Negative Customer Service ExperiencesPositive customer service experiences are crucial for the health of an organization. Proper customer service etiquette also helps a business thrive financially and socially because it builds positive rapport with their consumers. If employees respond to a customer in a rude or negative manner, then it misrepresents an organizations goal to create a welcoming environment. The improper etiquette of an employee makes a consumer unhappy which in turn creates losses in revenue for an organization. My negative experience with the employees at the AT&T store in Los Banos California, has led me to believe that there are obstacles in their workplace communication, etiquette and stress management that must be addressed.Firstly, employee communication should be refocused in their employee training. Asking a question about a product should never become misinterpreted and misconstrued. The tone of voice in the communication ended in a rude manner. I do not want the negative customer service experience to happen to anyone else.Secondly, as I started to leave the building, the employee challenged my credibility by asking me if I was an AT&T customer. Regardless whether Im a customer or not, it should not be a personal concern to the employee. The employee should have asked about me when I first walked through the door, not after an altercation. If the questioning continued and I gave the employer my name, they could have easily accessed my personal information which would have been an unsafe situation for me. Sales deadlines must be met and the employee should see me as a current or potential customer.Thirdly, I understand that there are stressful situations that the team members face everyday in their careers personally and professionally. I comprehend that I may have done or said something that triggered these individuals to have their alarms go off. Luckily, there are many ways to manage stress and the situation that happened will bring about a positive outcome for the employees like follow-up training. The retail career is not easy but it should encourage them to hone their skills in managing the multitude of personalities and work that they encounter everyday. Learning new aspects of work-life balance will also help them achieve better levels of workplace happiness. Life is too short to make people feel unhappy or unwelcome and theres time within workplace hours to mitigate stress when theres follow-up training involved.In conclusion, employees sometimes misrepresent what a workplace should portray today. A negative experience does not conclude that an organization is unfair or unprofessional. What needs to be done is to address what needs improvement and then try to find solutions for them. Employees face many hardships with customers daily but with proper training, we can all achieve a consensus in how the customer service experience should be.

I called on Fri, Apr 3 because the one in atwater hung up on me. I asked the same question and the lady gave me the answer without hanging up on me. She was extremely cool and helpful. Atwater at&t take notes!

Good MorningWell my install was very pleasant. The tech was very friendly and polite. He answered all my questions. Very nice gentleman. Well the service is another issue. My TV’s are freezing up when I’m trying to watch anything. Sometimes it even has to reload. At this time I’m. It very impressed with Direct TV. Maybe it will get better with time. I worked with Monserrat Medina and had the best experience I could ever imagine. I always feel that they want to just sell you something or sign you up for a new contract but she was very pleasant and helpful. If I could give 10 stars, I would because it was the best I could ever dream of! Thanks Monserrat, you rock!

I recently went in to get some issues resolved about my services and the rep that helped me was really kind and understood my frustration. The rep went out of her way to call customer service and do all the talking for me to fix this because Ive been trying to do it myself. Great retail location!!

Very bad experience at the store Im disabled 81 years old use a cane and when I first was trying to open the door young gentleman was leaning against the counter watching me struggle with the door he did not offer to come and open it until I almost fell. Had my phone and wallet in my other hand. was told that I had to go to the store because I was charged for DirecTV now which I did not order it took us well over an hour and I wouldnt leave his side he kept saying he could do it and he would call me when it was done and I said no were going to stay here until Im sure that is cancelled and my money refunded apparently AT&T upgraded me to DirecTV now I have no cable companies I did not order it I did not want it and I sure as hell didnt want to pay for it out of my social security check. I had also brought a check to pay for my significant others phone bill and theyve informed me they dont take checks they only take cash or a credit card, I have been with AT&T for many years long before cell phones but it looks like Im going to have to change companies how dare they take money out of my account just because I have my phone bill taken out they had no right to use my my bank account without my permission am I angry you bet your bippy I am

Horrible customer Service. I walked in and all the employees were on there phones. I worked with a gentleman named Jessie and he wasnt very helpful at all. I had a situation and he didnt care much to go out of his way to take care of it. There was at least 4 other employees in there and I know one had to be the manager and none of them stepped in to figure out the situation. I spoke to Merced At&T and told them about it and they told me to come over and they could take care of it No Problem. LAST TIME I EVER GO INTO THIS PLACE!!!

At first it was a mission alot of confusement amwith the reps..BUT I had 1 rep that went out of her way and called the store for me...now thats customer service..I didnt get your name but if you guys can look back to my last caller that called Octavio at the Los Banos Ca store..and the vrew at the store in Los Banos you guys are AWESOME..I seen how you guys handle a tough customer....love it ..thanks guys now Im happy😁

0 stars, Really bad service, been here a few times and tbe employees dont really care about customers and dont do much to try to help customers, dont ever want to take cash just over all rude, seems like they just go in do their hours to get paid and leave. The owner should look into getting new employees.

Monserrat ( Monse Medina) is a rude AT&T employee. Rudely told me that everybody should know that restarting your phone would fix any service issues. After Ive come to the store without any service for 2 FULL DAYS.

No star deserves this place very bad service..the workers think they are very handsome, they discriminate against the customers. silly km what is happening to me !!! at this moment I was entrusted on the 1-18-19 to pay my bill of $ 350 in cash I was attended by a mentioned Monserrat Medina .. now at & t wants to disconnect my service .. this woman for To be talking with his colleagues I credit the $ 350 to another number but km is possible .. if all my information was on the receipt .. call at & t and they said that there was no pending payment available to them on Thursday 1-24-19 and they told me that In 24 hours they will credit me the money is already 1-28-19 and nothing and I realized only because today 1-28-19 a cell for my son and they told me that they cannot because there is a balance !! where is my money !!!!! What a frustration ..
