My U Box order moving from Minneapolis to LA has been an absolute mess over the course of 2 months and one thing after another, changes between this location and the downtown location, like 6 receipts, so many issues, etc. When I had an overcharge between different receipts, Britney at this Alameda location was one of the very few competent Uhaul reps I’ve ever dealt with. She was thorough and efficient and worked to help me out and get me a refund for the overcharges. Thanks again, Britney!

Friendly, professional, helpful staff. I called the evening before our pick-up of our UBox and the next morning they were prepared within minutes for our unload. Teamwork evident there and everything went well- In and out within an hour. It is a tight area for unloading but they did provide a space that worked out well.
Don’t ever use Uhaul if you expect customer service to help you at all. Never in my life have I been so frustrated that it’s brought me to tears. I tried, for LITERALLY WEEKS, to call and schedule my Ubox delivery and every single time I either was disconnected because the phone would ring forever and then say “something went wrong, please try again later”, or I’d briefly talk to someone who would say “I can’t help you with that but I’ll transfer you” and THEN the disconnection, or I’d talk to someone who would say they would leave someone a message to call me back and, of course, no call back was received. I did finally get my uboxes delivered thankfully. I am the least ‘Karen’ like person but this experience sure made me feel like one.
