. He told me I needed a new intake manifold cause I most likely warped mine and he told me where I could find one cheap, at Pull A Part. So I get another intake manifold and installed it on my car and started it up and it ran better but still had an issue. So Hirsch told me he would take it into his garage in the morning and hook it up to the big scanner to see the issue. The next day he calls me and said he found a small gasket that fell off when I originally took off my intake manifold that went onto the egr valve and since I did not see it I hadnt installed it and it caused a vacuum leak. He left the gasket on the battery and I came by his shop and installed it and the car ran great. The crazy thing is Hirsch didnt charge me anything for this and was just happy to help! He is a great and honest guy and that is so hard to find in the auto industry. Any and everyone I know I am recommending they take their car to Golde Automotive! Such a great guy and he saved me so much money and that just shows his integrity and he is that rare breed you want to fix your car when something happens! Thanks again Hirsch and your my go to guy for anything with my car in the future!

December 29,2015-Just had a great experience at Golde Automotive. I have a 2002 Ranger pick up that had a slight squeak that sounded like a fan belt. In fact I had paid both Nuetz and Tudor, and Bill Collins Ford to fix this same squeak. Both advised and supposedly fixed a faulty idler arm. But Goldes found the real problem and repaired. the prices are very fair and the attention to personal service is excellent. I have finally found a trustworthy auto service shop.
