Their ice cream were good. They have flavors that are extraordinary for this part of the world. They have a lot of flowery flavors added like lavender, rose or spices like saffron. Ice creams are a bit sweet for my liking but flavorful. Its a delight to try the flavors they offer.

Outrageously good ice cream, one of my all time favorites for sure. Insanely good texture, amazing flavors and perfect sweetness. A heaven sent for ice cream lovers.The storefront itself is super cute! Seating both inside and outside the shop. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Fred was assisting us and we just couldn’t decide which flavors to chose, they all looked so good! We told him what we like and he chose out the flavors for us.I had Taro, Coconut and Pistachio. It was honestly the BEST ice cream that I’ve ever had. I loved all three of them, especially the chunks of fresh coconut and pistachios pieces. The quality is truly unmatched.They have so many fun flavor options that are absolutely delicious! They had 10+ flavors including vegan options and clearly marked items that have gluten.I highly recommend Saffron and Rose to everyone, I will definitely revisit often.Pictured is my half eaten ice cream, I was so excited I forgot to take a photo first! One of the best places in LA for ice cream. Handmade and delicious. You have to try the saffron/pistachio and orange blossom. So good. And the banana is to die for. Serves with a smile and good prices. Five stars!

There’s usually a long line (especially during peak hours like weekend evenings), but the line tends to move relatively quickly. Plus, the saffron ice cream with pistachios is worth the wait! It’s incredibly sweet (but not overpowering) and creamy. I highly recommend giving Persian ice cream a try if you’ve never had it before.

It was my first time trying Persian ice cream and my only regret was not trying it sooner!! Service was super friendly and welcoming. I love how they gave great recommendations without any pressure. I couldn’t decide so I ended up getting four flavors: the Saffron with Pistachio, Pomegranate, Passion Fruit, and Dark Chocolate. They were ALL amazing, but I am a bigger fan of the fruity flavors and highly recommend the Pomegranate and Passion Fruit! I loved how I was able to have all four flavors for $7.. and this is INCLUDING tax!! I will definitely be back to try the other flavors.

Very good ice cream and complex flavors. I had saffron, pomegranate and orange bloom. The saffron was by far the best. I would recommend at least trying this place once to see if these flavors suit your palette. They didnt allow any flavor sampling so was difficult to determine what flavor to get. I thought the pomegranate was very tart & didnt go well with the other flavors.

This is a great Persian icecream place which I had seen in Worth It and was in my to go lists. There was a huge queue for the place so go with some extra time in hand. The flavors are really interesting and different, they do have the regular flavors as well. I tried the passion fruit and saffron pistachio..both were great! Kudos to the staff there working alone even when he had hurt his leg

I had been wanting to try Saffron & Rose for YEARS. And when I finally did, I regretted not doing it earlier! OMG. The BEST Persian ice cream Ive ever had (outside of homemade). They have really amazing and clean flavors. My favorite so far; regular rose, white rose, jasmine, saffron/pistachio and cucumber! I wish we had a Saffron & Rose in DC. Hands down, the best ice cream spot Ive ever been to! And the service is on point. Theyre so warm, welcoming and accommodating. Prices are reasonable for the quality you get. A must have whenever I am in LA!

This is where I first tried the Bastani (saffron and rose water flavored ice cream). Its likely one of their best flavors. The date ice cream is very good too. And so is the orange blossom one.The main reason I give them 4 stars though, is that theyre super close to Bloomfield, which in my opinion sells even better Persian ice cream. Theirs tend to be fattier and less sweet, which I think is how most ice cream should be.I do recommend Saffron & Rose, but if you find yourselves waiting in line, would actually suggest walking over to Bloomfield on the next block and giving their ice cream a shot.

Worth driving for 35 minutes to Westwood for this!! Get the mix 1 scoop Faloodeh and 2 scoops of teh Saffron Pistachio Ice Cream and you’ll taste heaven in your mouth! I’ve been going to this place for the longest time and I’d highly recommend it.

Wow, such a cool spot on Westwood Blvd. My wife and I got to hear from Freddy about his grandfathers passion for quality ice cream, and try the fan favorite saffron ice cream with pistachio. SO GOOD, highly recommend.

