Dan one of the salesmen was very nice and helpful but as soon as I sat down with his manager to talk about financing everything changed. I wish I remembered his name but I was so shocked by his behavior that I forgot his name. He got angry and started yelling at me for not wanting to purchase a car that was marked up $12,000 above the MSRP!!! Iβve never been yelled at by a salesperson in my whole life!Iβm buying a barely used Mercedes now for a lot less than the most basic Honda thatβs marked up to about 37k!
Dealer markup was 4K. I understand markups for the alarm, shield on the doors, etc but they actually expect you to give them 4K just because they want to markup the price!! I turned and walked right out of that place. Went to another dealer and got the car I wanted ( they even brought it to me from another dealer) without the ridiculous βdealer markupββ¦ go see Kent @ Scott Robinson Honda.. awesome guy!!

I leased my first car here years ago. BIG mistake. I should have stuck with my instincts been more patient and go look else where. The employees I dealt with were so nice in the beginning but as soon as they are not sure if I was going to be getting a car they were rude and passive aggressive not trying to be helpful at all. Went back recently because my lease was ready to come an end. They were not helpful and barely wanted to give me options. They were horrible to interpersonal skills at all. My point is I will never buy or lease a car at this dealership again. Also if you need time to think just leave that is meant for you will still be there. Honestly its better to go to any other dealer than this one! I only interacted with four people in that dealership and none of them were pleasant, which was disappointing.
I bought my 2006 Honda CRV at Airport Marina Honda and have had all work done at their service dept. Lyle in the service dept has been so wonderful, nice and helpful the entire time. I would suggest any Honda owners to take their vehicles their!!

Got a same day appointment to check out my cars battery. They were quick to address the issue and fix it (we just changed the battery, everything else worked fine). Randy was friendly and followed up with me after the assessment to see what I wanted to do. Reasonably priced.
Most unprofessional dealership I have dealt with. After the internet department assured me they would honor the price they had quoted me over the phone on a lease, when it came time to sign the paperwork the manager increased the monthly payments by $130. I ended up leasing at Honda of Santa Monica for close to the price I wanted to pay. It pays to be diligent. Dont be afraid to walk out, its your hard earned money and you deserve to be treated fairly.
Love all the folks at Airport Marina Honda. The service team is top notch. Well run shop. Everyone is professional, friendly and provide thorough yet fast service. Even though its farther drive than the one closer to my home or work, I prefer taking my car where I know it will be handled appropriately and I wont be talked into services I dont need.
Attention BUYERS if you are looking to buy from this dealership I suggest to you not to deal with this one arrogant employee in sales by the name of Mark Shyken who has a title on their website as Assistant Sales Manager. This has to be a mistake on his title and I hope this guy is demoted to parts department or washing cars. The salespersonβs attitude was strange from the very beginning. The whole experience was not worth my while. I was excited to test drive and even that experience was dry. He didnβt describe any features, the ride was silent. Left there with no car but was able to find a Honda dealer that wanted my business and made it worth my while. Left that one with my car!!! Please do your research and try to find dealers that really care about their customers, make them feel welcomed, and really find a way for a customer to find a car at the best possible price for them! Itβs a shame because I purchased my very first car here, 7 years ago and in retrospect, that experience was also not the best. Now that I have experienced a superb salesperson and customer service, safe to say I will not be going back to Airport Marina Honda.

Dont waste your time. Purchased a car here and was lied to over and over. One month into my used car purchase and they lied about my warranty so Im now having to pay to get my AC checked out.Ive called their service department twice and they dodge questions and are short with youLied about needing to have the KARR alarm system and other add ons. When I called it out they suddenly had the option to remove them.They are also charging people damn near $2k for a Karr alarm system that doesnt cost more than a couple hundred bucks.Go elsewhere.

