James was able to answer my call and questions with professionallism. I came to him with a Google Pixel issue and he was able to provide the nessary feedback to really help me make my next decision. He treated me like a human being and really wanted to help my solve my problem instead of treating like another customer. I highly recomend others look for James when going to this store.
Great experience the guy that works there is really helpful. He worked fast to fix my phone. Overall really recommend this place to fix your phones.
Honestly Im not one to go to small place phone repairs, but Im glad I came here. James (I believe was his name) was a great help and overall a nice, genuine individual. I appreciate all the help and quickness to getting my phone fixed. A bit pricey but great quality and service!
My Google Pixel 3 wasnt charging and draining battery quickly. James T addressed the issues and replaced both the battery and Docking USB in the same day! Hes a professional dude whos really looking out for people. I very much appreciate his work. Thank you!
It would have been a higher score, if the employee is not rude and deceptive. Fix my lg phones like every stores. Thire suppliers are lazy and incompetence ! Get your lazy acts together, fix my lg phone !
I must say I was a little apprehensive about coming to this place but once I was there the guy who greeted me made me feel almost like I look at home I love the conversation the professionalism everything was top-notch not only did they fix the screen on my Galaxy Note 20 Ultra they did it in under the quoted time and free of charge thanks to the Samsung factory warranty. I would definitely recommend trying them for your electronic needs not to mention they were faster than using a T and T since it was the same day service and even going directly to the Samsung Experience store they had almost a month wait for an appointment I arrived at this store with no appointment only a phone call verifying if they have the part that is top-notch service thank you very much
The technician, Ebony, and the store manager, Ross, went above and beyond in the name of customer service in multiple ways. Its hard to find truly good customer service in LA, but these people exemplify it
Great service, they didnt have the parts for the phone I brought in so they special order it. Unfortunately the parts they got were broken. But they refunded me and really did try. If you have an iPhone, google, Samsung phone youll have no problem getting it repaired here because they might already have the parts. Long story short new Motorola phones youll have to get them ordered through them and no guarantee theyll get it for you.
Professional shop, timely repairs, & honest owner. I would highly recommend.
Nice personnel, get in fixed in two hours, and fair price. Will def go there again if needed.
This place was super responsive about my inquiries online. They gave me a quote online so I knew what to expect in store. They said that the repair would take an hour, but only took about half the time! They were super friendly and made me feel comfortable about the whole process. I would 100% come again.
James at uBreakiFix was very professional and know exactly what he was talkings about not drop off my broken iPhone on Tuesday and two days later it was fix thanks so much James. I will totally recommend people down your way.
Though they have multiple locations, this downtown location does not feel like a chain or corporation. It feels like a local/neighborhood spot willing to go out of their way to help their clientele. The prices are not excessive either. I’ve been surprised every time I came for a repair.
The service was superb. Had a serious problem with my phone and didn’t know how to fix it- walked in to this fine establishment and my man Ross INSTANTLY solved the problem with no issues in a matter of seconds. Thank you Ross and thank you ubreakifix.
Quick and easy service and repairs that are done nicely for a good price.
Screen repair, out of reach expensive!I feel a responsibility maybe to clarify my statements, after reading so much positive feedback from people in this community. The screen repair for my 2020 Moto g stylus by Motorola, was quoted to me: 200.00, this phone, being last years model, is now available all over the the internet; brand new in box for as little as 150.00.So for my circumstances that made screen repair at 199.00 too expensive. Because I have an inexpensive phone!! If you are the owner of a high-end phone such as a Galaxy s21 ultra or an iPhone 11, Im sure that the screen repair for your phone is probably a good bargain, if you had the mishap of dropping your phone, and breaking your screen. And it appears that this would be a good vendor to use to do that job. Because it seems like they really care about what everybody in the community has to say about their company..........bravo!!!!!
The team here is great ! I was having some screen issues with my iPhone and before even mentioning a price they offered a free consultation to see if they could fix the issue before getting into a repair.
Good service and fast turn around. Samsung s20 ultra screen replaced.
Had to bring my Google Pixel phone back again 6 months after last repair. Website says they open at 9 so I walk over at 9. No one there. A note on the door says they open at 10, so I go for coffee and wait around. At 10, no one there. At 10:15 someone rolls in, says they don’t open till 11, and literally slams the door in my face. I’m done being sent here to these jerks for repairs. There are 2 other repair shops on this street with better reviews, but I literally called an Uber and said take me to the Apple store. after 15 years of resisting, Ubreakifix broke me. I bought an iPhone, and I’m never coming to this chain again.
