Old lady mama-san is extremely rude and angry towards customers. there are other spots to get a quick drink in the area if you can avoid this crazy place.its not just her being rude to other ethnic groups, but shes just crazy and angry towards everyone - especially to other Asians.stay away!

Best Boba around! Say what you will about the atmosphere, staff, and the fact that it isnt the actual Japanese Family Mart chain; This place is awesome! This is the convenience store many of my friends and I would go to in Little Tokyo for years. Back in the day it was just a spot with any drink you could imagine in the fridges that line the outer walls. As of a couple years (or more) ago they started making their own boba and it is amazing. Fresh ingredients in whatever flavor you pick on the extensive list on the sign. Peach and Pistachio are two of my favorites. Boba smoothies are an option too! There is a decent selection of snacks available as well.Just dont take any pictures and follow the posted rules on signs all around the store or Mama-san and other staff will make you regret it! I guess everyone has their own rules in their shops, but it is well worth it to go to this store!

I found a bug in my boba and went back to get a refund and they accused me of lying when I had pictures and everything and didn’t even apologize when they gave me my money back they were so rude abt it when I WAS THE ONE WHO ALMOST DRANK A FLY. I would give it 0 stars if I could I highly recommend going somewhere else.

Dont be fooled, this store is not associated with the Japanese chain FamilyMart that youd find in Japan. The Korean owners are stealing the name and capitalizing on Little Tokyos Japanese heritage.

Convenient and has a lot of things, but they should but the prices more visible, honestly I didnt know what I paid for but the price sounded ok.

Collection/variety is good. Location is convenient for hotel guests. They should mark the store sections as staff only areas because it looked like they were getting frustrated when people were checking the store and the staff members were telling them to leave those areas of the store.

That old woman at checkout needs to be trained on how to deal with customers. Disgusting attitude, will NOT come back.

The wife that occasionally runs the store while the husband is away is very disrespectful and short with the customers. Also she thinks all African-Americans are homeless or begging because were close to skid Row very incorrect of her!!