It started with my first lease about 10 years ago, I once tried another honda in dtla and hated it, the sales man afterwards tried hitting on me and the financial man totally lied gave me a card with his name honoring the 1st maintenance fee but when I got there he no longer worked there and dtla honda didnt honor it! However at Airport Marina Honda I always feel that they are professional and listen to me.I just came today for my next lease, I think #6 and was able to get it done easily. I filled out a credit application online and spoke with Edwardo as a salesman to purchase a 2018 Honda Accord Hybrid from out of state. First, he told me I would have to come into the dealership to purchase. I told him I have purchase my last three vehicles from out of state. I asked to speak with a manager and was told one would call me back. A week later, and I still have not received a call.I followed up today to be told the same thing; a manager would call me back. I stated I didnβt want to wait another week. I was put on hold and then told I would need a 800 score to finance a vehicle. I am already pre-approved at two other dealers, this dealership just had better pricing.Worst customer service I have ever dealt with when buying a vehicle.BUY SOME WHERE ELSE.
No shady sales taxes, hidden costs, or attempts to upsell. The car costs what it costs, and they do their best to get you any applicable discounts (student, military, Honda loyalty, etc.). The staff is kind and professional.
They will be giving you good support until you sign lease or buy a car. But once you sign the lease or buy a car, no one will be available to answer or assist you in case of any issues. Very frustrated with their customer care. Will not suggest this dealership to anyone

Went to get my brakes checked. Waited about 10 min even though I had an appointment in the service center. Not a big deal. I went back to work after dropping my car off. 3.5 hrs I didnβt hear from them. I called two times and they guy said the person who is my service representative will call me back. I decided to go there, it was done about 3 hrs ago but the lady never called me. I talked to the manager to tell him what happened he just said sorry you can go somewhere else. This Honda is the worst place Iβve ever been to. The service department is rude and they donβt care at all. I will never come back and I hope to send corporate information about this place. Iβm just glad that I didnβt have to do anything major I would of gotten a call weeks later LOL!

While waiting for my car, I spoke with Mike Acosta who gave me all the options. Mike has helped me with my leases since 2009. I test drove the new Honda 2021 Accord, with Mike wearing a mask, face shield, sitting in the back seat with the windows open. I felt very Covid safe!Danielle Juarez, the service director followed up with me to make sure I was happy. Lyle Ota is someone I have dealt with over the years, so I always request him, but these days he oversees the service department. Paula Zapien was my service coordinator and she found coupons I could use!Brian Twoomey is the general manager and he always makes sure to say HELLO. He worked with Mike Acosta to make sure I got a great deal for my car loan. Overall, I love these guys! They treat their customers well and this is why I have been loyal since 2009!The dealership is very Covid safe. No one is allowed inside, unless you are buying or leasing a car. The table for the customers are well assigned, 6 feet from staff. Each desk has a plexi shield. I saw the tables and chairs cleaned while waiting.Overall, I truly feel like I am very special here with such VIP treatment. Talk to multiple people. One name I remembered is Chris, said they didnt make deals over the phone. Told me to come in and make an offer made a offer over the phone said No at first then said he needed to talk to a Manager. Called back asked to speak to a manager he answered said he was a manager, but the general manager made the decision. Said he would talk to him to see if the considered my offer. Called me back told me he said No. Told me they would more likely consider offer if I was there. Drove from Riverside to make a deal didnt budge on the price. Asked for Chris he was not there. The manager that was there said the vehicle was priced to sell. They would not make a deal with me cause of $85. Vehicle is still there and they raised the price. Well there priced to sell vehicle is still on the lot and the price went up. I wouldnt go here. Not professional at all. So much for there random help of helpfulness bunch of crock!

This Honda is the best I purchase my first car here it was the best experience I could ask for. Fidel was very friendly and was straight forward with everything. He even washed my car himself because there wasnβt anyone there to wash it. Thatβs what I call excellent and going above service. Once again thank you Fidel for the amazing service.
Beware. They illegally sold to me a used car that failed the smog check in 2020. The repair cost was hundreds dollars! They charged State Emission Certification Fee even though the smog check was failed and I did not get the certificate.They even charged $1200 for KARR security system, which added no value when you resell your car (even a sales person in other Honda dealer shop told me that it has no value at all).I was completely fooled. I am in a process of filing a lawsuit.

