Not a muffler shop
My experience with AAA is very unique. I cant really vouch for their quality of muffler/radiator service, only for the ethics of a few of their people.A few years back I was on my way from Vegas to LAX to drop off some friends. My Ford Tauruss lights started dimming and I realized that my alternator was going.I exited the 105 and we literally pushed it off the road into AAA because it was the closes driveway. We arrived after hours but an employee was still around waiting for his ride home. He offered to help us jump it to see if the battery was dead.In the end, he suggested that his co-worker, who used to be a mechanic, could probably fix it the next day and he let us push it into their shop.Given the location, I walked away thinking Id likely never see the car in one piece again. We finally found a taxi service that would pick us up in that location and made our way to LAX.True to his word, the gentlemen called me the next morning with some prices of a used alternator from a local junk yard. He could have price gouged me and I would have paid, but I walked away paying only $90.To this day I wish I knew the guys name and his mechanic buddy. They helped me out of a jam and didnt bend me over when they could have.
Good service good prices ..
