Oh my goodness the Pavilions store on Melrose and Vine is magnificent. The customer service is great! If they have something you need its fresh. If you have a request they can get it immediately. The facility is clean. The parking lot is clean, its just a pleasant experience. Ive very happy with the Deli. The items are made to perfection. The selection of projects is really good. The staff is consistently attentive and receptive. Go to this location, you will enjoy the experience.

Look for: Usually well stocked with friendly and helpful clerks.The clerks do a great job. I got a box for my shipping needs once from a nice clerk. Some places like Target dont give you their boxes. This grocery chain location is well kept with visually appealing displays, although they do well visually and in atmosphere, the selection seems to be a little bit lacking. They seem to carry very particular brands.Parking is generally good and easy, no garage or payment.The staff is friendly enough. Hot bar serves tasty food and it has a Panda Express inside as well as a pharmacy that opens after 10 am.Their prices are on the expensive side. Make sure to use a rewards phone number upon checkout or prepare to pay a lot more.The surrounding area is a bit sketchy, lots of homeless folks who can be mentally unstable and hostile. It’s not too dangerous, but stay alert and lock your car and don’t get too close to anyone who looks rather unstable.Lots of studios around the area but it’s a drag to walk there.PRO TIP (especially to anyone traveling or just moved here ) use a rewards phone number or else you’ll end up paying quite a bit extra money.The rewards program is free and only takes a few minutes to set up if you don’t have one

Great store in a good location. The store feels comfortable to walk through and the displays make everything easy to find. Theres a Panda Express at the entrance, which is descent. The hot foods and Deli section is great but the bakery doesnt have much to offer. The meat and seafood section is good and you can find descent prices. The produce is a bit expensive but you will get quality fruit. Lanes are long sometimes but self-checkout is faster. Never any issues with parking.

Just went here to pick up some cereal. They do have a Starbucks in there but they dont do the type of drink I like to drink. Its a limited selection. Although pavilions has a lot its really really overpriced.

Anything is available in a single store. I always visit this place because I can find fairly priced items there. New veggies and meat were on sale. The mood was also good because the shows were not overcrowded. This establishment comes highly recommended from me.

Had to unload at the restroom, they were so accommodating. What a relief to have a nearby Pavilions when you got to take a dump. 5 stars!

This store was so large and welcoming that you could quickly find what you were looking for. Their cashier was very polite and pleasant. The prices were reasonable. Ill be here again and again.

Service at the bakery is poor. We were ignored for almost 15 minutes while we waited on the 2 persons behind the counter take care of another customer who was ordering what sounded like a very complicated cake.It would have been nice if one of them would at least say that they will get to us as soon as they finish.It just sounded like they need a lot of customer service training and we felt like they were incredulous to us.The other person sounded like he was incapable to taking this order and needed to consult with his colleague on all aspects of the order.

I still do my food shopping here. As seen in this picture, they had both dry and wet goods. There will be no more wasting time going to another grocery store. Anything you need to cook a meal is available here.

Quality of food has dropped. Rusted lettuce bags, moldy fruits/vegetables, and flies inside bags of bread loafs. Costa going up, and quality going down. Used to be my favorite store to shop.

Ive been coming here to shop almost 10years now, has everything I need and plus I get 10 cents off chevron gas for every $100 I spend. Very well maintained market clean floors.

I love this store! It was extremely super clean, and they had every plant based product that I was looking for in the moment. Customer service is also not too shabby. Every time I look for something and couldnt find it, the team was more than willing to assist me find what I was looking for.

I love Pavilions they have a very large variety of cookies, breads, meat, groceries, cleaning stuff, dog food, cake, all ready cooked food, etc. But i have to said it is a little bit expensive than most large groceries stores if you have that money ignore my comment and just have fun at Pavilions.

I feel like Pavilions is always busy. But they have everything you need. I usually come here for the fresh flowers.

The aisles are vacant- what is there looks... sad.Don’t head to the self checkout with a large load, (I did it bc there was a long line at their only open register) and they were all over me and my items. “Did you scan both of those?” Like super not what I want when i’m grocery shopping.

