As always John Shaw has provided superior service. He communicates clearly everything that needs to be done on our car with no confusion. Everyone is pleasant and the waiting rooms appear to be wiped down/sanitized. Although we live in Los Angeles...traveling to Keyes in Van Nuys is worth the trip. Excellent Service for 5 years now.
The service department has the WORST communication and customer service. After getting my car serviced last Friday, my car was returned to me in good condition and with the key in the ignition. I noticed nothing odd at the moment so I happily drove it home. However, when I finally reached home and took my key out of the ignition to lock my car, I noticed my key was SEVERELY DAMAGED (picture shown below). One of the buttons (the lock button) on my key was completely dug out and unusable. Now Im unable to lock my car using the button.I called the service department IMMEDIATELY when I first reached home that Friday and told them about the situation and requested them to replace my key. My service advisor, Tiffany Baker, said they would call back on Monday after speaking with the manager and the service technician to find out what happened. I never received a call back. I called again on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday and each time I was told that the manager and my service advisor was busy atm, but they would call me back as soon possible. I never received a call back.Today is Thursday, and I have still not received any communication from the service department about my key replacement. Therefore I will be filing a complaint directly with Hyundai about this dealerships HORRIBLE management and communication. Im very unhappy with how Ive been treated and ignored by the service department, therefore I DO NOT RECOMMEND getting your car serviced here. The management is unreliable and the workers do not care enough to properly attend to their customers. Please save yourself the trouble and visit another dealership.
Always awesome. The entire process1. Purchase a vehicle2. Maintain a vehicleLatherRinseRepeat
My service writer for my 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe Limited was Aaron Burkhard. At Hyundai, he delivers BMW-level service. If you are fortunate enough to work with him as your service writer, you will not feel rushed or treated like a number.Once again, Aaron, I want to express my gratitude for providing me with such an incredible experience. Thanks,Edward R
So I was driving my Hyundai Sonata over the Sierra Mountains from Reno to Sacramento smiling from ear to ear! I Love my car! This is the 2nd Sonata I purchased from Keyes Hyundai in Van Nuys since 2015. I never wrote a review after all of he years, yet I am SO HAPPY with all of my dealings with the staff, but more importantly the quality and value of this car! I got a great price compared to other brands and their sedans, you cannot go wrong with a Hyundai! I live in Sacramento, yet I went all the way to So Cal to this dealer on a recommendation from a friend! I am so happy I did, they treat me like a king, and I will continue to do business here! Recently I purchased a Sonata for my daughters 1st car. As a father I know she has a safe, reliable car! Thank you Keyes!
I have been to many Hyundais to get my car serviced and Keyes is definitely the best. I have already had my car worked on twice there and each time was smooth sailing. Anthony from the service department is always helpful and puts his clients first. I appreciate the hospitality there. Would highly recommend.
Samuel was great. Got me into my first EV. Was super product-informative. Never felt like I was being sold to. Seems to really care. Has followed up and helped me out post-sale.Taimur gave me great advice about selling my previous car. I appreciated his directness.Richard was helpful walking me through the financial part.Great team!
Our car shopping experience at Keyes Hyundai was great. The sales person, Edmounds customer service was spectacular. Hes very professional, patient and knowledgeable. The sales manager, Tim was courteous, kind and went out of his way to ensure that all our questions and concerns were being addressed. Having been a loyal Mercedes Benz customer for the past 17 years and having driven multiple Benz models and series, I would have never imagined how pleased and impressed I would be driving a Hyundai. I gladly share that I absolutely love my Hyundai Palisade. Thank You, Edmound and Keyes Hyundai team
We have leased from this Hyundai dealership 2x now. Our first lease was through Jordan (who is no longer with Keyes) and recently worked with Mauricio! He is great and has a very kind, knowledgable demeanor. He helped my fiance and I get an extremely fair lease on a 2022 Hyundai Elantra. Given the market and supply shortages we were very considerate of price and are extremely happy with our deal!! Thanks so much Mauricio - see you in 3 years
I came in this past Saturday for a routine oil/filter change and tire rotation. The service was fine except for two items:1. This time and the last time I asked (online when I filled out the form) for a FULL synthetic oil change and didnt receive it (I got the partial synthetic oil). I decided last time to upgrade to this as I feel its probably better for the wear & tear on my Accent. Here is the proof that I asked for it (cut/pasted from my email):Maintenance Services:Synthetic Motor Oil UpgradeTire RotationI dont understand why they keep ignoring what I ask for.2. I waited about 1 1/2 hours which would have been okay EXCEPT for the fact that I decided to get up from the waiting room and walk around. I noticed an Accent sitting in the exit lane from the dealership. I walked closer and realized it was mine. There were a few other cars behind mine, which makes me question how long mine was sitting. The service rep apologized stating, They put your paperwork in the wrong place. Now, I understand that mistakes happen regarding the paperwork, but isnt it to their advantage to get people in/out as quickly as possible so that they will return? And regarding the oil, its more expensive for full synthetic, so theyve now missed the opportunity not once, but TWICE to make more money off of me (not to mention, Im trying to take good care of my car).Neither of these are what I would call a MAJOR issue, but in the case of the oil, I didnt get what I asked for (again...TWICE) and regarding the delay in leaving, my time is valuable and I dont like it to be wasted.
