Large assortment of items. I enjoyed their housewares and appliances section. The store always carries a variety of items and well stocked with holiday items. One thing to notice is that two weeks ago I purchased light bulbs and they did not work. When I returned and asked for an exchange, the cashier allowed it. A supervisor then looked at my transaction and asked if I had put MY used defective bulbs from home in the box to exchange? I was surprised at his comment and replied No. I brought the packs back because I tried them and one did not turn on and the other was too low. I was confused because I asked for an exchange and not a refund. BUYERS BEWARE

Actually the Name hasnt changed to 99 CENTS AND UP. However, all you can hardly see in the sign is that. Above it, it does still say Red Tag Discount.99 CENTS AND UP. Its like they went shopping by bulk at the 99 CENTS ONLY STORE then sold everything for $1.39 and UP! WOW. 40% PROFIT? What a Rip Off you Say? Nope! I use to sell my closeouts to the 99 CENTS ONLY STORE: and they want everything for .40cents. Thats 110% profit. Specially now theyre not even ashamed of selling things for $1.99 to $14.99. They are now wanting more than 110%! NOW THATS a RIP-OFF! At least the people here Specially the Iranian (assuming all I know is he is Middle Easterner) owner is extremely nice! Every staff is very nice!

The 24 hours/closed 6 days a week is a gimmick to lure people into a regular business hour day. You think its a closing sale and you just walk in to the same red tag store its been. The owner greets you with this smug greeting knowing he has fooled you.
