Finally made it out to a Poketo store! It was smaller than anticipated, but had a great selection of stationery and home goods.

One of my favorite gift shops in DTLA and Little Tokyo. Lots of unique albeit pricier items. I especially LOVE their paper products. I’m addicted to their planners and have been going to Poketo for my planners for years now - Everything from the colors to the interior layout and thoughtful structure and space and yes I’m still talking about their planners. Love em.

Tasty and accurate place

Adorable shop right in the middle of Little Tokyo. Went here just to pick up some unique birthday cards for friends and family and so happy I did. Stocked with a ton of other gifts and special goodies too that definitely scream local as well, definitely a must stop by!

Poketo is a great little shop in Little Tokyo that sells a lot of goods made by local artisans. I am always tempted to purchase everything in there, but some things can get pricey. You can find always great presents in the store, because they sell so many different things, from clothes, to cards and paper, to housewares. I love coming to see the different collections that they sell every so often. They also have workshops that look really fun and someday I will try to attend one.

So unique.AND I like that they have the most unique gifts if you need to pick something up for a baby shower.They have a really small selection of clothing but theyre all really tasteful.Book, nick-nacks, candles, other things that you didnt know you need and suddenly find yourself needing them, ya, this store will do that to ya.

Excellent Customer Service!I had purchased a beautiful Hasami porcelain mug and wooden lid.Unfortunately the lid was defective and warped after only a few uses.It seemed like a rare instance so I contacted customer services online.Jimmy, a Poketo rep contacted me right away. He was so kind, helpful and understanding! Within a couple emails I had a replacement lid shipped to my house!Couldnt be more happy with the customer service and ultimately my purchase. The initial purchase was defective but everything got worked out painlessly in the end. And the new lid works perfectly.Ill definitely shop with Poketo again, great quality and excellent customer to ensure quality regardless of mishaps.

I love this store! For some reason Google Plus inaccurately categorizes it as a clothing store--it is so much more than that! This is one of my favorite places to shop for gifts, for all sorts of occasions, but also to treat myself to something fun.They stock great paper goods, and have stylish housewares and accessories. Ive also bought great baby gifts here, as well as jewelry and books. One day I will get around to signing up for one of their fun diy workshops!

Adorable little store in the arts district of downtown LA. The feeling of this store reminds me of Rare Device in San Francisco, or the shops on Abbot Kinney in Venice. There seems to be a lot of events that take place here throughout the year. I would recommend checking out the stores social media profiles to know when they are doing cool events.

A perfect day. the first time i went to love of Ganesha, the sun was shining, the skies were clear, and believe it or not there wasnt too much traffic and i was able to find a parking spot close by!the clothes were not for me, however i stocked up on some really beautiful incense, and found some wonderful reasonably priced crystals.the owner was very kind and gracious and of course offered me a wonderful cup of tea and gifted me a wonderful piece of amethyst. the owner radiates a peacefulness and joy something i aspire to.

Cute little shop in the Arts District. A great place if you are looking for a unique gift or something for yourself.They have a good clearance selection as well if youre not wanting to pay full price. Prices could be a little high, but worth for what you are getting.

This location has a lot less than is advertised on the website. Which was disappointing, but what was more disappointing was the staff. They were more interested in talking to each other rather than engaging with us while being rung up. I mean fake it at least.

Excellent place to find unusual cards and gifts.Nice baby section, knick knacks, and housewares. You can get a $5 card or a $200 copper gooseneck water pitcher for pour over coffee and everything in between.

This might be my favorite store in LA. Always enjoy poketoing around in here.

A general store that always stops when you come to little tokyo.But the price of stationery (especially notes) is not too high? I often think that I do not always buy. It is expensive because it is not mass-produced ~. But cute.

General store also listed in the guidebook.The store is organized and the display is easy to understand. There is something different from the sense of the Japanese general store, and I think that you may try to go to Little Tokyo.