Great customer service. Brought in my Samsung Galaxy S9 for a cracked screen, and they replaced the glass screen, the screen itself, and the battery all for the price of the glass screen replacement estimate! Chris was especially nice, as was the individual who initially checked me in (I did not catch his name).
This place is perfect, fast and simple. Had the screen (digitizer) replaced due to the phone been ran over by vehicle and couldnt be more happier with the results, just read the signs posted on the door and wait for your turn...... easy.Authentic replacement parts installed and phone runs great again, Also try to pay in advance so you can just skip the line if any just to pick up real quick.
Made an appointment for pasadena store 2 days ago. Day of they call and say: sorry, we dont have the parts but you can go downtown. So I make an appointment for downtown for Monday (todays Friday). They call me and say, we have the parts come today. Great! Show up and guess what- we dont have the parts. Come back Tuesday. So, come here if you want the runaround and a gross storefront with broken displays, missing parts, and an overall junky college dorm room feeling.
Thank you Ross for helping me out ! This is a great place love it ☺️
Excellent service.
My oneplus 3t got switched off and was unable to power on due to some damage in power key. The volume keys were also damaged and so couldnt get it on or reboot by any other means. I took it to these guys and they helped me to get it switched on without costing me a penny.Thankyou guys! U r the best!
Easy fix it service no long extended waiting time. I will definitely go there for phone fix lowest costsGreat deal ! Half costs by comparison
I dropped my phone and broke the screen at 6:30 pm on Friday. The phone screen wouldnt work so I was devastated. I needed my phone for work and I couldnt find anyone to fix my phone, same day, on a Friday night during the COVID-19 crisis except for Ross and Chris. Ross at UBreakIFix was kind enough to assist me with the repair, without an appointment, 30min prior to closing time. They could have easily turned me away but they didnt. They were able to fix it in about 15 minutes. My phone works just like a brand-new one. I am so greatful for their exceptional service and professionalism. As for the location, it was kind of tricky to get here. Its next door to Jersey Mikes, hidden under a huge high-rise building. There is no free parking. I was lucky enough to find street parking on Hope street going for $4/hour. It was very challenging to find street parking. The surrounding parking lots are even pricier (~$3.50/ 10min or $6 all night, after 4pm etc.)
Excellent experience good work.
My Son locked himself out of his new phone, by forgetting his password. A 51 Samsung!!! We went back to Best Buy where he purchased the phone for $400 to the geek squad, and they had no clue as to how to help him. (Geeks for sure! Lol). So we searched and after finding a few other places that did not know how to unlock this phone, mind you they are Samsung dealers duhhhh! Then we called U break I fix, told us to come in and he would see if he could help us! But was pretty sure he could! And WAHLAH! Yup he unlocked the phone, and didn’t even want to charge us it was so simple. Oh yeah! The phone was on airplane mode the whole time... So we are very thankful Ana I would take all me devices there. Very pleased with there business.
The person who assisted me was helpful.
Highly efficient technicians. Quick ans easy service.
The techs were very nice, helpful, and did their job.
We have used uBreakiFix many times and have always had excellent service! Scott and his crew are electronics masters and can fix anything we bring to them. Excellent service and reasonable pricing is what you can expect. Keep up the good work guys!
Smith is amazing. I have reoccurring issues with my right ankle. Soccer injuries, torn ligament and sprains.. of course its always the same side! Smith massaged out the scar tissue. Yes, I was screaming. But after two visits, I felt brand new. I am confident Smiths techniques helped my recovery. I would start with 30 min sessions because they are so intense. But so worth it!!!!
I was referred by my insurance to this place and the people here are professional and provide you with the facts. They are constantly busy but if you are the customer they are attending to, they ensure they are finished with you before going to the next person. There is a wait, but the waite is worthwhile.
Polite staff but unwilling to assist me on a Google pixel warranty repair apparently due to the complexity of the phone and their fear of liability should they damage it in the process of repair. I blame Google, not this retailer for waisting so much of my time today. Reply to reply: I ended up spending nearly three hours on the phone with Google after this and theyre resolution was to do absolutely nothing so no Im not going to bother calling you because Google wasted far too much of my damn time!
Extremely helpful, professional, and knowledgeable. They fixed the back glass on my Samsung Galaxy S10 in less than 2 hours, and the final price of the repair was actually less than the original quote! Very happy with my experience.