Lyle is punctual, efficient with his time, dressed and groomed neat and clean, listens patiently to problems, diagnoses and explains problems in understandable terms. She not only gave me the run down but she went above and beyond by showing me what part I needed to get replaced with a video. Super helpful as a lot of the time it sounds like jibberish! I have been a long time customer of airport Marina Honda. I purchased my car there, and had all of my service work performed here as well. I recently encountered a very bad experience from an unequipped service advisor. He was so rude and his demeanor, and his lack of education. when I confronted this young man about the situation that he neglected, he told me I could take my car as it is . I dropped my car off the previous night so that they could remove a nail from my rear tire. By 2:00 p.m. the following day all that had been done was this young man calling me and telling me I had a nail in my tire. I was very upset because I had taken off from work which caused me to lose money, and all he had done was call me and tell me I had a nail in my tire. This was maybe a 30 to 45 minute job. So with all that time he did nothing, I had to go to Valencia Honda to have them replace the tire. airport marina did not honor their warranty for my tires which was brand new. I had just purchased these tires from them two weeks prior. Then when I asked for some sort of compensation about it the service manager Danielle said that since I was upset and vented to another manager about it they werent going to do anything in regards to my situation. This has since severed my relationship with airport Marina Honda. I can say only one thing about them, you can purchase your car from there, but if you insist on having service from a Honda dealer dont take it here! They have been through four different service managers in the 5 years Ive been going here. That says a lot about their service department. Please take note of that. I hope my information helps you all.
Feel like I totally got ripped off. Charged me Surge labor charge and when I asked why was the labor charge so much they couldnt even tell me what it was other than more than the normal $175 hour. I googled what I should have paid for a starter replacement for my Honda and they charged me hundreds more than it should have been. It would have cost $175 to get my car back. I told them it was the starter. I paid almost $900 for something that should have been closer to $600.Update: Still had a problem and they said I had a 3 year warranty on the repair and to bring car back in. Problem solved! (Changed rating from 1 to 4 stars.) Still overpaid but at least they stand behind their work. Service manager had service department expecting me and they handled problem immediately...

Good experience. Easy to make an appointment, got in early and worked through the details with the service agent. I was in and out in just over an hour, which was reasonable for the work I needed. I would go back to have additional work done if that comes up in the future.
Bad experience. I somewhat expected it, buy I still gave it a shot. Bad sales people tell you over the phone that if you go there in person they can work with you and give you a better price than what they quote on the phone. Thats false, we went there and they didnt. And as if that wasnt enough, when we went there, they told us: I could have told you over the phone this was the best price...
Called to setup a test drive w a specific car, which I was told they would pull out and have ready. Get there the person I spoke to was nowhere to be seen. Had to start over. 30min for them to figure out how to get a car ready for us to test drive and they didnβt even have exactly what they said they had and would have ready, then wouldnβt allow my husband and I even in the car together to discuss it and poke around. Swarmy. Shockingly different experience than a test drive the day before at Subaru when we were allowed to go together and alone to discuss the pros and cons. They donβt even have cars open for you to look at features and sit in.
My experience was fast, friendly, and I would do it again in a heartbeat. Everyone was friendly and helpful. They were very patient in explaining what was covered and made sure to ask about any additional items required.
I dropped off my vehicle using the overnight drop off at this dealership. I called later in the day to ask the progress of the oil change. No one had checked the drop off box that day so my car had not been serviced.I expressed my disappointment to this incident. A manager was able to reach out to me and help me resolve the issue. It was great to see that the dearship strived to resolve the error and directly work with me to ensure that I am a happy customer.
My sales rep Lucy was very friendly and accomodating throughout the whole transaction. I also worked with her manager Mark, he was actually really good and very easy to work with. Ive been with Airport Marina Honda for about 10yrs.and it feels like home for me and my lease. Once a few years ago I tried another Honda center (DD) and that was a mistake. The service department here is nice courteous and never pushy.
Prompt and courteous service. However, my car had an A01 code in the diagnostic (change oil & rotate tires), and all I see on the Invoice is Multi-point inspection and Oil & filter change (no description on the type or weight) with no mention of tire rotation.
Paula was very helpful, and kept good communication with me on what services my car needed. She explained why the services were needed with realistic context. They got my car back to me as quickly as possible as well.
I just feel so sad and lost why are all the good starts for because my experience wasnβt at all good. Today I when in trying to purchase my first car. However, the employees were zero helpful. It seems as they had no interest on selling me a car. It made me feel so bad because I was so excited to purchase a car and they just didnβt want to help me. They made me feel unwelcome as if they didnβt want me in. At a point I felt discriminated because they didnβt understand my English. I really hope no one else experiences the same. HONDA EMPLOYEES ARENT NICE.
Horrible experience for a lease buyout with them. I called 2 times and was told by to workers that there was no fees on the lease buyout. I asked specifically if it is the buyout price on the contract + state fees + taxes only and was told yes. Spent a while driving there expecting to not have to pay the buyout/inspection/what ever they name the fee only to be told I have to. Not only that they wanted DOUBLE what the Culver City Honda wanted. $2000 for doing the bare minimum!If you want to do anything with your car DO NOT GO HERE! You will be dragged around and lied to. Specifically one of the sales reps named Lily. Thought she was nice and wanted to help but I guess that was a lie.

