Needs more customer service respresentive available.

Waste of time. Sent bill for already paid ticket n phone system real bad. Never took call or got to next step after entering all info.

Ok so yes this court is very outdated and slow at times but the supervisor in the clerks office specifically, has been extremely helpful after I faced paying a large ticket. Majority of the employees I’ve encountered here are nice each time I’ve been here. The judges have been kind and fair towards me and towards other cases I’ve witnessed. Best day to get in and out are Friday’s.

I dont like coming here as it is the biggest time wasting courthouse with its Kafka-esque lines. So much of this would be eliminated if they upgraded their online services such as requesting court dates and made it more flexible to search their website. Also, I found a majority of the staff to be helpful but not always and some were quite rude and somewhat condescending. I was there for Traffic Court and had to sit through the very end just to request the judge to reopen my case. FYI if you pay online you forfeit your right to trial, complete BS!

I would give no stars but thats not an option. How in the hell do you guys not have operators on the phone anymore? I dont have time to go to the courthouse and the website doesnt answer my question. You sure like to hand tickets out but are not available when it comes to asking questions. ....... typical broken down government failure. Tax us, cite us and dont offer any services.

It would be great if an earthquake happened underneath this place from 8AM to 4PM.There is no way to pay for tickets using the automated or online system. No one answers phones. They will however find a way to suspend licenses, issue warrants and pay cops overtime to show up for tickets.

Un fing believable. You all have a online and telephone system to help with doing this hole process simple and it doesnt work. Same problem as everyone else, date of birth doesnt process so you are made to come to the courthouse even if you want to file for an extension. You all suck LA. Im going back to MD.

Only thing I need to do is to make a payment, yet the only way to pay is to come here and when I go, no one knows where I can make a payment at? No cashiers counter at least? I have to explore and find out where I need to go to pay? This is almost laughable if it wasnt so very real. Even the compton courthouse has a cashiers counter and guess what? Its right on the first floor with a big sign above it. This is the metropolitan courthouse just outside of downtown LA and no cashiers counter?Forget the occasionally somewhat rude employees, who respond as if I should know...I dont work here and its only my second time here. Yet I can understand that. Im sure it gets tiring answering the same questions everyday.But the fact that I cant just walk to a cashiers desk or that there arent any signs or labels for the cashier and I have to explore through all the floors and rooms that look basically the same, by default is worth 1 star alone. No one knows where it is? Whats so difficult about having a cashiers desk? Especially if you expect people to make their payments here and there is no where else to go to do that...

Drive carefully people! You dont want to come here and waste your time and spririt. Its a drag. Trust me

If there is a negetive rate I will choose that. HOW about hire someone to answer the phone? I am ok with the whatever fine but someone should taking care of this not the damn phone system.

Im sure no one likes coming here. If you were here youre likely paying a fine which no one likes. Or youre stuck doing jury duty which no one likes. However they have free Wi-Fi so thats okay.

This place got its act together Man ten years ago, this place was a nightmare just to get in, thugs everywhere, mad cops. now I am in and out in an hour. I once spent 6 hours there in 1999 for a traffic violation. one month ago in and out in thirty min and everyone was nice. It was creepy. Very Twilight zone.

A terrible place. This is obviously where they send all minorities that are pulled over in the city of LA. Almost no White people have court here.... Its an obvious Racist system

It is absurd that my taxes áre not adequatly páying for a better, user friendly website, which provides easy access to important information. Why complicate matters? Is bad enough that I receive a citación for my own stupidity, but that I have to be reminded and punished much more then i deserve by finding my way to further punishment though this legal and polítical system.

Yesterday after work, I went to the court scheduled as working until 10:30 pm in Fridays according to the schedule I saw in google.My DECEPTION! !!!! Was: IT WAS CLOSED!!!.They do not care about peoples only to screw you up..!

This is a very difficult courthouse to deal with! For some reason they had a massive lay-off recently of numerous employees, and they dont have anyone to answer their phones. The only way to contact this courthouse is to physically show up there in person. They have an automated phone system you can call into to take care of general traffic issues, but if you cant get anywhere with that, your only option is to drive down to the courthouse and wait in line to talk to the clerks.I live 500 miles away from this courthouse and am fighting a small traffic violation that occurred almost a year ago. Between a mix-up on the officers part in misfiling my ticket, and the wrong information I was given by the clerk, I have never had an opportunity to pay my ticket for the correct amount, they have suspended my license, and more than doubled my total fines. Frustrated doesnt quite capture the way I feel about this specific court! I don’t understand how an agency can get away with fining people, anywhere in the country, hundreds of dollars and fail to have someone able to answer their phones! It is ridiculous!

WOW! Our court system is in shabbles. Got a ticket in Aug., sent in my bail and courtesy notice receipt with the TRIAL BY DECLARATION box clearly marked with an X to the Metro Court 1945 S. Hill St. LA, CA 9007What did the understaffed and undereducated court personnel do. They closed out my case as if I was not going to contest it. So, I tried calling to get some recourse.....futile effort, theres no one there to answer the phones...its all automated. So, in effect, they broke the law, denied me my right to defend myself knowing full well I could not come after them. WHAT A RACKET....so sad that our corrupt government stoops to this level to pick our pockets. SHAME ON YOU!

This is absurd! I cant even pay my ticket online, which is their preferred method since you cant speak to anyone over the phone at the courthouse.The officer clearly didnt write my date of birth correctly on the citation because the system says the date of birth doesnt match the citation #.If youre going to charge people hundred of dollars, you could at least have someone answer a phone for problems that government employees create!!

My review is not for the court but for the info listed on google. It says that the traffic division hours are 5am to 10:30pm. I drove all the way down there after work and the hours are 8am to 4:30pm. Come on google. This is unacceptable.

This place is horrible. I never understand why government services are always the worse with EVERYTHING. From customer service to their damn automated systems. You guys dont help, you just cause us more problems.

Unbelievable. Cannnot get a hold of anyone and I have a ticket on a car I sold. This is the most ridiculous government agency ever.

I have a ticket that says I must appear in court on or before my appearance date. When I try to schedule my court date, which is over two months from now, the online and phone systems only give me options for AFTER the appearance date deadline! Of course I cant get a hold of anyone to discuss the issue, because there is only this broken automated system. Can the Metropolitan Courthouse really not hire a secretary to take calls during business hours even after taking so much of our money? Shheeesshhh.

My experience was different from most on here, Ive been here twice,both times was crowded, but everyone I talked to from the entrance to the judge and the clerk were helpful and polite

Got a ticket for no signal lights. It just happen to break on that specific date... went to court and judge ask me to come back a different date cause he needs to leave early... wtf? what kind of a system do we have?

I am desperately trying to pay a Los Angeles Police Department traffic ticket from Spain and it is not possible. Any method used gives an error. I have tried to pay through the website and over the phone, but it doesnt work. Any advice? Any helpline?