I called ahead of my store visit, on flower St in downtown Los Angeles, because other local stores were closed due to covid19. The person on the phone was polite and mentioned repairs typically take 4 hours for a device like mine, a pixel 4xl with a usb c connection issue. This was to be a warranty repair which was confirmed on the phone. All good so far.I arrive at the store and wait over an hour with only one person ahead of me. So much for a simple drop off as I called ahead. Once I reached the counter to speak with the representative, explained the issue and prompt on my phone, I was told thats not what the prompt says on these phones. Okay, so now I show the prompt, that I was reading on my phone, and confirmed they were wrong. Theres some customer service for you. The person then informed me they would need to wipe all data from the phone before they would take it in to fix my USB port, under warranty remember. Wipe all my data, why? I ask because that really is unnecessary. Store owner policy, I was told. Even though my data is all backed up, that is just absurd and leaves me with a lot of work after they perform what should be a quick fix. I asked for my phone back and left. This was an utter waste of time and something they should say over the phone to warn possible customers. Needless to say, I will not be a customer of this store in Los Angeles. No thank you!
I dropped my phone a while back leaving two sprayed cracks over the screen. I was told that a local iPhone repair service was a better and more affordable option as opposed to the Apple store. I scheduled my appointment with uBreakiFix at a convenient time and place for me. A repair men was waiting for me at Stonestown. He fixed my phone in 20 minutes. I would highly recommend this service to anyone in need of a new screen repair.
Was referred to UBIF by Google as an authorized repair center. There are limited locations open right now with COVID shutdowns, so made an appointment on the website for the downtown location at exactly the time they opened.I arrived on time, there was a single employee serving customers and I had to wait in line regardless having made an appointment. Fine. When I finally made it to the desk I was told that their backlog for the day was so high that they werent taking any repairs that werent covered under an insurance plan. I dont know how they were already inundated with jobs 15 minutes after opening or why insurance repairs take priority over warranty repairs or why their website was accepting appointments that they couldnt honor. Making an appointment seems to be a totally unnecessary step anyway since people are served in the order they walk-up.The gentleman at the desk was certainly nice and professional, and I understand that they were trying to avoid taking repairs they couldnt commit to finishing same day. But having made an appointment it seems like they could have notified me of this BEFORE I drove out of my way to get there, paid to park, waited in line, and then had to drive to another location, further wasting my time. This location seem like they have more work than they can handle, and parking in the area is difficult and expensive. I ended up using the Koreatown location which was a 1000% better experience.
I been here before, good store! Just keep in mind youre in downtown LA parking is a hassle
Great work
Very professional and a quick service!! Prices are Very reasonable. C u guys in a couple of months!!
Awesome staff at the DTLA location. They were able to help me right away, and were true professionals. Definitely would recommend!
Terrible service! Took it in after by screen had small crack. The location was the preferred vendor for AT&T, but instead of fixing my iPhone screen, they wasted an hour of my time and when I returned they said the the insurance company sent the wrong screen! How does that even happen? When I asked if they had the right they said yes, but you would have to pay. Mind you, I have insurance and have been paying my carrier just in cases if situations like this. I checked my iPhone and my screen was worst off then before, major cracks and missing glass. In addition the screen was flickering and my sissies wasn’t working...maybe they should change their name to YoubreakWedestroy! Do yourself a favor and go to Apple, at least they know what they are doing.
I went to this store today because last night I dropped my phone and the screen cracked. I was helped immediately by James who was sincere, helpful, and efficient. There was standard pricing for the screen for my phone. So not only did I get my phone fixed for good pricing within 20 minutes, but he also fixed it to make the sound clearer and made sure everything was taken care of. I hate being without my phone (even lunch without it was difficult) but was able to get my phone fixed as efficiently and quickly as humanly possible. I recommend without any concerns. Couldnt be more pleased.
I was referred to uBreakIFix by Samsung for warranty work on my Note 10. The wireless charging no longer works. I explained the issue they then took my phone in back to test it. After about 20 minutes he came back out and said they ran diagnostics on it, that reported the problem is with the main board. however they did not fix it because they didnt have the parts. If this is a Samsung service center shouldnt they have parts in stock for current devices? Waste of time and phone still broken.
