Adam was awesome with his knowledge of cigars. Great place to smoke for sure. Parking is a bit of a problem. Only a couple of places in the back of the shop. Prices are a bit on the high side, due to the fact of the California taxes. Park on the street and make sure the meter doesnt run out after two hours. Cozy place with limited seating as you can see in the pictures. Ask about their custom blend cigars as well. Lots of choices in the humidor so if youre not sure then ask them for help with your cigar choices.

Highway ROBBERIE. on some cigars. for instance? NUBS. small little cigars $13.00? everywhere else highest retail cost $9. and some other cigars I will not mention? if you dont care about pricing? and just want a cigar. Otherwise the place is great no doubt! friendly service and great staff. BUT I mentioned NUBS? as a starting point for this owner to not over price certain cigars. As well! CERTAINLY not trying to put - v cut in any means as being bad!!

Amazing Lounge. Best one Ive been to so far while visiting LA. They also have the largest selection in their walk-in Humidor. Staff and owner were all nice and gave some good recommendations.

4star for the V Cut Smoke Shop, one missing star for the not so good service. This is actually our last breakfast before fly, the place is cozy, food is worthy and yum. But there is one girl I dont know what happens to her, with a sad and no-patient face, please do not do that to your customer, I mean who do not want a happy morning? Anyway, will be back next time, for the food!

Great lounge

Very very pleasant employee worked there. They close at 8 on sunday and he was very apologetic about having us leave. Really pleasant fellow. Played outside (backgammon) and enjoyed the experience. Will go back.

Walking from Fred Segal, I stumbled upon this place by accident. Best thing of the day!! I met the owner and he explained his approach to the selection in the humidor. I was blown away by the selection of small production hand rolled cigar producers. It was a treasure of great curated cigars all unknown to me and a great sommelier to guide you. For sure it’s a must stop in LA for cigar lovers.

Taz the owner introduced me to the warped cigars and was very friendly taking for my name. If you are on Melrose and want a stogie, set tour GPS for this easy to love spot.

Simply one of the finest shops in the country. The selection is wide and deep; there are no palates this shop cant satisfy. The staff are knowledgable and courteous. The shop and humidor are well-run and clean, the art and ambiance welcoming and most big sporting events draw a large crowd. The one thing that truly sets this shop apart is the clientele and regulars. People from every walk of life are welcome and welcoming at the V. Conversations range from what youre smoking to who won which game and who actually deserved to. From time to time you will get a real and deep conversation. Good people and this is all thanks to Taz, the owner and his family. First rate. Go. Youll never be happier.

This is my new spot in LA. My man Derek gave me a great rundown of the cigar selection and the one I smoked was everything he said it would be. I went alone but I ended up having a 2 hour conversation with a group of guys that were there and we had a great time. Whenever Im in LA Ill be sure to stop in and grab a smoke with Derek and the rest if the patrons.

They carry premium sticks. Knowledgeable about the brands, which is what I like to experience when I go to a cigar lounge. I cant stand the generic, great choice, pair it with a cognac. I just shake my head, knowing Ill never be back to that establishment. Didnt get that at The V Cut cigar lounge.

Large selection, great ambiance, an island of relaxation in the insanity of increasingly (tobacco) smoke-free LA. This family business does it right. Only complaint is that I wish it stayed open later on Sundays.

My most favorite cigar lounge in Southern California . Very nice hospitable and warm atmosphere . A place to relax and have a cigar. Very knowledgable about cigars and Adam and Derrek make appropriate suggestions if you arent sure about what you want to smoke . Highly recommend !

One of the best Tatuaje selections Ive seen in a shop and the staff here was very friendly.Nice and clean shop. Prices can be a little high but thats due to tax.
