I can’t speak highly enough of my experience here. Highly organized, great customer service, and my expectations were exceeded. Chris (who at the time, I didn’t realize was the owner), has the temperament of an old soul. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and patient. He cares about what he does and it shows. Todd, who works out front, does a great job keeping the place running like a well oiled machine (see what I did there?). And if you want to kill a couple hours there’s plenty of places to grab food and see all things Hollyweird.

Absolutely love this place. I serviced my 2001 bonneville here years ago and I can still remember their passion and love of motorcycles. Will come back when my new bike needs service.

Took my sv650 at this shop and it was worth it. Chris took care of all the flaws of my bike and made my ride feeling like golden. Their service is way beyond my expectation and surely will come back for many years to come. Todd is great at handling business ordeals with such great customer service. Friendly, professional, well equipped and knowledgeable. I booked the time for an appointment and they got to me on time! Id recommend this place, they have fair prices, quick service and its a great vibe too, I love the steampunk look!

I trust Chris with my Ducati and he never lets me down. He always goes above and beyond when I take my bike in and gives honest assessments for repairs. Todd is also great and provides excellent customer service. They also have an extremely efficient text notification system that reminds you of your appointment and also lets you know when your bike is done. Also, I try my best support local and small busnesses, and Chris’ shop is one of the best!

Brought my R6 to Melrose Moto after getting into an accident. Chris was very helpful in getting everything fixed and dialed in. He is very knowledgeable about all bikes but it was nice finding a small shop that worked on sport bikes. Only shop I feel comfortable bringing my bike to.

Im super impressed with Chris. I had lots of bad experiences with other shops as a new rider and Chris was honest and holy cow quick. Was pretty much on budget to what we had discussed and I rode off feeling like Id found a gem for getting my bike worked on. I would go back to Melrose Moto forever lol!! Or until I had or if I had a Harley. Harley shops a bullies. Anyways. Chris is also a nice guy. His secretary/Front desk help is super hot as well ;). Whew!

When the secondhand bike I bought started acting up I took it to Chris and he fixed it up real well, almost too well as I had gotten used to the way the bike slowly accelerated. After he cleaned out all the gunk that had been collecting in the carburetors it sped up much more powerfully, and best of all, it starts up again.I felt Chris business was incredibly honest and I was surprised at how quick the work was done having worked at a mechanics once myself, and was used to seeing cars sit for days before leaving shop. He makes an effort to help you out and troubleshoot over the phone if something is still amiss after hes worked on it.Im looking forward to using Melrose Moto again for any future issues I have

If you are looking for the best motorcycle mechanics in Los angeles. People that care about your bike running. Melrose Moto is the place.I think these guys are great! They really cared about my bike and breathed life back into a Motorcycle that deserved a second chance.I had a tricky thing to fix because the fault was not as apparent as most. Air Holes in pipes from a bike that had not been used would create havoc with my fuel system. It is quite a deceptive fault that requires mechanics to go through the usual culprits before finding the fault.The Melrose Moto team and Chris went through it all.1. Cleaned my carburetors.2. Cleaned Spark Plug Housings.3. Checked and balanced the carburetors.4. Replaced Cables.5. Had a genius way to fix a broken carb (Saving Loads this should be No 1)6. Replaced worn hoses.7. Fixed electrical broken relay.8. Put a bunch of missing bolts on.They really care about bikes and are good value for money. I hope you go if you need Motorcycle repair anywhere in Los Angeles or West Hollywood. Be safe on the road!

Really great spot to fix your bike they really care about your motorcycle, I changed tires there and the guy made the impossible to made my tires fit the rim. The price is really affordable. BEST MOTORCYCLE SHOP ON LA!!

These guys are awesome. Just went to have a valve stem changed on my wheel. They mounted my tire as well and were really friendly and helped me out on very short notice. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic work and great people. Went in with confusing electrical issues and was informed throughout the process what was happening. They found the issue, fixed it up, and had me up and running. I wont be going anywhere else.

The shop is a little difficult to find at first, if youre on Melrose at the shop address, youll have to go to the next street and turn into an alley that runs parallel to Melrose. Youll probably notice a group of bikes out front and thats the shop. Great guys working here. They have a true passion for motorcycles and it shows by the attention to detail and quality when servicing bikes. I found them all to be pretty friendly and honest guys as well, Ill definitely be bringing my bike back here for service in the future.

Was stuck on La Brea months ago with a dead battery and Called MM cause they were nearest. Yitzi rode over, jumped me and had no clue what to charge me. I said I’ll pay with loyalty and I’m here again for front tire installThese guys got my Triumph ready for my Sturgis run this summer, 5000 miles and no worries in my mind.

I got only an oil change, but I will be returning for more involved service and repairs. I am impressed with the attitude, service, and professionalism of everyone at Melrose Moto.Three months later I did return to Melrose Moto for further service of my Kawi GPz 1100 -- new chain, sprockets, clutch and some electrical work. Once again, the professionalism and level of service were unparalleled. My bike has been serviced by dozens of mechanics around the country and beyond. Chris and crew at Melrose Moto are as good as any mechanic who has ever worked on my bike. My clutch was a mess. Chris fixed it completely, quickly and economically. He fixed some electrical issues at minimal cost. I give Chris and everyone at Melrose Moto my highest recommendation.
