I shopped at Royal Stone for one of my spec projects and it turned out great. At first I was hesitant to buy in the middle of the city because it’s generally more expensive than the valley but I was wrong. Royal stones prices are amazing and so is the service. Ive been in the high-end tile and stone business for over 30 years and then became a kitchen and bathroom designer 5 years ago. I have very high standards as to what I expect from my suppliers. Rodney lives up to my expectations. When I request a quote, I usually get it within minutes, complete with photos. Every time I go there, they have new products for me to work with. They are also able to provide products that work for my clients regardless of their budgets. I also love having a slab source on the west side of Los Angeles.

Overall, I had good service and appreciated their wide selection of stone and floor tile. I wish they had been clearer about how delicate porcelain slabs are. I had to pay twice as much to have them installed. Also, there was a delivery problem, but ultimately Royal Stone did the right thing and took care of it.

When calling over the phone with a few questions on two different occasions the man on the other end was extremely nasty and was speaking very loud. Said he was too busy and had other things to do. Just wondering if they provide this lack of service when you actually show up in person. I feel bad for when elderly people cannot simply show up to the location of this business and must resort to calling with any questions.

I was referred to royal stone by a client of ours when we were looking to remodel our medical office. Rodney was very educated and helped us find a tile that was both aesthetically pleasing, and safe for a medical office ( doesn’t get slippery when wet). He then helped us find slabs for our check in desk and reception area that matched the tile and voila! We ordered 2 boxes of tile 37 sq’. We are now on our third try to get matching tiles The staff bickers back and forth about who is to blame. Our tile man has come and gone three times and is getting quite frustrated What is so difficult about getting 37 square feet of matching tile Never again with these people.

They are the standard by which all should be compared. There is no doubt that they are the best when it comes to selection and knowledge. And, let us not forget friendly, too.
