This will be my 1st & last visit to this shop. It looks like the book was touched up in effort to make the book look more valuable. For $30 this book should be in NM condition which it isn’t. Be careful when visiting this shop.

4/5 Stars. I wish they accepted card but its cash only. I never have cash but lucky for me I happen to have a few dollars and it was just enough for what I wanted. Overall the store is a nice size there is two parts but I stayed mostly in the comic side. The guy who rang me up was super friendly. There is a good selection of back issues and a bunch of new stuff for its size. I only bought new books so I didnt see any pricing issues. I will definitely be stopping by next time I am in LA! Great experience! A+

I really enjoyed this comic store. The staff was really nice. I made the mistake of touching a comic I wasnt supposed to but the staff informed me and were super calm abt it. They were extremely nice and helpful. Also, the selection of comics and collectibles was great. My brother and I both found what we were looking for.P.S. On Thursdays new comics are 20% off and on Saturday and Sunday you can get a free popsicle :)))

I love going to this shop! Its the most local and convenient comic book store in East LA. They have a great selection of comics, anime & pops.. staff is also very friendly and helpful. I enjoy dropping by and spending hours going thru the back issues, theyve always got something new on display & offer reasonable prices. This is how a real comic book store experience should be Im really glad gems like this still exists.

Great place with alot of different variety of comics and collectibles the Owner Miguel is such a nice and humble person he helped out my friend have a release on his first comic book

Great store, still representing a waning industry, becoming more rare nowadays with big stores and online presence taking over everything. Cozy spot, but they have everything from their staple of Comic Books, of course, and collectibles, toys, figures, and even wrestling ( luchador) masks!

Charming, small, staff is cool but this place doesn’t quite come close to offering the assortment of books that other well established comic shops offer.The biggest turn off for me is the makeshift pricing. One day a book costs this, another that... if you don’t buy on release day, good luck on finding a reasonable price tag.I’m always in support of small businesses, but I find myself just browsing here more than buying. I get most of my stuff online, where I can actually find what I’m looking for. I’m not sure if it’s because times are hard, but the action figures are priced way above msrp as well.Also important to mention, as I write this, the doors are closed... 32 minutes after doors are set to open.

Ive been to this store so many times and still have an amazing experience theyre staff and the manager are very professional and generous and they have Great selection on Mangas and comic when I need something they work with me and that what I like.. the staff is amazing on there job because not only selling this product but teaching to the community about the history to the items. The store look amazing with the lights it catches everyone that walks by. I love there special and the new comic they recieve.

Trash. Don’t waste your time. Rude clerk acts like every customer wants to steal their dirty wrestling action figures and ten manga books. No selection and don’t allow customers to go in both rooms. All customers must be in the same room to look at anything so they can hound and harass. Lame.

I finally got to go to Legion Comics last Saturday and I had such a wonderful time there. The staff was really nice & the store looked awesome. I look forward on visiting the store soon.

Awesome neighborhood comic shop that offers a whole lot more. Great selection of comics, toys, memorabilia, and manga too. Small shop but amazing variety and if you cant find what you are looking for just ask the owner. Hes super nice and knowledgeable and may have what your looking for in the back. Enjoy

Service dog really good friend of mine, always chill and a very charismatic man. Always updates me about new stuff and gives me a heads up about upcoming events and new comics releasing really appreciate it. And he knows Im a huge harley fan

Legion Comics is Not your Basic comic book store thats for sure, its Comic Books and So Much MORE!!..Every Thursdays all New Comics are 20% Off, and Every Saturdays all Manga Books are 15% Off..Legion Comics has been around since 1991 one of the oldest Comic Book Stores in L.A. and now re-opened in Boyle Heights!..Just an awesome place to shop..

Badass store, full of comics and anime, they do lucha libre events, AAAReally recomend, go visit this small business, really cant find a store like this anywhere in L.A.go give a visit and see for yourself.

Love this place!! Such a nice owner at Legion Comics.

Most of the staff is welcoming and very friendly and they have a decent variety of books, but they overcharge for there books, and give ridiculous reasons like first prints when in reality theres nothing special about the books, if you tried selling them the books that they have priced for more, youd get a lot less than what they sell it for.

Prices are a bit high but had to come in to support my local comic book store since my favorite in DTLA closed down during the pandemic.

The last time I went there with a friend to buy a present for a close friend of mine who loves to shop there there I own was very kind and friendly as always Im glad I discovered his shop when I did because it becomes a fun spot to go to after school with me and my friends *note this store is very covid aware so please wear a mask and use the hand sanitizer by the front of the door