Dan makes the experience here refreshing! No aggressive sales tactics or fine prints here. I found both Dan & Mike to be quite upfront and transparent throughout the process of purchasing a car . We didnt feel pressured at any point to purchase any accessories, options etc...I could connect with Dan, if youre a millennial or a car enthusiast you might like working with Dan hes easy to talk to, candid, knowledgeable about a variety of different vehicles, and most importantly friendly & very hardworking. After our purchase of the Accord, he took the time to explain the features of the vehicle and was kind enough to offer ongoing assistance. Communication throughout the process was great! I also enjoyed working with Mike, who was prompt to respond to emails and a no-fuss kinda guy. After pointing out some minor blemishes, he kindly offered to have that taken care of. No excuses, no fuss, just straight-up solution. Love it!The only thing I would have liked is better coffee for the long day we had at the dealership. It would be nice for the dealership to carefully evaluate and clean the new cars. If I was buying used, Id be okay with some flaws, not with a new car. I found a couple things on the first car we were ready to drive away with, luckily they had another in stock and we were able to swap it out. Overall, this is a good Honda to consider for your purchase.
I drove from Orange County just to find out it was false advertisement! Thereβs an internet price and dealership price. Be careful! Didnβt close deal due to horrible customer service from sales person Rafael! I do not recommend! Very unprofessional and rude. I asked Rafael if he can do a quick fix and he replied βYouβre asking for too muchβ he even brought up that heβs not making much on the vehicle. He was not even present most of the time and did not explained numbers right.No one wants to close a deal if their not comfortable with the sales person!!! Unpleasant experience!I recommend Valoo ! This is my second purchase from this dealership. I have to say I should have learned the first time. They give you an offer (over the phone) thats too good to be true in order to get you in to their dealership. Once youre there its a much different story. I felt pressured at times through the experience. Clearly they are more concern for their commission then anything else. If you have the time and patience, there are better dealerships that will treat you with coutesy and respect.
We purchased a vehicle with a $4k, 120k mile hondacare warranty from Airport Honda in March 2020. In September 2020 they called us to say we could not get the hondacare, to come sign papers....they tried giving us a 60k mile portfolio warranty(worth under 1k, remember, we paid 4k) by saying HONDA wouldnt warranty the car(ever heard of that? Think that is more garbage from this dealer).Now insult to injury, at the finance table they told us they increased the price of the car 1k & reduced the price of the warranty 1k for something(they told us it was for our benefit), at the time I didnt care, as long as it was the same bottomline, why did it matter?....I see now, it was to charge us an extra 1k on the car!!They gave us 3k back(saying they will send it to our lender), no interest despite keeping our money 6mos(we paid interest on it for 6mos).I am filing with the BBB & California AG on Monday....luckily I have everything in text due to my disability(i have MS & I cannot talk on the phone).Buyer beware, this dealer will scam you, they cannot be trusted!!!

Donβt trust this dealer, Not sure if its new management or what but all week Iβve been calling to schedule an oil change and kept getting told to call back the next day. Walk in oil change is a joke . Even though itβs only 5 min from my house I think itβs time to look for a new dealer to do all my vehicle service.

If only I could remember the name of the receptionist I just got off the phone with. I have been receiving non stop phone calls and text messages from this place. Iβve already talked to two people and told them Iβm not who they are looking for yet I still get phone calls and texts everyday. So I called, again and told her that I keep getting phone calls and Iβm not who they are looking for, I live in NC. And all she could say to me was βI got itβ over and over again with the rudest tone. Donβt work in customer service if you donβt like dealing with people.