Dont even know where to start. First of all, getting an honest, straight forward estimate of a cars price without going there in person was close to impossible. They also advertise with great deals online but once you actually get there in person those deals suddenly dont exist anymore because of the current situation. I get it but... why would you falsely advertise them on you website then? The salesman tried everything in the salesmen playbook, lying at every corner. Yes, there is a markup due to the chip shortage, no problem. The funny thing is the salesman first explained that just to say 10min later: well, we actually dont do our mark up because of the chip shortage! we are not affected by it. It is only because we sell sooo many cars that we cant keep up. What?... so Hyundai Keyes is for some reason immune to what is happening in the entire world? Some very strange way of trying to hype up the dealership. Then trying to rush me into a credit check without even asking if I want to go forward... that was the moment where I turned around and said good bye to this dealership.I understand that the job of a car dealership/salesman is to sell cars. But at least you could be honest and straight forward about it.
Service was great. Aaron Burkhard did a great job, was super knowledgeable and willing to help with any questions I had. Will definitely be requested him next time Im there.
Normally dont do reviews. But after the last couple months Ive had. I felt this was needed. After searching for a car, and getting the run around with pricing and inventory being available. I always ended up disappointed. Finally went to Keyes and the not only was the pricing and inventory great. But the service was top notch. Want to thank Brian the GM, and Carl Fisher the salesperson for being so patient with me. Highly recommend them for any car needs. Had a great experience!
John Shaw was great. In and out with no nonsense.
Unfortunately, Im changing the review from 5 to 1 star. We have leased a second car here and now I can only put 1 star. They are selling cars with defective tires! Already two tires began to lose air through the nipple. And thats in a car with less than 7000 miles! The first time I believed this dealer it was a puncture and it cost me $150. Now I have checked - if I wrap the nipple with food film, the air loss is reduced by 3-4 times. That is, I was deceived with the last tire. Avoid this place!
I came to this location after visiting another Hyundai and let me tell you coming here was such a great experience. The man who helped me was named George and was such an angel being so understanding and helpful. The finance manager Richard was very nice as well. I left so happy and grateful leaving with the car I wanted, thanks for all your help Hyundai Van Nuys!
Nice try, Hyundai. I wanted to give them the car for trade in and they tried to lower the price for me by more than 6 thousand dollars.P.S. When I tried to leave, the manager ran up to me and tried to give a more adequate price to my old car, but it was still well below the market price, lol
Most painless car purchase Ive ever experienced. Found the car on their website and less than two hours from test drive to ownership, on my terms. Thanks, Ruby and the team at Keyes.
As always was very pleased with my experience at Keys Hyundai service center. Dropped my car with appointment, was offered to stay at the waiting room, with complementary coffee or tea. Hour and a half later got call that car was ready. Ten minutes later was on my way home.
Working with the people in the Keyes Hyundai Service Dept. is a first class experience. Theres never a problem scheduling. The work is always done right and efficiently. In over 16 years Ive never had to return to complain or have something redone. The staff are all super knowledgeable and nice. YOu wont ever find a better place to service your vehicle.
