THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE DOING!!! Absolutely under no circumstance take anything to be repaired here. I took my daughter’s Mac for repair.. paid $69 for them to look at it.They called me and said the mother board has died and wanted to charge $700 to fix it. When I declined he called and said he will do it for $500. I declined and said I will take it to the Mac store when they open back up.The Mac store called me and said in all their years they have never seen a third party reassemble a Mac this way.. everything was missing, no screws, nothing reconnected correctly.These people are absolutely incompetent and/or have zero ethical integrity! Stay away.

Thank you CompuMax! My 2011 Mac is now like a new computer! My Mac wasnt turning on so I brought it in to CompuMax. My motherboard had to be replaced. My hard drive was also about to crash so I had that replaced to. For a great price my computer is totally refurbished. CompuMax guys were great. They were super helpful and their prices are very fair. When I couldnt locate my old software key codes to reinstall on the computer, they helped me transfer everything from the old hard drive so I wouldnt lose anything. They also cleaned my computer. Unprofessional and unfriendly staff. I took my PC there to fix a problem and after working on it for 3 days and not being able to fix the problem, they charged me for $55 FOR DOING NOTHING. I took my PC to another place and they fixed it in half an hour without charging me for anything.

Navid Hakakian is great because he explains the problems with your computer very well, tells you the least expensive options as well as other solutions that may be more expensive but he doesnt push you trying to sell you the more expensive option. He told me about a warranty regarding the new laptop screen that I bought. I noticed when I got home a little red speck on the screen. When I told Navid, he explained that the manufactures dont consider that a problem to be a big deal because the screens will often have such specks and people usually dont care. Navid, however, said that I could bring it in and hed change it without trying to convince me to live with the problem. I was also impressed that he offered to do this because my particular laptop, as I saw from watching him change the screen, a more difficult way of inserting a new screen than most lap tops. An example of this difficulty is that he had to use an instrument to peel off this strip that was tightly glued to the computer. He was careful not to destroy the this piece as he slowly worked on getting it off to screw the screen in. He then used something to re-adhere the strip back to my computer. This strip was crinkled but he worked as best he could to get out the creases. Now getting a new screen will require him to do all this hard work again. I had called him about the red speck on my screen a few days after I saw it so he remembered how difficult it was and still didnt fuss about me taking it back.There are other instances I could write about what excellent service you will get there. All in all, Navid is trustworthy, helpful, and knowledgeable.
