Ive known Manny for twenty or thirty years, and I count him as one of my best friends. He got my first pawnshop flute playing, when I didnt have much money, and threw in a quick polish in the bargain.Woodwind instrumenrs are quite sophisticated, mechanically, and accoustically, and if not kept properly and maintained, can be a lot of work to keep playing well, and at a certain point, require overhaul, which is costy, and more so on the bigger horns.So Manny will tell it like it is, and is the best Ive run into. He knows how to fix horns correctly. The last thing you want to do with a sax, is have a bad job done, and forever be chasing leaks, and mechanical issues. Thats why so many pros, and students, take their horns to him.-Marco

He treats you like he ha known for a while and he is a totally very cool guy. So, if you are in need of any repairs or purchase of a horn, this is the place to be. What a attuned horn serviceman this guy be, generous, kind, humorous yet still wholeheartedly puts compassion into his work. A very amazing shop with many lustrous brass artifacts upon the wall, he is a handful of the few that share the love of what it takes to make music stay alive.

Manny is very friendly and helpful. After a few months of researching online on various forums, we went into the shop with an idea of the year and type of saxophone we wanted to purchase. Manny was super helpful and was not pushy as far as selling us higher priced items that didnt play as well. He pulled out a selection of instruments that fit our criteria and left us alone to play and test out each one in our own time. After quite some time debating we settled on a piece and he took us into the back room to let us do the final check of all pads and keys with the light. The piece came with its original beautiful case in almost mint condition. Manny gave us his card and told us to feel free to come back in the next 6 months for any issues or questions. Highly recommend this spot to any horn (especially sax player) looking for a new piece in the area. Thanks Manny!

Loved the place! Went there to buy reeds and check for a new mouthpiece. Manny took my horn and made adjustment on the spot. He has a nice collection of saxes on the wall. I will go there again. :-)