Don’t bother emailing this dealership, they won’t give you price estimates. They either ghost you when asked for a price quote or they send “don’t waste my time” emails. There’s a $7,500 mark up on their cars
I just leased a 2022 Santa Fe Limited from Chaz Johnson and Brian Sobel. They made the experience painless. Both the sales effort and the terms could not have been better. I highly recommend the dealership and those who helped me.
Pretty bummed. The team here was great when I bought my car but service has been poor since. I get an email at least once a week asking to trade in my car...if I tell them Id be open to discussing they never call...and then the person emails me again asking if I want to discuss it. Annoying. As for the service department, I just had my car in for recalls, specifically battery issues on my electric vehicle, but also for general service. They had my car for two months with no offer of a loaner or any other assistance. When I finally did get it back the car was filthy inside and out, my iphone charging cord was broken, my fluids were not topped off and no one was even willing to talk me through what had been done to the car. It was really more of a vibe of get your car off our lot ASAP.Really disappointed in this as I thought the team here was going to be great...but cant recommend working with them based on this past experience.
I have purchased several cars are the various Keyes dealerships over the years, and have always had a positive experience. This was my best experience yet. During this car shortage, it seemed that all the other local dealerships are adding huge markups over MSRP. The internet sales specialist at Keyes managed to find the exact car I needed, and got his manager to approve a very reasonable price. We dashed in and I drove off with my new Kona Electric less than two hours later. It was a great experience during a VERY difficult time when it comes to buying a car.
I understand the market is generally marking up but before I visited, they indicated to me that there was no markup on the MSRP. I show up, I’m excited because even the sticker price doesn’t have a markup. Salesperson tells me there’s an “implied” markup on every vehicle and the sticker price is not accurate. This is bad and almost illegal practice. Other dealerships are marking up but are showing it on the sticker at least. Sales person made zero attempt to even sell or even open a car for me to look at . Waste of time.
This is the most disgusting car dealership I have ever spoken to. They flat out told me they are adding a $7500 markup to the car I want to buy and won’t honor the special that Hyundai is offering because of demand. Absolutely ridiculous. When I said that was an unfair practice, this dude said “ma’am we sell 400 cars a month” as if to justify their price gouging. Do not buy from them. Taking advantage of their customers is unfair. When supply comes back, this place will pay for being shady.
Got our new Kona at Keyes. Went to several other dealers first, but they were the last. Got us the car we wanted, for the price we could afford. Service was amazing. Ama. ZING. They were honest with they could do and what they couldnt so we didnt waste another afternoon trying to make a deal that would never happen. Next car. Keyes first.
My husband and I have been searching for a car the last 2 Months. Carlo H was the best dealer we encountered during this time. Extremely nice and professional. Even when he was talking to his coworkers, he was polite and professional, which is something rare to see in this world. We got the exact car we wanted. I even gave him the wrong vin# and he reached out to me with “are you sure this is it? Because I remember you wanted the grey one” sure enough, he was right. I wanted the grey one.
Quality 👍🏽Yes they do take long sometimes on the weekends but hey that is a good sign to show they are busy. They always communicate everything they do and with covid you feel safe 👍🏽
Anthony in the service department was great. Most of the issues I came in with were fixed in a timely manner. The experience from start to finish was better than any dealership Ive dealt with. AAA rating.
Josh in servicr department was super helpful and if smthn happens ill come to him again
I had a great experience leasing my new Kona EV from Keyes Hyundai. Edmound was helpful and willing to find the deals I was looking for. This was my first dealership experience, and I was pleasantly surprised
We had a great experience. Ask for Carl. He helped us. No pressure. Felt very comfortable. I would definitely recommend him. They had a great selection. I got the exact car I wanted!!!!
Gotta say, I had one of THE best buying experiences EVER at Keyes Hyundai. From the test drive through signing and pick-up, it was probably the easiest and fastest car purchases Ive had.Faisal (salesman) new his stuff and had a can do, no pressure attitude. His supervisor Tim (I hope I got his name right) worked with me to get the best possible deal, and Imraz in finance was knowledgeable and made the actual signing part a breeze.Overall, these three guys made the entire process quick and easy. I highly recommend.Oh, and the Santa Fe... Im way impressed. 🥳
My experience is not applicable to the entire dealership departments. Sales for example was great (hence 2 💫) but service was not especially with regards to communication. They hardly provide updates and you just have to keep calling and calling and calling. A receptionist that I spoke with this morning was rude. I expressed my frustration that service told me they will call back last time but no response. She literally said there is nothing I can do about that. I mean how do you even treat customers like that? This is not free service. We paid when we bought cars from you.... We pay insurance to pay you when cars break down. Customers should be treated with some dignity and respect. I must say though that whenever things get to the manager, he does everything in his capacity to make it right. I just wish this can trickle down to others especially those that make first contact with customers.
