We were looking for a night nurse right away because my husband had to leave town for work on a last minute notice... so we called a few night nurse agencies but all were SUPER expensive and asked for extremely high agency fees. Plus, they wanted us to enroll in a program that would demand either a few months to be approved or would require us to have a night nurse come on a regular basis and not on-call/for emergencies.Then, we got to the Baby Nurse and Doula Services and as soon as we dialed the phone number on their website, Veronica (the owner) picked up the phone immediately, answered all our questions and accommodated all our requests. She was so friendly and nice over the phone that we booked right away without looking even further.She secured a night baby nurse for us even if we were requesting it for 6 nights just a week away from the day we called. Also, when we requested an additional three nights after doing the first 6, even if she couldnt provide us with the same night nurse, she found a replacement immediately by calling another nurse on her team.Veronica is super quick at responding over text for anything you might need and ALL the baby nurses we had (we met three), were ADORABLE and went always the extra step. One of them gave me all sorts of new mum advice, created a little schedule to help me build a routine and told me that my son was throwing up sometimes because I fed him a little too much (Oops..).Also, COMPETITIVE PRICES!!! There are no agency fees and she only asks for a deposit for each night for which you book one of her night nurses. Her rates are INCOMPARABLE to any other night nurse agency.Veronica is truly a star and a sweetheart and her baby nurses (newborn care doulas) which she personally picks and trains are all amazing.Thank you so much for such a great service!!

We had just returned from a Europe trip with my 6 month old son and were all suffering from jet lag and sleep deprivation. After not getting any decent sleep for days in a row and not being able to function at home or at work, I looked up night nurses on the internet and found Veronica. She was very responsive to my call and reassuring on the phone. I took a big leap of faith leaving my son overnight with someone I had never met before, but she came with excellent references and I had a good feeling about her. Veronica turned out to be very good with my son. She put him back to sleep twice that night when he woke up, allowing me and my husband to finally get one night of uninterrupted sleep. It’s amazing what a difference that makes! I felt like a new person the next day. Aydin is now over his jet lag and sleeps 9 hours a night. Veronica still keeps up with his progress via email and gives me helpful suggestions.

My husband and I first began working with Veronica when my son was about 4 weeks old. I found her information one night as I combed through Google in search for a baby nurse to help with night shifts so my husband and I could catch up on some much needed sleep. In the first couple of weeks of working with Veronica, we found that Veronica is not only a doula and newborn specialist, but a new parent educator as well. Veronica afforded us with more than our missed hours of sleep—she boosted our confidence as first time parents, helped add some insight in a couple of areas we had uncertainty in, and gave us peace of mind when our son was under her watch.Just before our sons’ two month mark, Veronica offered to help sleep coach us and sleep train our baby—she assured us that he could sleep safely through the night by three months; no cry it out method involved. As first time parents, it was key that we avoided the cry it out method at all cost. Fast forward twelve weeks, and we’ve officially hit the three month mark and we can confidently say Veronica is a woman of her word. Our son is sleeping through the night (10+ hrs) and is as happy as can be. We can’t thank her enough and will continue working with her once he begins to transition from bottles to solids. We are so grateful for the support she not only gave us as parents, but for the love and support she gave our son.

I genuinely can’t imagine anyone better than Veronica as my postpartum doula/Newborn caregiver/night nurse. She was truly a godsend and I strongly recommend her. She’s FANTASTIC in every way — a true baby whisperer that made me feel safe, supported and calm at such a high anxiety time.I was unexpectedly induced early and after 5 sleepless nights in the hospital I was desperate for Postpartum support when we got home. At the last minute I texted Veronica in the early morning - after never having met her before, just interviewed her weeks before - and she came that night. She also texted me really good advice when I was still in the hospital, she played the role of a Doula before I even met her! - to help us with my baby’s borderline jaundice. She offered the assistance without me even asking, because that’s who she is. She’s so helpful and knows more about babies than anyone I know.That first night with Veronica was amazing. She helped us learn how to do things, guided us in creating a plan for feeding and pumping, and my husband and I got some much-needed sleep. The nighttime feedings were easy bc she’s a lactation consultant and knows exactly what she’s doing and what a baby needs. And she made sure I was cared for, too. We were lost when we got home from the hospital and Veronica made us feel like everything was okay.Veronica was unavailable after that first night so we hired one of her team members, Daniela. I didn’t want anyone but Veronica after such a top notch experience but Daniela is wonderful - so great with our baby, very helpful, and uses really good judgment. This is what you need when having someone care for your most precious person!I can’t remember how I found Veronica but I’m beyond grateful I did. This first few weeks are HARD and she and her team have made it SO much easier and better. Highly recommend them.

