Upon deciding to have new blinds installed in our living room, my wife did a search for a company which would accommodate our zip code, as we live in Santa Monica. The first company she found was Home Carpet & Window Treatments. Fate gave us the right people for the right job. We have since used them again and couldn’t be happier. Their representative came to our home, did an assessment on the type of windows we have, showed us the various styles we might want and gave us a great price on the product and installation. That was followed by a phone call from the service technician who asked US what was the best day and time for him to come for the installation. He, in turn, was prompt and extremely professional.I have to add one more note on both of our experiences with Home Carpet & Window Treatments. While the quality of their merchandise is excellent, the character of their customer service surpasses the products they provide. George, the owner was so nice & helpful. From the initial meeting, he was very knowledgeable and educated, especially with roller shades w/side channels for complete blackout. I do not know another company that can do this and give you the complete blackout they promise to and I have been through this many times. He answered all my questions honestly and listened to my concerns. If you want knowledge, experience and get you you ask for they are 100% the company to go with.

Recently dropped into the store and met George, who walked my wife & I through the maze of window dressings. He also made a visit to our home (25 miles) to measure and suggest the proper Hunter Douglas blinds and shades that fit our particular situations and took measurements. Once pricing was out of the way and the order placed, the blinds were ready in less than 2 weeks. Their installer, Mark, was right on time, friendly, professional, and quickly installing the blinds, carefully making any requested adjustments. We will be back.