Special thanks to my service manager Aaron Burkhard. Been to plenty of Hyundai dealerships before and been lied to and had prices jacked up but Aaron has consistently been honest, helpful, and adamant about solving my vehicles problems. Very happy with my experience here, 10/10
After 8 hrs of picking up my brand new Hyundai Nexo Sun am, I found that the control board in the middle cracked open. I took the car in Mon am and spoke to the general manager. Fortunately, it was not any major problem, but by a mistake during vehicle inspection, which left a clip that was not supposed to be there. Secondly, I was entitled for a first full tank free by default, so they would reimburse me for the first receipt. I submitted it 4 weeks ago (sent 3 emails and two phone calls by now), no reimbursement yet. Thirdly, since a hydrogen car is a new kind of car for most people, i think the sales people should understand it better than what I saw at this dealer shop. For example, until we took the car in the 2nd time with an issue, we were not explained about what kind of hydrogen gas (35 or 70) the car needs, whats the maintenance plan, self-parking function etc.
I have been a Hyundai owner for over 18 years. My son and I have been taking our cars to Keyes Hyundai and have always received great service. I had 1 incident which was addressed quickly and efficiently. I would recommend Keyes Hyundai for your service needs.
I took my car in to fix my AC, and Anthony was my service advisor. WOW! Outstanding service. Beyond any experience I have ever had at any dealership or auto shop. He was friendly, attentive, honest, and helped me navigate some expensive issues I had to repair from my broken condenser. His customer service care deserves a gold medal!! Thank you Anthony for taking good care of me and my car. This Hyundai location got so much better when he joined their team. I will absolutely be back for all of my Hyundai needs :)
Buying a car at Keyes Hyundai was truly a pleasant experience (and buying a car is almost always not a pleasant experience). The people at Keyes Hyundai made promises by phone about how the price of the new car would be calculated, what the experience would be like and their ability to get the car we wanted, and they carried out all three promises flawlessly. No high pressure, no haggling, just courtesy. What a pleasure. When it took a little longer to get the car, because they had to dealer trade for it, they assured us that they would get the car we wanted and they delivered the car to our home and provided us with a detailed lesson on how everything worked. I highly recommend Keyes Hyundai.
Had a problem with the AC Condenser, Anthony Zabala and Aaron Burkhard delivered exactly as promised. My Tucson had to be kept overnight and I was offered a loaner car, the following day it was ready. Excellent service!
Buying was easy going, Ulysses was very professional and ensured all my concerns were addressed and taken care of.
Keyes Hyundai is the best. The Sales Manager Albert and Fareed are the best. Fareed helped me to purchase the right vehicle for my budget. The Finance Manager is another great guy who helped me with the finance process. Highly recommend them for your next lease or purchase.
Bought my 2016 Hyundai Elantra from Keyes Hyundai. Been having my Elantra serviced there since January 2016. Great professional service and always a great experience going there. Highly recommend them.
- Made an appointment with an advisor 4 weeks in advance for the 5th recall on my car- Call 2 days prior to said appointment to confirm only to find out it’s not scheduled. Make a new appt.- Show up for the appointment and told the rental car company will pick me up.- 20min later the driver picks 2 of us up only to drive 1.5 blocks down the alley, we should have been told to simply walk.- 45min later my rental car is ready/pulls up but is still full of trash and needs to be cleaned- Receive a text that night that the work is complete and I can retrieve my car the next day @ 8am- Take the rental car back to Midway and walk down to the dealership @ 11a- Informed my work was not complete. The text was an error and told to return to Midway for another rental car- Receive a text that night that the car is done and I can return the next day. Promised it would be complete along with a car wash/vacuum- Return the 2nd rental car the next day and walk to the dealer. Wait 20 minutes to get my car that isn’t cleaned.- Another 25 minutes pass. Finally get my car. Technicians felt it was important to unplug the power cable to my dash cam. This is one of several “experiences” with Keyes Hyundai. Not a fan.