He was very helpful and excellent at explaining how the process works and made sure our experience was outstanding. Kinecta FCU was holding a 2 day used car tent sale (Airport Marine Honda/Ford, Toyota Place, and Marina del Rey Honda) and once I walked in Nick greeted me right away and asked us how we were doing. He was not pushy, and my boyfriend and I didnt have high hopes (given our challenged credit situation). We walked around the lot and saw the cars they had available. Scott was beyond helpful and let us know because of our situation there were limited cars that banks would work with. After being turned down from other dealerships, Scott (Finance Manager) was able to pull some strings and get me approved. Im still blown away that I drove away in a used car, but new for me lol (2016 Toyota Corolla). So a big, genuine, fat thank you to Nick, Scott, and Jay (for putting all the papers together in the end). They have definitely earned my business and Ill make sure my friends and family go to them!

The continuous care and professionalism during my visit was extremely impressive. I felt comfortable and taken care of throughout my entire experience. I simply rolled out of bed to go get my 2006 Honda Odyssey fixed, not knowing that I would return home with a brand new 2019 Honda HR-V. My salesman, Robert Williams showed great concern for my specific situation and showed attention to detail. He had an answer for every single one of my questions and broke down the terms of my lease in a way I could understand. Throughout my whole experience with him, he was personable, warm and easy to talk to. Whatever nerves I had, he eased them. Whatever doubts I had, he removed them. He made the leasing process 100x easier and was the ultimate reason I proceeded with my deal. Its hard to find people in customer service that truly have your best interest at heart. At no point did I feel like I was being taken advantage of, lied to or misled by Robert or anyone else at the Airport Marina Honda dealership. From the people holding the door open for me to the people at the front desk, the entire staff is kind, gracious and eager to help.
The deal was really smooth. Both Sales Consultant and Sales Manager were very helpful. Now I will enjoy my new Accord 2.0T.
I worked with Mike and would do so again. Mike and I hammered out a deal over the phone, email and via text. He delivered everything he said he would. I waited a couple months to share my experience with Airport Marina Honda, because I didnt want anger or frustration to speak louder than the service I received. (FULL REVIEW IN PHOTO)The air conditioning stopped blowing cold in my 2016 Honda Civic. I took it to my regular, trusted mechanic, to have a look. He ran some tests and found that the condenser was leaking. As a TRUSTED mechanic, he let me know that Honda had extended the warranty on this part for 10 years, because it was a common problem in these cars. He did not try to charge me and fix it but informed me it could get fixed free of charge at a Honda dealership. After leaving, I found that this was much more than a common issue. I called Honda dealerships within a 50-mile radius, and all but one dealership had the part on back order. The one dealership that had the part, was *Airport Marina Honda*. I had never been to this facility. I bought both of my Hondas from Keyes Woodland Hills and would do some service work at Culver City Honda. So once confirming with the customer service representative that they had the part, and would set one aside for me, I made an appointment to come have my car fixed. This representative told me to bring my car in on Saturday morning at 8am, and that it would be finished the same day. Upon arriving, a service tech with a not-so-friendly attitude, verified that I had an appointment, but told me to leave and come back on Monday because they wouldnt have the time to fix my car, because other people had shown up to get their car fixed. I let him know that this would not work for me, as I made this appointment and switched MY STAFF members work schedule around (at my job), so I could make THIS APPOINTMENT that Honda set with me. I ask to speak with a supervisor, because it didnt sit well that I drove all the way over to Airport Marina, just to be turned away. The service supervisor, Danielle Juarez, is who this complaint is about and for. After a short conversation in trying to talk me into coming back on Monday morning, she said the best they could do would be to leave my car over the weekend, and come back Monday morning to pick it up. After confirming they had a condenser to replace mine, and that it was a repair covered completely UNDER WARRANTY, the conversation shifted into money & other repairs. She told me it may be the evaporator which isnt under warranty, and if it was, it would a very pricey repair. After stating repeatedly that I was only coming for the condenser replacement which was under warranty, and that one had been put aside for me, her attitude and customer service went downhill quick. Nobody had looked at my car except for my outside mechanic, so I was confused on how I was being quoted for a repair that I did not come in for, nor had not been diagnosed or verified by any mechanic at Honda. So, it felt like the condenser repair under warranty, was something they did not want to do, because they would not be receiving payment from me for it. I felt less than and treated poorly, like I didnt have money to fix my car, and was only coming to get something for free. I was treated as if I was looking for a freebee and couldnt afford repairs, but I was only coming because it was under an EXTENDED WARRANTY. So, the conversation shifted to other repairs, not covered under warranty, among other RIDICULOUSLY high fees for service. The conversation got loud and extremely rude. After this argument ended, I apologized for any attitude received by me. Danielle accepted the apology, and apologized to me for her words and her tone, and even told me since I was a loyal Honda customer, (I drove in with my son, who was picking me up in a Honda) she would write the GM and get the bill cut in half, if it was the evaporator. Again, this was something I brought in under warranty, but to promise to get a bill cut in half (50% off), when there shouldnt have been a bill in the first place, didnt make sense. I left my car there that Saturday, with a very uneasy feeling, and waited to hear back. *SEE PHOTO*
I came in without an appointment. My service writer, Lyle Ota, was efficient, friendly, competent and knowledgeable. My service took a little over two hours anda I was on my way. Good job!

