A better name for this business, Carpet-bagger. I wholeheartedly agree with Douglas Barton! The owner is a self-professed fashionista who really is just a fast-talking swindler. Want to be deceived? Go to this place. You will most likely end up not receiving payment for your item and NOT having it returned to you. Actually, I wouldnt advise my worst enemy to step foot in this store. Douglas Barton likened Elizabeth to awhite collar criminal.YEP, INDEED SHE IS! FASHIONISTA BUSINESS WOMAN..NO, NOT EVEN CLOSE! A con-artist peddling goods she commandeers from unsuspecting victims.

Very professional and respectful. I am sure a lot of high-end people shop here. I was not one of them, yet the staff treated me like royalty in. Big kudos to Elizabeth and her team. Plus, they made my girlfriend, mother of the bride, to look elegant and exquisite and I still had pennies left in my piggy bank.

Pretentious to a fault. The proprietress of this shop will deceive you at every phase of your involvement with her. A true white collar criminal that behaves like a malignant narcissist. The amount of people she has been dishonorable with is mind boggling. Be very careful of leaving anything with her on consignment, as this establishment has a known history of loosing, not paying for, and/or not returning many peoples things. I am sorry I have to say this but it is everyones best interest to be hyper-vigilant when doing any business with Elisabeth Mason aka The Paper Bag Princess. I stand by my word here and can honestly say I can think of no one that has a nice word to say about doing business with this place, not a single person!

They are HORRIBLE people to do business with ... the manager ( suzy) thinks she is working at Chanel in Paris rather than at a used clothing store on melrose ...There was no one in the store, yet she told me that I needed an appt to pick up my own clothes ... AWFUL people .....