The worst service ever. The door lock and ignition lock were damaged during an attempted car thieft. The car went to the dealer on a Monday. I okayed the two items to be replaced. Received a text message on Thursday that car will be ready the following Monday. Monday I called my service rep. several times with no return call. Wednesday I talked to a service manager and He said car not ready. Finally on Friday I called an said I was picking up my car at 2 PM. I arrived at 2:30 and car still not ready. Waited another half hour. Twelve days at dealer is ridiculous. No actual verbal communication with me is uncalled for. Think twice about doing business at Keyes Hyundai Van Nuys
Had an appointment at noon on Thursday 9-16 and was told that I was going to be given a rental at 4:30 p.m. to leave home in rush hour. Called in, and got on the computer, spoke to the service manager Kevin who then lied to me and told me to be done in 3 hours so I went back in 9-17 for just my simple oil change and a check on antifreeze and now I guess its going to be in the shop for 2 weeks. Worst customer service I have ever dealt except for when Keyes Hyundai on Vermont blew up my engine on my Veloster which took four months to get replaced. Im not having good luck with Keyes.
I had been having a horribly difficult time the past few months dealing with many many empty promises from several dealerships. The night before I was dealt a pretty bad blow at AV Chevy when they misquoted me and didnt give me all of the incentives that were shown on their website. I went home feeling defeated because I had explained to the dealer my financial limits. I found a vehicle on Keyes Hyundai that seemed to be close enough to what I needed, explained my situation and Carl (salesman) went above and beyond to get me into a car that wound up being better suited for me anyway. Quick and painless.
They claimed due to chip shortage they will not quote prices and will not accept advertised pricing. Manager promised to call me back and work on a price with me. Never heard from and left him messages. Finally found Mission Hills Hyundai who were extremely honest. Sold me the car. No bait and switch.
John is absolutely fantastic. He clearly laid out the services that my car needed and helped me determine which could be safely put off for a few months. He explained all of the work that was being done and listed to my questions. Always happy with the customer service when working with John. Thank you!
If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Their service department provided by far the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Brought in my car with less than 15,000 miles on it because the navigation screen stopped working. Was told that they needed to order a replacement part, this was 3 months ago and my vehicle has still yet to be fixed. There was a total lack of communication from the service department, I called the sales advisor, Tiffany Baker who was supposed to be helping me with this. I have called 3 times (and left voicemails) and have yet to reach her or recieve a call back. Fed up with this lack of service I reached out to the service manager and was met with the same response- none at all! So a total 6 calls and voicemails to a very lackluster service team, I am still left with a broken part in my vehicle. With the lease on my car about expire, I am on the market for a new vehicle and will not be back to Keyes Hyundai. I am left astonished by how careless a so called customer service department can be.
Excellent service from John Shaw.... and a warm welcome received from everyone else on your floor. Thanks.
Excellent service on 7-5-2021 on my Elantra. Fast and courteous.A true pleasure having my car serviced at Keyes Hyundai. Will be back for my next scheduled maintenance.
I’m not normally in Van Nuys but I was directed straight there because my battery was going to die, the alternator was broken. My service agent was Aaron, and boy was I lucky. He really hustled for me, He spoke with my husband on the phone -several times. There was a ling wait that day and my situation was sort of unique. Aaron arrange a rental car for me and saved us a ton of money by going the extra mile in PERSONAL customer service. We were really shocked, and pleasantly surprised. Good work!
It was enjoyable experience working with their team. We made the deal over the phone and managed the paper work via email. When I got there everything was ready, sign and drive!Siuzanna Asratian|, internet sale manager was very professional and helpful. She kept the communication line open during the day, stayed late after hours to make sure deal goes through, and explained the car features clearly before I leave the dealership. Thank you Siuzanna.
The Manager, George (the sales rep.) and Richard (Financing) provided help one would expect during the car buying process. Yes, that was the day we bought this Hyundai Kona EV. But we had follow up questions. They gave us business cards with email address, but they wouldnt answer any of my emails. I charged the car up to 100% at home. However, the following day the car went totally dark - it didnt respond to my key, it didnt start. It appears that the 12V battery totally drained for no apparent reason...