2 does mean that the place were bad. I just think that this place, can be more helpful and friendly. Its clean.

Great organic vegetable selection

The jeans that I brought from here has a good quality. Even my sister admired the design for it is unique. They have also different styles of shoes. I bought one pair also for my brother. He was so happy for it was so nice. I will recommend this place to everyone! Thank you so much for the accommodating staff!

The worst Starbucks I have ever been to. The employee was rude and refused to put sugar or cream in my drink. I have never been treated so badly at a Starbucks.

Clean. Checkers are very friendly and kind willing to smile through their mask and take the time to ask you how your day is. Starbucks inside so you can get your coffee on the way out it’s a great one stop shop for me!

Good selection of alcohols. Meat prices are a bit much and the lines can take forever, even for the self checkout.

All staff and customers wear a mask get, correctly without complaint. The vibe is chill. In produce today, I had 3 people helping me find something. Unheard of service!

I always go to vons / pavilions. Its the best at night when I need to grab a quick bite like a whole rotisserie chicken and a can soda. The Starbucks is okay here too. :)

Clean, not too pricey, helpful customer service. Plus the deli its right on the money. I suggest the white potato salad. Believe it or not (as long as you come around lunch time) the deli Caesar salad is my favorite caesar in the neighborhood.

Just a bit frustrated from an incident here last week.I ordered Fish Oil Pills online for pickup.I go to pick them up and see that the expiration date is before my last 90 day batch that I purchased at Target. Not expired, jut not as fresh.So I walk over to the shelf and see that they have the same Fish Oil with the same bar code dated 1 year fresher!I take that container up to the front and ask them if they can just swap the two bottles our because I want the fresher one?Both the clerk and her supervisor refused! It was the same exact Pills, not a single difference other than the expiration date.The clerk told me that the procedure is to wait at least 24 hours and return the fish oil and then order again and hope to get the fresher one off the shelf.My frustration was growing so much I just walked out before I was going to let someone have it and cause a scene.Tomorrow what I am going to do is visit the store first and arrange all the fresh bottles toward the front and push the older ones to the rear. Then I will order online again and prey that they pick one in front. I will then know if they are intentionally trying to pawn off the old stuff on delivery and online order people if I get another old one.And I will then return the old one I picked up last week.Big time wasting headache that could have been solved immediately at pickup last week.

Its my favorite grocery store. They always have what i want for a fair price.

Freshness and combining lower prices and convenience

Please do not patronize businesses that treat people this way.I was pulled out of a long line after a long wait, when standing is excruciating for me. I lost my place, and was too exhausted to complete my order due to a serious condition.The supervisor in charge could not have cared less, and the manager on site who finally came out after staff lied and redirected me to the store supervisor didnt care either.Unbelievable that places like this are even allowed to operate. I risked a lot to come here for critical needs, with my wheelchair, and lost hours because i trusted the positive reviews here. Do not make my mistake, I will have to spend further time speaking to corporate and filing all relevant complaints.

Always love coming back here! Everything you need at your own home is under one roof. Being in this place gives you a nice feeling because everything you see inside was so good and well-stocked. Its not bad, but vegans beware... I swear this store only stocks vegan products because they have to lol. Every vegan section in the store (freezer dessert section, freezer dinner/protein section, non-dairy milks/creamers section, vegan deli section near produce) are criminally understocked and just plain out of stock. Ive visited plenty of times and only managed to grab the same oatmilk twice because theyre just always out, in different ways. And its easy to see the contrast between these sections and the non-vegan ones, since usually theyre side by side. Cmon now, its LA, I dont have this problem at any other store in the city. Whoever manages stock needs to figure this out. Might update this review with photos sometime to prove my point 🤣That being said everything else is perfectly fine, including employees, covid safety, etc. So Ill give credit where credits due. Just work on the vegan sections please... Its embarrassing

I asked for 1/3 of a pound of salad at the deli and the deli clerk gave me 0.7 lbs. I asked for three or four potato wedges and he gave me nearly a dozen. I asked for one healthy breaded chicken tender and he gave me two. I am talking about the Central and Los Feliz Glendale location. They caused me to pay $15 for what I requested that should have cost me half of that.