Miss Veronica is a true expert in her field. Our baby girl came by emergency C section a month early and Veronica began working right away as our night Baby Nurse and Newborn care Specialist. She helped ease my mind about caring for a C section baby who technically was not quite ready to be outside the womb yet! Along with giving our new baby an abundance of love and support, she extended this care to me, my two year old son and my husband. I did not have a Postpartum Doula with my first baby or a sleep trainer specialist, and he did not sleep through the night until he was 15 months old. During this time I struggled with post partum depression but didn’t think to ask for support. Thanks to Veronica, the experience with my second baby was night and day compared to my first. I thought it would be hard to rest while someone had my baby but Veronica felt like a family member because she genuinely cared for my baby as if her own. By the time she left us, my baby was sleeping fully through the night at only a few months old!5 stars!

In the 4 months I’ve known Veronica, she has truly become a part of our family. Veronica has worked as my Surrogacy Doula and New born Specialist for me for the past 3 weeks for 24 hours a day.During this time, she has treated me and my son as her own family. My husband and I had been searching for the right Postpartum Doula for our newborn twins Jeffrey and Grace when we found Veronica. FANTASTIC TWINS SPECIALIST & DOULA AFTER SURROGACYMy husband and I found Veronica about 6 months before the birth of our twins by surrogate. We called Veronica when our son was 9 weeks old and often skips naps and when he sleeps he may wake up 30 minutes to 45 minutes into it needing to be comforted. My wife and I were both sleep deprived and were needing help.Veronica came for an Infant Sleep Coaching Consultation from 3pm to 9pm. She observed our interactions with our son and helped us to put him to sleep. While he slept she also gave us tips and advice based on her extensive experience. The top things we learned from her were:1) how to coax our son to eat more at each meal so that he can go for longer stretches (we were doing exclusive breastfeeding from the breast so it was difficult previously to figure out how much he was eating; Veronica would say that eating time is business time, and we need to be more assertive with our body language to help our son understand he needs to eat);2) how to get him drowsy for sleep by patting on the back in an upright position for 10-20 minutes, so that he feels loved and secure and is burped, and also would fall asleep in our arms, so he is easy to put down after that. (Previously we would be in and out of his room many times just to get him to sleep);3) how to not respond immediately when he wakes up suddenly (though he is fed, changed and burped), but wait a few minutes to help him understand that its time to sleep;4) how to swaddle him more tightly than before;5) how to bathe him more efficiently and help him relax before bed;6) how to hold him in a way so both the baby and we ourselves can relax;7) the importance of keeping lights to a minimum a night, especially in the babys room.We learned so much in 6 hours and our son has been doing a lot better this week since her visit. Veronica truly has a passion and a gift with caring for and loving babies, and we wish that we had her over much earlier. Thanks a lot Veronica!

My husband and I worked with Veronica Hinojosa as a postpartum doula and baby night nurse for the birth of our first child in April 2019. Veronica met with us before our baby was due and already began providing value with her recommendations of the best baby products to start off on the right foot. Beginning our first night home from the hospital, Veronica’s services were invaluable for us as new parents. She provided a wealth of baby knowledge and answers to all of our questions, as well as a soothing presence in the house for us and for our baby. She immediately allowed us to feel at ease and expertly soothed our baby while we were still learning the ropes.I was especially grateful to have Veronica’s help with breastfeeding. She helped guide me through ways to get my baby to latch better, help my baby get more milk, and prevent pain for mom. Additionally, Veronica advised ways increase my milk production and prevent my baby from becoming gassy through my own diet. She also treated me to a wonderful leg massage at the start of every evening while I breastfed to help relieve swelling and create an overall relaxing atmosphere. While helping me with this transition, she also provided guidance and coaching for my husband, empowering him to help me and our baby with tips and tricks and answers to all his many questions. Her care is holistic, helping everyone in the family adjust and learn in the challenging first weeks with a newborn.We were very thankful that Veronica’s services allowed us to get more much needed sleep. While I continued to breastfeed through the night, Veronica’s care allowed me to get the most effective breastfeeding sessions, and then allowed me to sleep immediately after feeding, so I could be as rested as possible.I highly recommend Veronica’s services as both a postpartum doula and baby night nurse for any parents. Veronica helped set the stage for us to have the tools necessary to care for our baby with confidence. There is no substitute for experience, and Veronicas many years of experience as a doula are evident in her knowledge of baby care as well as care for mom. We look forward to using Veronicas services again when our baby is ready for sleep training.