This dealership has great employees and management. I had been to several dealerships looking for a car and none of the other dealers seemed to put any effort into what I needed and never called back. So this Hyndai dealership is a win
This dealership was SUPER HELPFUL. I have a 2020 Venue that i purchased in early Feb (2021) and by mid April the transmission was prematurely going/failing. ( Get a warranty, boo)Anyway, my service rep ANTHONY ZABALA was bomb! He was always giving me updates on my car and the important thing was he listened to me and my concerns when I told him my car didnt feel safe and the check engine light hasnt turned on. He took his time trying to help me instead of saying it was fine. I would definitely recommend coming here instead of going to the one in Glendale ( its where I purchased the car).
I had a very good experience with my service. It took under an hour for a check up and oil change. Everyone was very helpful.
We went last sunday, there was a manager, he said he will send someone to help us, then a guy came, his name was faisal islam, he straight way said, that there is a markup price on the top of the original price, which we already know because we went somewhere else too but because we bought all cars from vannays thats why we went there, faisal said on tusan markup price is 10,000 and on elentra i forget what he said about markup price, we asked him again 10,000 he said yes, and he didn’t even ask us to sit and talk. We all were standing and talking. We understand that their is a chip shortage but don’t make people fool, where we went first they said maximum 3000 and this guy said 10,000 😳. If the car price is 30,000 and you charge markup price 10,000 then who gonna buy? At least ask us to sit down and explain us professionally. And we had mood to buy car but 10,000 omg. Don’t take advantage of the situation. He said it’s like homes prices, so let me tell u, with time home prices will up and if you buy car with markup price 10,000 in future car price will be down. Be a good deal who deal with customers professionally. I don’t recommend this Hyundai location to anyone. They are stealing money by the name of markup. Funny thing is faisal said to me, extend your lease and don’t drive, lol then mr. faisal how can i go to work daily which is 25 to 30 mins away. 😂
Carl at Keyes Hyundai in Van Nuys was super helpful in helping my husband and I find the perfect car for our family. We really liked how patient he was with our many questions. He was very clear in explaining the features of our car and so friendly.
I would say my experience was just OK. My appointment was scheduled @1 pm which they were quick on receiving me and getting my car ready, my only concern is because they took way to much time on completed the service and I used to have at least a car wash in the previous dealership once they return my car but apparently this is a service they do not provide.I think a better way to improve the customer service will be offering something extra and not just the service by itself.
I cannot stress enough how simple and painless this buying process was! Faisel was responsive, helpful, and efficient. We called late in the day to see if they had the car we wanted. Its in high demand so we were surprised when he had exactly what we wanted! We would be traveling nearly 2 hours to get to Van Nuys, so we knew we wouldnt make it in before the end of the day. He set it aside for us, helped us get our credit checked and discussed numbers and pricing over the phone. When we arrived the next day, he greeted us outside and already had the car being washed and readied for us. We took the car for a test drive, signed the paperwork and left! We got to Keyes around 6 and were walking out the doors with the new car before 8. Faisel helped facilitate our trade in as well. We are estatic! Thank you!!
Bad experience, I brought my Hyundai Tucson that I bought from this Dealership for Transmission oil service, never had issues with other services like engine oil or tire rotations, but these one time with my transmission service, after a few hours service adviser went over with me over the charges, which I was happy to pay ($300) plus tire rotation fee (he recommended), drove home, next day the trans mission was not responding, I called the service advisor and he offered to get a Rental Car (he offered to reimburse), got it, Tow truck pick up my car at the end of the day, 2Days later he called me to advised the car was ready for me to pick up, brought my receipt from rental car, he made a copy and said Service Manager was going to get back to me, couple of weeks went by an no phone call or check, I decided to called, then he called back to say check was ready, more weeks went by then he called me to say “check was going to take longer because of corporate, so it was easier to reimburse me to my credit card directly” that last phone call was May 7th 2021, today (June 23rd 2021 marks 3 months since I brought my car to service) sales manager has not follow up on my reimbursement at all, I bought 2 cars from this dealership, no more going back for purchased or service to my carsService Adviser - Anthony ZavalaService Manager - KevinSales adviser - Rubi
Dealership applied for a credit that belongs to me without disclosing this until we were at signing stages. They also asked for a 10K markup as this is the market but were able to let the car go for only 3k over MSRP. Deceiving tactics...
