Affordable Lamps really knows what outstanding Customer Service is, and more importantly, that is what youll receive when you do business with this company. I ordered a porch light from them which was back ordered, but I was kept informed promptly regarding the order status. The light came today, just like I was told. Definitely a refreshing online shopping experience!
Contacted them regarding their advertising of the 125% price match with a competitor last week. I had to call them twice and was told I would get a return phone call yesterday and again today. Still haven’t. Today I was told that because the competitors quote was so low they did not have the authority to honor their advertised policy and had to pass the decision on to the vice President. Really???Why do they advertise a policy that they don’t seem to want to honor. Why have such a policy in the first place.I will never do business with this company!!! Terrible public relations. if I could give zero stars I would!!!
With over 40 different brands to chose from and, 30,000 different lighting products, affordable lamps is the only place to shop for me. The service is wonderful and, the prices are outstanding for the quality of the items. Affordable lamps meets all my expectations of what a good business should be!
I ordered a lamp which wasn’t the right size so I returned it and reordered the correct size. I love the Kitchner lamp I finally received but It has been over 2 months and I still haven’t received a refund for the first lamp. I call every week and leave a message if I don’t get through. When I do get through they give a different reason why the refund hasn’t happened. Last I heard it was sitting on the managers desk awaiting approval over 2 wks ago. Today no one answers phones. I wouldn’t be surprised if they were out of business. Who runs a company like this?
If I could leave a ZERO star, I would !!! The WORST customer service, if you could call it service, EVER! I ordered my outdoor sconces on April 24th, and they kept dragging it out (STILL HAVENt GOTTEN THEM YET)- saying that at first the sconces were not in stock (NOT what their website said, btw!), and then were telling me that they are understaffed an overwhelmed with orders. Does that give them the right to talk to me the way they do!?? Totally rude staff (Mike and Alan...though Mike is worse). I tried cancelling my order, and they wont even let me, saying that they already set up shipment and just need to give me the tracking number. I am super polite and not even a difficult customer, but they cut me off when I speak, dont even have a proper phone greeting, and treat me like Im the most unimportant person to them - like Im bothering them, when IM the one giving them business! I dont get it!!! DONT GO HERE!!!!!
BEWARE to any buyers who want to make large orders. READ THE RETURN POLICY - EVERY WORD. This is NOT the place to make large orders as they wont honor the boldly marketed 30 day return policy and no re-stocking fees for ANY ITEM within an order of $2500 or more. Misleading.My order was $4600 and I asked for an exception (not having known about the policy when I bought) less than 10 days after it arrived. When i asked for an exception, the owner offered me a 35% restocking fee- more than the brands that he actually charges restocking fees for. The brands i ordered were in the no-restocking fee list. He conceded to 25% but now Im taking it up with VISA who agrees this is a totally un-reasonable return policy and one that is NOT acknowledge wtihin the purchase process.
Called their number and it rang and rang and rang. Nobody picked up. Was following up on an order placed 3 weeks ago to no success. The turn around time quoted was too long as well. Well see if I ever get my order....