The management is very sleazy. They posted a job listing availability on their website. I responded and they told me to come down for an interview. It was more than an hour drive. I came in, they took their time. There werent many employees, I felt like I had really surprised them with my presence. I went in for the interview, the manager praised my resume as the rest of his employees could hear through the wall in the next room. He praised the fact that I had all of the correct experience with even the newest models, while his employees could hear through the wall. He viewed the copy of my University of California college diploma and said something like this doesnt look real. Are you sure this is real?, as he pointed to the emblem at the bottom. It was a black and white copy of my diploma. I told him I have my actual diploma framed at home but if he wanted me to, I could bring it in at a later date but he told me that wouldnt be necessary. He made it seem like I was trying to show him a fake diploma along with the fake thousands of dollars I owe in tuition bills. He saw my address and said something like oh darn, we are only hiring for the LA office unfortunately. I told him it wouldnt be a problem since I could carpool with family. It was blatantly obvious he invited me for an interview with no intention of hiring me and every intention of saving money while screwing over his own employees. The whole interview process seemed shady. Its exactly the kind of company I would avoid working for or use for their services. Even though I was overqualified, willing to take the low wages, and willing to make the drive, I never received a call back. Just to go through all of the effort, buying new interview clothes, redoing my resume, arriving early, renting a car to drive to the interview, all so that he could stage a show for his employees.
My phone was losing battery life like water out of a bucket with a softball sized hole. After fruitlessly searching for answers (wi-fi left on, too many open apps, etc.) I realized I needed a new battery. Took it in, and in two hours my phone was working like new. They are usually faster, but I didnt make an appointment. I just dropped in, which worked out fine. I was in downtown LA and I used the time to get some lunch and walk the neighborhoods. It is fast, affordable, and professional. I was concerned that some stuff in my phone may be lost, and was assured it would be fine. Also wanted know if he needed my access code, and was told because of privacy concerns he works with the phone off. A great experience. If you need repairs you cant do better than here.
Good work on my samsung devices, they wont charge you for repairs if they dont have to.
It was a nice and courteous service, related 2 my phone. This has been the first time.
Fixed my Samsung S9 screen after I had smashed it with my car trunk. price was cheaper than best buy . walked in and took only a few hours also fixed my iPhone I couldnt charge it, turns out it was just dusty . Parking meters are in the surrounding areas they even hooked me up with some quarters, awesome service
Amazing place for repairs. The work they do is high quality. I had my Note8 fixed here, Ive repaired phones for family and friends so I can tell when a repair was done well. This is the place you want to go for sure.
Great service get ur phone back on the same day
Great help from Ross and all the other guys! Amazing! ThanksA
Screen damage interrupted lighting and I could not see anything. Screen was fixed, extra charge was not disclosed. It was added but they removed it after I mentioned that they had not told me about this special fee when I asked for the price. I find hidden fees to be dishonest and most likely will not return. There was no apology, he just removed the fee from the final bill. If it is a standard fee then just include it in the price. The fee is for the kit to seal your phone after opening it up. Samsung called and asked me about the service and I mentioned this to them. Outside of that, the actual phone screen was repaired. The reason I chose them was their vicinity to my job, and there were various locations. I was going out of town and would not be able to get it fixed before I left as well as my repair place closes before I can get there in the evening.
Great customer service, and quick-extreamly fast turn around!!!
Very efficient!! Took my phone in and it’s good as new and it took less than half an hour. Anthony and Hector helped me, and they were great and really helpful.
I got my note 8 fixed a year ago and noticed there was wire sticking out from the bottom. Then the phone turned off the moment it got wet. I hope they seal it properly this time since Im going for my note 9 now
These guys are awesome. They work quickly, can identify the problem, and will end up saving you money. They fixed the power port on my phone after Apple told me that it was a part that could not be replaced.
I was carrying my phone in its heavy metal charger... with a lot of other things in my hands... and Bam! I dropped my phone face down and it not only cracked my screen protector but my screen, too!AT&T charged me $40 for another screen protector but couldnt fix the screen...So I headed to ubreak i fix center... and not only did they fix my screen but threw in a free screen protector!
Great place to get your phone fixed. Great service and very helpful with phones. Fixed my Samsung in a couple of day but is worth the wait for a great fix.
Amazing crew and so helpfull
I used the downtown LA location to bring my Samsung S9 phone under warranty for a camera issue, they advised if they needed parts they would have to order them. Took about two hours for me to get my phone back, unfortunately they could not figure the issue with the camera and told me it may be a software type issue. No charge for the visit as they are an authorized service provider for Samsung.