BEST ice cream I’ve had in the U.S. *** hands down!Quality is on point, price is fair, serving is generous and flavors are truly divine. I chose saffron (with pistachio), pink rose and jasmine. I loved the 11 flavors I tried but the floral variety were the most unique and exotic. Must mention — *cucumber ice cream*… I was apprehensive but it’s pure bliss on a hot summer day.Saffron & Rose is worth a visit if you’re only in the area for a day or live on the other side of town. This is going to be a new detour on all West Coast visits.What a gem! Don’t miss this spot if you are into exotic adventures.

This place was my first Persian ice cream experience and it was amazing! It really doesnt matter what you get to be honest. I got the saffron and pistachio one the first time and my wife got the melon and it was all fantastic! Truly, you cant go wrong in selecting any flavor! Take a chance and try something new or stick with what you know, either way this place is a great stop for a frozen treat!

Wow. Truly a memorable first experience at this delight. Amazingly unique for an ice cream parlor because of its diverse Persian culture that takes eating the dessert to another level. The flavors were charming to read and enticing to taste. I took a go with Orange Blossom and Passion Fruit; delicious. But it doesnt stop there. The lemon juice they provide elevates the flavors of both the creamy sweetness and the blissfully sour delicacy. Also, ask for some wafers. You wont regret it!

I had heard so much about this place that finally I tried it out.We went there last night on our way back home and make a quick stop.As it was my first time so we asked them to suggest us.They suggested us their best seller “The Saffron Pistachio, and oh my god it was bliss.I’m gonna come back again to try their other flavours.

So many flavors!!! Saffron pistachio, white rose, orange blossom, Thai tea, jasmine... The list goes on and on and every flavor weve tried has been really good. Go for one of the floral flavors if youre feeling adventurous but theres plenty of great safe options too!

Flavors are unique and interesting, but the ice cream is absurdly sweet -- even by American standards. Not to mention the texture was not very creamy, rather icy instead.Prices are fair and portions are relatively large, although good luck trying to finish it given how sweet it is.

The ice cream was really great and really unique flavors. The saffron pistachio has a strong saffron flavor and lots of pistachios. The rose has a strong rose flavor. They all look like sorbets but its real ice cream.

Unique Persian style ice cream shop! Only negative was the guy serving ice cream was not wearing his mask properly and it made me feel uneasy seeing him breathe all over the ice cream during the Delta virus rise. Would still come back again, hopefully to more hygienic and considerate conditions.

I’m glad we finally got to try this place! Although you can’t go inside, they have a table set up by the entrance to take your order. Pretty quick and efficient service.The saffron and pistachio had good chunks of pistachios. The fig and cranberry also had yummy chunks of fruits in it. Amazing flavors and consistency. Definitely coming back here to try other flavors!

BEWARE— EXTREMELY ADDICTIVE. The green tea is absolutely to die for. I also tried rose and lavender, a bit too strong for me; as for the green tea, I can’t get it off my mind.

I have been searching for rose ice cream places for so long and finally found this local gem! It is definitely the best ice cream in town. The flavors I tried and I really like are white rose, pink rose, jasmine and lavender. Yum yum. They also have vegan and gluten-free options.

Perhaps one of my favorite ice cream places ever! Not too too expensive, and offers something unique that you really cant find often in the US. I personally recommend the taro and ube or really any of the floral flavors. The guys that Ive seen work there thus far have also been really chill and friendly, efficient and quick! Lets goo!

It was Saturday and they’ve been super busy but they’ve been fast and took good care of all the customers who’ve been in line . Many kind of variety and yummy too hard to choose the flavor but after all was a great experience.

It was our first time and Mason was fantastic! He let us try any flavor we wanted and explained which ones were most popular and, based on what we told him our ice cream preferences were, he led us to flavors we didn’t even ask to try but he thought we’d like. Strawberry flavor tastes so fresh. I would recommend adding Rose ice cream with it, or orange blossom whichever you are in the mood for.The staff is super friendly, and the owners are usually there making sure everyone is satisfied and happy with what they offer. This place is from heaven. I went their after hearing so many stories on how good their ice cream is. I have ordered three flavors on one cup. Saffron, cucumber and passion fruits. The saffron and cucumber were really refreshing and you feel that you are literally on the sky while having them. The passion fruit is ok. The prices are reasonable to me and I definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting LA.

