Delicious! A must try. Dessert is always a good idea

This was our first time here. We had just finished eating and could smell these yummy desserts from 2 stores down. Went inside and checked out the menu. We all ordered different items on the menu. It Smelled Amazing in there and we werent disappointed. The Lady behind the counter was so nice and took our order. I recommend this place if your in this area.GOOD STUFF...!!!

Cute little place for ice cream and waffles on Spring street and 6th. I skipped the waffle and just had a cup of mint chip though the waffles smelled great . Extra seating upstairs. The staff was really friendly and nice .

It tastes really good. The waffle and ice cream together is amazing. Their peanut butter shake is amazing. Its expensive. And its a metric ton of sugar. Not exactly sure about all the ingredients they use and exact sugar amounts. I could really drink the shake with a straw. I had to use spoon.

Both locations🔥fire( consistent). Ice cream, service & that waffle is life changing. Im a chef.. & I pride myself on the best texture & Flavor waffles.. alot of ppl do them just out the box &/or wrong. My family loves the flavor combinations (cookie monster one) so good. I love they also have good vegan flavors ( strawberry is my fav).. im hoping they add pistachio one day 🙏🏾.

This was a great experience! The waffles had a great taste and the ice cream was delicious. The guys working there were friendly and helpful. Definitely on my list of places to go back to.

I seen it on Instagram and I do not regret going. This place is definitely not for the weak. Prices are reasonable and the Waffle is delicious. They make it their and its bomb. Hands down one of the best places for waffles.

There very expensive each ice cream ranges $10-$12 I got one scoop $5 it all depends as well if u love waffles they put in with ice cream then u must pay more $$$ I only got one scoop of mint

Wow! I highly recommend the bubble waffle! It is so good! It is open during COVID and only 5 people can be inside with masks. They make the waffle right in front of you so, it’s fresh and soft. It’s a little pricey Dolly’s dream was $11.83 to be exact. They also have milkshakes for $12. There was a black woman with dreads that was so friendly! Loved her! Except one guy on Sunday that was very rude! He was having a really bad day. 😂

Nevermind the Karens, this is the place. I got the softer of the two waffle choices, it came piping hot. Cashiers were helpful and environment cool.

Holy moly I wish I wish I lived in DTLA because Id be here on the regular. High quality food at a reasonable price delivered quickly? Yes please! If youre considering making a late night run here for a craving, dont hesitate to give it a go.

The desserts here are simply fantastic, and the atmosphere is fantastic. I recommend visiting this place if youre into delicious desserts and enjoy a good time.

Warning!!! Before even considering walking into The Dolly Llama please be assure you have left your ego and diet at the door!It’s usually really hard for me to be a fan of ice cream but this has nailed and sealed the deal as my new favorite ice cream spot, the warm fresh waffle choices made to order are so good with a scoop of a cold ice cream And multiple toppings you can add honestly.I believe my favorite part about this place is, even though you are consuming a astronomical amount of sugar the portions are perfect enough to enjoy your desert without having to roam for water because of how dehydrated you are.

If you want ice cream and waffles you are in the right place. The waffle I had was visually pleasing and tasty. Probably should have shared it, but I ate it myself and dont feel guilty. They got some unique menu items or you can build your own snack. Great place for kids and adults.

This is a really cool dessert place. Its very modern and has a great aesthetic. Its a lot brighter in person and its pretty exciting when you walk in. They did really well in managing their space because there are two floors and it feels spacious (nice enough for a group of approx.16 friends) . There are tons of toppings to choose from and I can say the portion for the Bubble Waffle kinda fits the price even though its a little on the expensive side ($9+Tax). Theyre open late so you can swing by when youre out in downtown and you just want a quick fix for your dessert craving. Just think Ice cream and waffles and stroll in. The ice cream is actually really good and I wish the Bubble Waffle came with more than one scoop.. that might even out the ice cream-to-waffle ratio 🤔. It is definitely a lot to take on because I typically cant stop eating unless my plate is clean and I couldnt finish mine, so be prepared! All in all I love the creativity and Id definitely come back. I look forward to suggesting it whenever anyone asks for a cool place to get dessert 🙌🏿

I liked the decor and was excited to try the waffle. I thought the waffle was a little to hard. I expected it to be soft. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely go back and try something different.

Mediocre store bought almost freezer burned ice cream served on novel and nice waffle cones - with fun toppings. SLOW SLOW service, hip shop that is well decorated. Will not return. Fun, kids liked it but not high quality.

The ice creme isn’t bad. It is a pretty good tasting ice creme and it is colorful. However, what you pay for isn’t as colorful as it looks and makes you wish for something more special.

Great sweet treat stop. Love the bubble waffle cone with ice cream and goodies.

So call first because even on a busy night they will close early if they feel like it. 11:30pm and they locked the doors as we walked up to it when their close time is posted at 12 midnight.

I absolutely loved the shake I got from here. It was very tasty and sweet. I also liked the llama on the cup. The shake had a candy bar in it which I thought was pretty cool because most places don’t do that.