I came in to fix my iPhone 6s+ done in 15 minuets super friendly honest great service thanks for everything.
Such a great experience! Fast and extremely friendly service! I will definitely be recommending uBreakiFix to all my friends and family :)
I went to fix my samsung S9 screen my repair was done in a timely manner helped me out with questions I had great place to fix your broken device
Prices are good, time to fix is very fast. Had a good experience. Thanks
Very honest staff. I thought my phones charging port needed to get replaced. They took a look at it and told me it only needed a deep cleaning. Problem fixed, thank you!
The costumer service is bad. Told me to come back in two hours and made me wait for another one.
I WENT IN TO FIX THE SCREEN ON MY IPHONE 8 PLUS, UNFORTUNATELY AFTER FIXING THE SCREEN, THE FRONT CAMERA WASNT WORKING. AFTER TRYING FOR A FEW DAYS, IT BECAME OBVIOUS THAT THERE WAS NO WAY OF FIXING IT. BUT THE GUYS WERE SUPER PROFESSIONAL AND HELPFUL AND WANTED TO HELP ME GET A REPLACEMENT PHONE AND IM GRATEFUL THEM FOR TAKING RESPONSIBILITY WITH MAXIMUM PREOFESSIONALISM AND MAKING SURE I AM HAPPY AT THE END OF ALL THE PROBLEMS.
They have good customer service and quality workmanship. However, I cant give them five stars because I feel the pricing is too high.
Theyll diagnose for free before quoting you a repair, a staple of any good repair shop. Often times it may be something as simple as cleaning a charging port, which theyll often just give a quick scrape clean and give it back to you a minute later at no cost.
They are the best .they did a good job on my phone .thank you guys .plus good service.Sincerely; mikemetalmarcial.Lead guitarist de ; GÜIDO DE AREZZO.
I shop around and they had the best price.Good and very quick service
They are very knowledgeable, great customer service
If you need to get your phone fixed, I highly recommend uBreakiFix! Make sure you bring cash since they are cash-only.
Would recommend this place! Amazimg service and clean work
This store is full of liars. I called them asking if they could fix a Canadian phone under Canadian warranty, an employee told me yes and to bring the phone. Went to the store and not only did they tell me they couldnt fix it but that no one had ever spoken to me. The call was in their call log though, so somebody definitely did speak to me and lied about it. And nobody apologized about the the mistake or the terrible service. It costed me nearly $100 to get there and back. Sleazy indeed.
Very professional service! Extremely easy and fast!
Great service experience. Real fast and efficient.
Went in with a screen repair and everything was done great and ready in couple hours. Only thing is the parking.
Under 20 to fix my phones screen and add tempered glass. Price adequate. Likely use the place again knowing my skills breaking phones.
They got my phone done with in 30min The guys here are awesome
Great screen fix for a good price, fast
Theyre just the best. Great prices and original replacement parts
Fast and friendly service. Definitely recommend it.
Quick fix under 1 hour-make sure to call first!
Very unpleasant employees. Seemed like they didnt want to take the job and wanted to turn me away. Had to force the issue to have them look at the phone. Lazy at best.
The people who work there are very helpful.
Nice Samsung Repair center. I had a cracked galaxy s8+ and repair price was my least concern. I was more concerned about keeping water resistance after the repair. This store is one of the few authorized Samsung repair centers in southern California. I took the metro train to this shop, dropped off my phone at the shop and they said it would take 2 hours but I got it back in an hour and a half. (I dont know how long they took to repair my phone since I was killing time at a café just down the street and decided to check up on the repair earlier) They even replaced the battery without me asking them which was really convinent. The staff is also friendly and professional
They sold me my own hard drive and told me my motherboard crashed. I paid $110 and turns out they just took my hard drive out of my computer and sold it back to me. This place is a total scam. Stay far away.
Had the screen of my Pixel 2XL replaced here. It was pretty fast and they did a great job
I brought my phone here and less than 2hrs of phone was fix employees are very helpful if they dont have the part they order it asap customer service is excellent defennaly coming back when I break my phone again lol
I didnt get his name, but the gentlemen who helped me repair my iPhone was extremely helpful. I will be returning here for all future repair needs. And although I didnt have the screen replaced- their prices are very reasonable.
Frendly efficient fix my phone in 2 hours
Great place to have your phone fix.
Downtown store was looted store has been close.
Excellent service. Hooked me up in a jiffy
They seem to be responsible for good reputation.
