Jeff was absolutely amazing! I went to him with what I KNEW was a low quality instrument - I was almost embarrassed to take it to someone of his caliber - but he was very kind about it. He got it set it up and explained in simple terms some things I would need to know. I really hope the student the instrument is meant for ends up becoming serious because I cannot wait to go back and buy a quality violin from Jeff!

Jeff is as good as it gets, both as a maker (instruments and bows) and restorer. I HIGHLY recommend him. LA is lucky to have a “violin whisperer” of his caliber. He is a rare and extraordinary talent.

Ive been going to Jeff for repairs and rehairs almost a year now, and no one does it better in Los Angeles. Reasonably priced, great service, and even lets you watch him work! A hidden gem in LA.