Veronica is fantastic ! I was desperately trying to get my second baby to take a bottle at 3 months old and was at my breaking point when Veronica swooped in to save the day. She exudes confidence and knowledge which was exactly what I needed. She took charge and put in the extra hard work I wasn’t capable of at the time. My son finally took to the bottle at the end of the week and we haven’t looked back since. If you think your baby will never take a bottle, don’t give up ! Give Veronica a chance and let her do her thing.

We called Veronica Hinojosa-Stang when our little one was about 1.5 months old and I was sleep deprived, depressed and felt hopeless. I was looking forward having a Baby Sleep Coach or Baby sleep trainer and a Doula who would support me.We found Veronica she is amazing! She is so professional and knowledgeable! I assumed that having a Master’s degree in psychology and working with elementary school aged children would give me enough experience to take care of a baby, but I underestimated the intensity of the situation. I tried to seek advice from family members and friends to no avail; I continued to struggle getting only 1-2 hours of non-consecutive sleep; I was stuck in a downward spiral and it was taking its toll. Veronica came in like a breath of fresh air; she helped organize and establish a healthy routine for us to follow that gave our home predictability and security. I began to feel confident in my ability to care for our baby and the fog of sleep deprivation had finally lifted into something much more manageable. I appreciated Veronica’s understanding and reassurance when I was at my lowest.My only regret is that I didn’t contact Veronica sooner. Its easy to have so many people around willing to help, but all you really need is one that knows exactly what you should be doing.Veronica Hinojosa was the best Postpartum Doula, she supported and coached me to be a good mom and made me human again. A great bonus is that she is also a Baby Sleep coach and Infant Specialist who knew how to create healthy sleep habits that transformed our lives. Being able to sleep has definitely made me a better mother to my son.

I Had my second baby in April and needed extra support I was happy to find a night nurse that was afffordable and didn’t require me to book nightly. I have been pleased with the doula services and now at 5 weeks PP, I continue to use Baby Nurse and Doula services. I am pleased with the Doula’s!

Veronica Hinojosa was such a tremendous help for our family. Life changing!We hired her and her team for 6 weeks when our boy was 2 months old to get some help at night and to sleep train the baby. Veronica was our Postpartum Doula and Infant Sleep trainer.Thanks to her tricks, he is growing well, sleeps from 8pm to 7:000am every day and has also a regular schedule during the day. She loves and knows so much about babies and her enthusiasm, Professionalism and expertise helped us organizing our life a little better. And we finally recovered from the birth! As new parents, we were definitely lost about what and how to do things. We are so grateful we could work with her. As a breastfeeding educator, she was able to help me with breastfeeding tips and tricks and provided me with valuable information; I learn about Infant massage and she shared a lot of information so we could help our baby grow. Veronica Hinojosa-Stang, is truly an exceptional Postpartum Doula and Infant Care Specalist. She was there for my family in so many ways after we brought our son home from the hospital. My husband and I were completely clueless about how to care for our newborn son so I am grateful that we were able to hire Veronica as our private Newborn Educator. She truly was beyond our expectations. The instruction and knowledge she provided us with is priceless. She put the first big smile on my face after being a bit distraught with caring for our son the first days after delivery and feeling like we were already being awful parents. First off, she helped set our son on a feeding and napping schedule. Veronica taught us how to feed, burp, swaddle, change a diaper properly and how to put on his onesies as well as many other tips and techniques to make it easier for us. She was also very loving and kind with our son which made me truly feel that we had made the right decision.She was also kind and caring with me as I was having difficulties breastfeeding for multiple reasons and very emotional from the birth experience. She spent the time talking to me and listening to my concerns and helping in any way that she could. I was able to produce more milk on my pumping sessions with her thanks to her wonderful massages and TLC.Veronica has a very busy schedule and since we ended up calling her last minute to help, she was not able to work with us long term since she was already working with a family at night, so she worked with us for 3 days in a row and she offered her team members to work with us day and night.We loved her team as well. Every single one of the Doulas were sweet and super helpful. My son was always in good hands and being treated with the utmost care and compassion. I am so grateful that Veronica was available for my family when we really needed her services.
