Slowly checking out stores and small shops since I am new to area. I went in with high hope but was disappointed. The cleanliness and just vibe I got was not good.Went to check out fresh produce lots of it looked old. Went to meat area and lets just say that is very questionable.Chicken and other meats covered with ice. Glass had major crack going through it. And just did not feel safe buying any of it specially chicken.Checked it out but definitely not going back.

Come here for there food center. Nice to see the upgrades on menu and food ares a lil tight but worth it. Always love there menudo happy that hasnt changed and now there shrimp burritos

So many items its amazing, theres fresh food to purchase and eat as well as items that are for every day cooking at home, also home goods as well. Great store amazing staff.

I was looking for some fast, hot food that wasnt from a drive-thru and I was pleasantly surprised by the deli counter in this market. They offer a full menu of burritos, tacos, quesadillas, tortas, and more which could match any taqueria in town. I ordered a carnitas burrito and two tacos al pastor ($1 taco Tuesdays!) then picked up a half pound of chiccarones carnudos. The food was ready quickly, masterfully executed, and tasted amazing! Everything was very affordable and the atmosphere was relaxed. There is no question that I will return here again the next time Im in town and hungry for some top quality comida taqueria.

I love their meat and man those mangonadas are so good.

This is the place for Salsa Mexicana and good, cheap spices! The salsa is 1/4 the price of Save Mart and at least as good. The spices are also fraction of the price elsewhere. Ive found the staff to be super friendly and helpful too.Theres a large, well maintained and staffed meat market and fresh production section, but I havent tried those.Note: no liquor.

Always buy our meat and salsas from here, their ice cream is really good too!

Off west Pacheco road in Los banos. Hispanic grocery store with pretty much what youd expect to find. Second choice in Los banos, first being the Santa fe market.

Was treated with indifference when I visited this store. Maybe because Im not their normal customer. Prices were on the high side. Stopped because it was a convenient location. Doubtful Ill return due to the way I felt during my shopping there.

They close at 8pm pretty early compared to other places in the area. They actually start cleaning the deli area around 7:30. I went in the other day for some queso fresco and the lady tells me I cant give you anything here, I’m closed and I gave her this look like ummm no you ain’t! So I told her It’s not even 8 and to get my cheese because they cannot close until 8pm. Not my fault you closed and cleaned 30 minutes earlier. 🙄🙄 I needed that cheese for dinner and just the look on her face when I refused to leave without my cheese! LOL that’s priceless!

I recommend this place for the original menu .The food is authentic and large portions . Nutritious Grandma style cooking you name it they have it and if not ask the ladies and the will make it . Look at our history on the walls know our heritage and enjoy hospitality .

La Esparanza means the hope... this market leaves you hoping there are better options for authentic mexican and latin american specialties. They have the essentials here, but surprisingly, not much else.

Bought one item here and was over charged by a dollar, went back to complain and they said register computer made the over ring but cashier ran the system no sorry, appoligy or any comment to me their patron, Ill never go there again. One dollar lost me as a customer for life