This place is very Instagrammable from top to bottom, inside-out so I think that’s what people are paying for and I also think that is their business model. The ice cream was actually good but for them to sell me on the concept everything needed to be great, especially the waffle. My order could’ve done without the waffle though. Ice cream with some simple toppings would’ve been fine but then again, there’s a hundred other places in town that can do just that for half the price. I can see kids and teenagers eager to post their dessert pics on IG or Snap really liking it though. I won’t be coming back. Good luck!

It was really good and wait time wasnt too bad on a wednesday evening. My girlfriend and I both got the horchata ice cream with different toppings each. The horchata ice cream was so good. I’m giving it a 4 stars cause the location is terrible, took like 15 min to find free parking and we had to walk like 3 blocks

My husband had the #3 llama gone nuts and I had the #1 Dollys dream.. both came out to $18, which is why I gave this place a 4 star. Its a little pricey. The spot is pretty cool. We took ours to go. Parking is ridiculously hard to find, but thats DTLA for you. Over all, I would come back. Maybe share the icecream, since it is very sweet and filling for 1 person.

Honestly I had zero issues here.. Everyone was pleasant the shake I had was good the staff were friendly it was kind of busy so I had to wait a little nothing I wasn’t expecting. Cool spot for a late night date or hangout with friends creative looking drinks and fun atmosphere!

This is a tasty guilty treat. I love it here and come al the time. Only downfall is that their cinnamon toast shake and many other shakes, ice creams are loaded with HUGE amounts of sugar on sugar, topped with sugar, definitely had to give some away, hopefully one day they Implement some artists will less sugar in it. I recommend Other options if you are watching out for excessive high sugar. Other then that, Staff are the best!!

The ice cream is amazing and it was a really unique dessert spot overall. Highly recommend it! We got the cookie monster and it was plenty big enough for both of us to share.

I was from out of town visiting and I wanted to try this place since so many people rave about it on IG and other social media websites. I was not disappointed at all! I ordered the Waffle stick and it was really tasty. This was something different for me to try and I enjoyed it a lot. I wish we had something like this in my city!

If I could go in, get a single scoop on a cone, and not have to have my credit checked I might give them 2 stars...but the current environment, set by the 20 somethings working at the two Ive visited, give off a snooty, aloof vibe that reeks of a posers attempt at being cool.

A delicious waffle and ice cream place. The waffles were quite fluffy and nicey presentable. The price is fair for what you are buying. Plus there are so many different combinations of waffles, toppings, and ice cream you could get.

Oh my goodness!!! They are so damn good. Lets start with the basic. They have some of the freshest and most delicious tasting waffles ever. The bubble waffle( the most eye appealing), the og waffle and the waffle cone are absolute gold. I could order any of their waffle products by itself and Ill be good. Now you add their superb ice cream and toppings and now youre in heaven. Literally paradise just exploding in your mouth with every bite. Dolly llama is unmatched!

The male cashier on 10/05/2020 at 11pm was so unprofessional. He had the audacity of calling me rude. He asked us to wait outside, and when someone got in after us, he took him in and rang him up. When we told him why he did that, he has the nerve to call me rude and tell me I didnt see you outside, I thought you guys left instead of apologizing. Please hire people with good customer service instead of rude people with no type of customer service.

Came in with a friend today and we both got the brownie sundae. It was incredible! You can choose up to three flavors for the scoops of your sundae, and its drizzled with caramel, chocolate, brownie bits, cookie bits, cereal, hot fudge, and whipped cream. It was definitely a million calories but worth every bite! The girl behind the counter was friendly and sweet and super accommodating. Will definitely be back again soon!

Too much goodness

The girls there were rude. They were talking to each other the whole 7 minutes we were there. They didn’t even acknowledge us when we walked in and when I asked them both a question they just looked at me and didn’t say anything. The guy working there had to step in and help me out. I really should have left then. Never returning. Poor customer service.

Great service; great for icecream lovers. The staff is friendly and provides an excellent service to their customers. They gave me some dolly llama stickers as souvenirs.I love the color scheme in the dolly llama. This place was actually on my bucket list to go when in LA. It is located in the heart of downtown around other cool spots, where people dine or club.I definitely recommend to try this spot out. Ill definitely be back.

The waffles look sooo good but they can be a little dry. I would suggest to not get the chocolate toppings and go more for ice cream and fruits.

The ice cream from this place is good, if theyre paying attention to what youre requesting. What I dont like about this place is that they lie about their restroom. They have said before we dont have one, theyve also said its under construction.. and now its out of service.. I thought it was under construction since months ago.. Ive actually used the restroom before, for them to be lying about it now. Before they starting putting their trash in front of the door to prevent people from going in. They always change their story about it and dont let clients use the restroom. What if I just wanted to wash my hands to be able to eat comfortably? Everything in DTLA is very filthy and it would make my experience better if I was able to wash my hands. I wont be returning to this location for this reason.

I got food poisoning. No joke. I love this place but they really need to check expiration dates and products. Had one bubble waffle, an hour later I was vomiting like crazy. Now I’m in bed, trying to recover. Still nauseous but doing much better after like seven vomit feats