I asked to test drive their new Tucson and I was asked if I’m seriously considering a car other they can’t let me test drive it because I’d be ‘adding wasted mileage to the car’. Unbelievable. Also took me 15 mins to just talk to someone and it wasn’t even busy. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.
Gilbert assisted the service and was so friendly, helpful and quicker than I had anticipated. It made the experience much more enjoyable than I had anticipated.
I worked with Edmound to get my first SUV and my first non-Mazda lease in over 5 years. I tend to find car shopping, negotiating, contracting, etc... super stressful. Really, anytime. The best you can hope for is finding a sales person and sales managers that are nice people, knowledgable, and truly want to help you. Thats exactly what I got! Both Edmound and Eddie (finance manager) are kind, welcoming and really know their stuff. I would definitely refer a friend to them if the opportunity comes up. Thank you guys for being so great to work with! Talk to you in 4 years when my lease is up!
Ulysses was the absolute best! He was super helpful and I was able to get in and out the same day with a brand new car that I am in love with!
I NEVER write reviews unless I feel obligated because the service was that poor. I took my car in because it was leaking something that I could not get out of my driveway pavers. It didnt appear brown, but Im still thinking it has to be oil or coolant. What else leaves stains? So, I brought the car in at 3p. They said theyd hit me at 4-4:30 for a diagnosis. Mind you they close at 5. I waited at the dealer. I lost track of time and at 4:56 I found my agent and she seemed to forget as well. 15-20 minutes later she tells me the car is leaking water. Water? Unless theres a bottle of Arrowhead wedged into the motor, where does my car hold/use water? I said, no, you dont understand... I cant get the stains out of my driveway. Its not water. She says no, the mechanic says its water. I quit arguing because, I mean, what am I supposed to do at this point. They brought the car up and it wasnt washed like they promised. Im starting to think they totally forgot to look at my car and made up some BS. Just tell me the truth. Right? It got late and you didnt have time to check my car. All good. Why would they make stuff up? So weird. Now I can never bring my car to Keyes Hyundai Van Nuys again. So lame. UPDATE: the Service Manager, Kevin, called me and made bent over backwards to make this right. Thank you Kevin!
Great service, they are very honest and up front, and explain everything thoroughly. Plan on getting my Tucson to 200k miles (its at 131k now!) and they are very helpful with making that happen.
Its more than 20 days service of Hyundai Van Nuys stole my pocket knife from my car and i tried to call them, email and message but nobody answer me and they still didn’t care what happened to one of their customer.Bryan the Manager reply to my last review to contact to service manager Kevin, but he never answer my call and my emails. Pictures are attached to this review.
Carl was great. Did not try to over sell me on a car. He listened to what I wanted and could afford and I left with a great car.
EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! Special thanks to Tony for getting my vehicle in and out so quickly. Appreciate the efforts.
I have a model of Hyundai that needs to be serviced at this dealer. If I didnt I would not go to them again.I had a Tire Pressure Monitor fail due to heat. Because I didnt carry a tire pressure gauge I used the pump and sealant that came with the car instead of a spare tire. I pumped it to the level the TMP system said was correct even though the gauge on the pump said it was at the correct pressure. When I got home and checked the pressure with my tire gauge it agreed with the pump. So I knew the TPM was bad.Because the dealership is roughly 30 miles away I put off getting the TPM serviced for a couple of weeks.I made an appointment and showed up early. (Hard to gauge traffic in LA) My service advisor was just going to lunch. I was asked to leave and come back 30 minutes later. At that point I believe that the dealership should have a different service advisor fill in for the person going to lunch.Since I was 30 miles from home I waited for car. After about 2 hours past my original appointment I went and sought out the service advisor (why didnt he come find me) and he told me that because I used the tire sealant provided with the car that the warranty on the TPM was voided and it would be close to $400 to replace. I declined. This part should cost less than $140 at dealer price.I ended up going elsewhere and paying a little more than $60.I do not recommend this service department
So I have been to this location many times for services & they have always been great! Today however when I went to purchase my car, had to deal with THE WORST customer service. First of all they made us wait for 3 hours. Then I had to go through the finance department her name was Lusine. She made my purchase experience so unpleasant I almost walked out!