A must try spot, there are a variety of unique flavors (i.e. White Rose) which are definitely worth a try. If you let the ice cream melt a bit before indulging, youll find it has a texture youve never before tasted.

I strongly recommend it. Unique and spectacular Ice cream flavours. My all time favourite is the Faloda but also the Saffron with pistachio and French Espresso were really good. Even though the line was long but it was moving fast and the service was friendly.

Best and most unique flavors Ive ever had! Every few weeks we order a handful to be delivered and love nearly every flavor. Banana, cucumber, jasmine, Nutella and rose are some of the best. They even had taro one time, which was incredible!

Wow! Ice cream was absolutely amazing, creamy with lots of flavour. They even import fruit to create some of their flavours, and they’re one of the best fruit ice creams I’ve ever tasted. I also tried a fan favourite, even though flowers aren’t my thing, white rose, which was pretty good. The place itself isn’t very big, and doesn’t need to be, not much of a wait, street parking is available out the front and near by.

One of the best ice cream places in LA. Its very addicting flavorful creamy ice cream. I love them all but my favorite is pistachio saffron ice cream. You can take home a bucket for just $10. Expect to be in a line since this place is always busy.

Outrageous! The fig and cranberry was out of this world, had it with a scoop of pomegranate. Tasted others and was very impressed. This is not your run of the mill ice cream. Will be going back before returning to the east coast.

I was interested in trying Persian ice cream and I am glad I did. The ice cream was smooth and creamy like Gelato and frosty like ice cream. Its like the best of both worlds!They were out of cones at the shop when we were there. I got Carmel crunch in a cup. My husband got the cookies and cream. The Carmel crunch was super sweet. After a few bites I had to stop eating because it was just pure sweetest on my tongue.The cookies and cream was better. It had perfect levels of chocolate and vanilla. There were cookies pieces throughout and the chocolate was a rich and quality.I would go back to try their plain vanilla or chocolate. The Carmel crunch wasnt my favorite but everything else was pretty good.Prices were decent. $4 for a small, $6 for a medium, 8 for a large. The portions were big as well. I couldnt finish my medium ice cream.

Graduated many years back and live abroad now, but whenever Im in LA I always stop by here! Cucumber, saffron, rose are some of my favorite flavors. The guys working there are cool and give lots of samples. One of my top places to go to when Im in West LA.

You might think that price for the ice cream or the scoops is very high. The Icecream price is not at all high. They are delicious and taste quite best😍. They have different kinds of fruits and flowers favors.In addition they also have vegan options.So if according to me, if you would love to try a dessert it is the best in LA. Moreover, even 2 scoops are more than enough for 2 person. I mean 1 scoop is fine for 1 person if you are hungry.

We had friends recommend this place and we were NOT disappointed. When the employee behind the counter found out it was our first time there he gave us a sample of EVERY FLAVOR. I was so grateful because Im always embarrassed to ask for more than two samples and because of this I was to find my new favorite (Lavender) that I would never have tried otherwise. Wonderful customer service and delicious ice cream.

Did someone say Ice Cream for brunch? I just happened to be in the area and wanted to try this place. I was waiting outside before it opened, and the owner saw me and opened the door a bit earlier. He was friendly and noted that saffron and white rose were the most popular flavors (hence the name?!)They definitely use real ingredients, because their fig ice cream had real figs for example, and their fruits had real fruit. The white rose came with chunks of frozen cream which was delicious. It added a different texture. They have a pink rose too which was pink due to cactus fruit apparently. They also have vegan options in a separate fridge, which is great!The sizes are hefty and we got their pint basically with 4 flavors. He was not stingy! It was all delicious. We got Jasmine, mint chip (tastes more standard but flaky chips), white rose, and almond. The almond is also great with real almond chunks!

Probably the BEST ice cream Ive ever had! They have very unique flavors such as rose, cucumber, jasmine, and saffron along with traditional ones too. The texture and flavor of the ice cream itself is perfect. I ordered the jasmine and pink rose flavors and they were delicious! You have to try this place!
