I cannot say enough good things about this place! The owner is an absolute delight and he has made this one of my favorite places in Los Angeles in a matter of a single visit. I ordered three different cheeses and he cut up a baguette on the side for me to eat together and sit outside. The food was delicious but the conversation was phenomenal and I came back very quickly because I couldn’t get that mozzarella off my mind. My next visit he was encouraging me to try a sandwich but I was telling him how I honestly only really wanted mozzarella with pesto and he said that’s actually a sandwich that other people eat and he would be happy to make it for me and once again he set up a table outside for me to eat my mozzarella pesto sandwich and I’ve got to say I’m never unimpressed by the kindness and clear commitment to a positive customer experience that he displays. But this time the food was truly the star because that pesto he makes is one of the most fresh and delicious pestos I think exist in any eatery, it’s very unique in it’s flavor and that over the creamy mozzarella was probably the best sandwich I’ve ever had. It’s hard to believe because it’s so simple but it was truly just a beautiful marriage of quality ingredients made with love. If you’ve yet to go to Vromage, make a point to put this as a must see and get a mozzarella pesto sandwich and chat up the owner about his story and how he ended up making cheese. He’s a funny and interesting guy that really made me feel like I had traveled to another place listening to him talk and that’s what I loved most of all. Vromage is a wonderful vegan cheese shop, if not the best vegan cheese shop and I recommend everyone trying it out 😊

Vromage was an absolutely incredible experience! I arrived with my boyfriend for the first time after finding Vromage on Instagram, and WOW!! The owner greeted us and walked us through all the handmade, fresh vegan cheeses he had available for purchase. They all looked SO good, so we purchased almost one of everything! The mozzarella, brie and goat were to die for! The owner was so kind in telling us his story, how he got into the business of making vegan cheeses by hand and how he started his company.The vegan cheese tasted INCREDIBLE! I’m excited to go back this week and get a vegan sandwich/pizza, too!

Youssefs products are amazingly good, you can really tell that he puts a lot of love to his craft. Hes also very friendly and knowledgeable. Excellent service overall. Will definitely come back.

Amazing vegan cheese shop at the top of Sunset Blvd, a must try. There’s a small amount of seating if you want a sandwich in store as we did.

This place advertises as vegan cheese. But its more accurately described as nut paste.Vegan cheese is made with a milk substitute like nuts or soy but this place doesnt just substitute, it replaces completely; which takes away from the experiance of eating cheese.For example, this cheese tastes like nut paste, not the cheese its suppose to impersonate; which is very disappointing.

A revolutionary place with artisan and wonderful vegan cheeses, sold in weight. A highlight for goat type. They also serve sandwiches, I ate one with cheddar which was wonderful. No words.

My partner decided to surprise me by bringing me here and I was totally impressed! We are staying in LA for the weekend and I had no idea a place like this existed. Although they had ran out of sandwiches by the time we got there at 4pm, the owner offered to make us a capresse sandwich which was amazing. A must visit place if you’re vegan and miss cheese (:

It’s a great little vegan cheese shop that also serves things like vegan sandwiches, and vegan pâté (which is absolutely delicious!). You can order online or in store. There’s a good variety of cheeses and they each have their own distinct flavor. The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable, but service can take longer than usual if it’s busy as I think it may just be him working.Personally, I think the price point is on par with non-vegan cheese shops, but if you’re not expecting that you might suffer slight “sticker shock”.

Not worth your money; extremely overpriced products that resemble what vegan substitutes were like in 1995; texture and flavor are disappointing; cheeses that should have very different flavors actually have (apart from spices on top) similar smell, texture and tastes, such as brie and pecorino.

I recently found this incredible place for vegan cheese. I had a post-Thanksgiving party and I brought home the gorgonzola, the basil mozzarella, and the gouda... they were all amazing. The house made crackers that they sell go great with the cheeses. Everyone was really blown away. Im gonna bring this to every holiday party that I go to.

I contemplated giving only one star, but only because I dont want everyone to steal all of my delicious cheese! Im not vegan in the slightest, but I drive an hour just to get this vegan cheese -without complaint. LA traffic and all. It honestly blows my mind each time. Yousef is the sweetest human with an amazing talent. To put it simply, if you want to smile and guarantee yourself at least a few minutes of happiness, come here.

This place is very special. Their vegan cheeses are some of the best Ive ever had: flavorful with great texture. And there are so many types to choose from, including vegan versions of brie, goat cheese, mozzarella, cheddar and blue cheese! The best part is that everything is soy-free: the cheeses are handmade from a variety of nuts and seeds.You have the option of buying cheese on its own, or enjoying it in a salad, on french bread, on crackers, with tomato and olive oil, or as a pizza. Yum!One of my favorite parts of Vromage is the owner - he is incredibly sweet and passionate. He will let you sample any of the cheese and tell you anything you want to know about them.It was a little hard to find when I first went. Look for it in the mini mall across the street from Laugh Factory, on the same side as the big plaza with CB2 and Trader Joes. You can park for free in the lot for up to 20 minutes.

The best dairy-free cheese I’ve had. Got to sample the mozzarella, telaggio, and goat-style cheese. Had the telaggio on a french baguette with tomato, arugula, and olive oil - delicious!

It might be a tiny place, but it has an amazing and wide selection of vegan cheeses. Be sure to ask for samples. Theres a small selection of sandwiches and salads.

I just bought a lot of almond based cheeses!! They are delicious! Most if his samples are cahsew, macadamia, and almond blends. I cannot have cashews so he said he could do a special order!! The owner, Youssef, will do anything to accommodate your allergies!

Amazingly delicious cheeses. Who needs dairy when you can make cruelty cheeses THIS good? You might notice some differences between dairy cheese and vegan cheese, but I can assure you that you WONT be disappointed with Youssefs creations even if youre not vegan (although this might just convert you into becoming one). Youssefs is not only a brilliant cheese artist, hes also a very cool guy! He let us sample all the different varieties of cheese he had available during our visit. My personal favorite is the pepper jack! Try it! And thank Youssef for bringing heavenly vegan cheeses into this world!

Really neat place, but its mainly to buy Vegan cheese, and not a great place for lunch. We made the mistake of planning our lunch here and while we did get a sandwich, I would have rather just purchased cheese and make my own.

I ordered the Cheddar & Pepperjack and had them shipped to the Northeast. Tried the Cheddar first and it was good, but when I tried the Pepperjack......WOW! The pepperjack is better than real cheese. I cannot get enough of it. Youssef is extremely responsive and provides a very high quality vegan cheese. Highly recommend!

I love this place, one of the best that could be in LA!The only cheese that should exist, a cruelty free savoury and tasty cheese.Youssef loves his work and you can see it in his eyes when he talks about it.I would love him to teach me his art so i could go and veganise France with vegan cheeses!!!Pros: cheeses, personnal investment of the owner, cheeses!Cons: a bit pricey maybe (but hardwork has a cost!)