Very good service. Claen waiting area and car ready in a timely fashion.
The work was correctly done, and the service personnel were polite and friendly. But it took a long time to finish, and the service advisor did not keep me abreast of the time delay. I finally reached out to him via text and he let me know that it would be a few more minutes. It took another hour to get the car.
Keyes exceeded my expectations when purchasing my new car. They were professional, quick, and efficient.
Carl fisher and the manager went above and beyond to make sure I got a good deal. Hyundai’s are great cars too. Give them a chance
I usually dread going in to get service for my vehicle but John Shaw changed that for me. He made the experience easy and hassle free. The service was prompt and excellent. He was very helpful and assisted me with every concern I had. I am very satisfied with my overall experience and would highly recommend this Keyes Hyundai.
I had a wonderful experience at Keyes Hyundai in Van Nuys, CA! I was helped by Edmound D., and he made the process very pleasant and streamlined. Overall, a wonderful experience!
This places is always top notch, every time there is a great experience
We had a very positive experience purchasing our kona ev. The only negative was the excessive wait for finance.
Absolutely amazing experience with Brian, Kevin and Aaron . They went above and beyond to help us out and resolve our issues. Thank you guys !
Garry did an amazing job! Got a good deal on my car and made the process easy/quick.
Out of all the dealers I went to, Keyes Hyundai staff were the most professional and kind. George made sure I was getting a car that I would love and was super helpful and informative!! Thank you!!!
What a huge and big gigantic fail for the sales team at Hyundai Van Nuys. Literally no one at the dealer besides myself and the only sales lady was the most helpful out of all the people. The guy assisting me was clueless and didn’t know what cars they had on the lot. What’s the point of calling a customer to come out there when you tell him when you get there that go to another dealer.Absolutely terrible service and terrible manager. Keyes needs major revamping or will most likely not sell much anymore. No wonder they are missing a 2020 banner. Salesman are absolutely terrible .The one 5/5 thing is the service department. They definitely have a better service department than most other dealerships.
My service advisor, John Shaw, was very helpful and knowledgeable. John walked me through all of the work done on my car and had the car ready when promised. Collecting my car was easy: I was in and out of the service department in less than 10 minutes.
I was disappointed it took almost 3 hours to get an oil change and my break fluid replaced. Why make appointments if you know people will be out for lunch? If you dont have staff dont make appointments available.
Van Nuys Keyes Hyundai exceeds my expectations to buy my Santa Fe SUV. Mr. Amin Taimur, sales manager, and Farid, rep, did an awesome job, made my visit fun, easy, with best deal and quickest turn around to purchase my car. I have been driving Hyundai since 2017, and I have a peace of mind with contemporary design of car as well as stellar service, and now with recent purchase. Highly recommend this dealership to friends and families who wants a great and safe family car.
Car shopping is one of my least favorite activities. With that said, my experience at Keyes was smooth and easy from start to finish. Ruby Chu listened to my questions and concerns and was very responsive without being at all pushy. I secured my deal over the telephone and when I went in for my appointment, everything was exactly as promised. I feel I got a great deal on my new Tucson and the process was painless. This is my 3rd Hyundai Tucson and I couldnt be happier. Thanks to everyone involved.
John Shaw is fantastic and the reason I take my vehicle to Keyes Van Nuys for service. Always friendly and professional. Great knowledge of the states of services that are due to be done.
I had an appointment at 6pm with Adriana. When we arrived there found that she left early. Know one took care of us. One the other salare that asigned to us, said I dont have time to tell you the price of only 2 cars that we requested. Its manager is iresponsible and disapointing .
Clean, organized, friendly staff. Antithesis of the Glendale service department. I live in Glendale brought my car to that dealership once, and never again. I will only bring my car to Keyes Van Nuys if I need dealership service.
I made an appointment for an oil change and when I arrived they told me they could not find my appointment. I left and called to speak to the service manager, he informed me that he could see my appointment and could I come back. I asked for a morning appointment the next day and he obliged. I told the service writer all I needed was an oil change. He told me it would be two hours. So I waited. Two hours later he sends me a report of a list of things they checked, things I was already aware of and did not ask for. My basic oil change request was ignored in favor of wasting my time for services I did not request.
Dont bother using the chat services with this dealership. Useless.