I recently leased my first vehicle here and I had a great experience. I explained to Sandra what I wanted from the beginning and she immediately showed me a car I had been interested in for awhile. She let me test drive it and I felt really comfortable and asked her to please get me a good deal. Rafael was also very helpful in getting me a great monthly deal when I explained to him my budget and took less than 10 minutes to offer me a steal deal. Overall my experience was awesome at this dealer and multiple individuals have asked me where I got my Honda Civic 2019 and how I got such a great deal. Richard was also great explaining the paperwork and how a lease works. In the end I drove out of the dealer lot with an awesome car in less than 3 hours.

I recently purchased a new Civic with Terry at Airport Marina Honda. To be honest, I was dreading the whole car buying experience and the moment I stepped out of my car and he introduced himself to me, I knew I was in good hands. He was NEVER pushy, asked a lot of questions, and was very knowledgeable about the different models of Civic I was interested in. I appreciated his opinions and unbiased thoughts on many of my questions. He honestly was a real joy to be around and even through the tough negotiation part he made it very clear he was working in our best interest. At one point - we didnt think we were going to make the negotiation work and Terry was absolutely considerate and accommodating of our decision to leave that day without a car. A lot of places will chase you down and make it nearly impossible to feel like you can leave and I never once felt that way with Terry. Thanks again for the great experience and we will be back again on the next round!
GO ELSEWHERE.Covid friendly however their service department was terrible and customer service was unprofessional.I had my car stolen (but found) and had it towed to Airport Marina Honda for inspection and a Covid-cleaning. Half opened candy wrappers were moved from the front seat cupholder to my trunk, along with all the stuff the theft left in my car while joyriding. The belongings were literally thrown in my trunk, not even placed in a bag or box. To return to my car and find this, I was extremely frustrated. How it was supposedly βCovid cleanedβ is very confusing, they left a strangers open candy and wrapper in my car for me to throw out. Additionally there are spots on all the windows and hard surfaces on my car, now catching sunlight and I have re-clean it all myself. My car was returned to me unprofessional looking and I cannot believe I paid over $400 for this level of cleaning and detailing...Also, I was reassured that the body damages to my car would be taken care of while it was at Honda for service. No one ever communicated to me that they were not being performed in the week they had my car. This level of cleaning and customer service/communication has been terrible and I am disappointed to say the least. I emailed multiple times to share my disappointment and have never received a response.
Was actually really surprised at the lack of customer service. I have been to a couple of Honda Dealers recently looking to buy a car. I walked in, no-one asked if needed any help. I spoke with a woman at desk. She said to have a seat and she would get someone to kelp me. About 15 minutes later I went ask the woman if there is a less busy time I could come back. She simply ignored me. I walked out. If this is how they do business pre-sale it can only go down from there.
Everyone there was welcoming to us there was no pressure and we felt right at home. They got us the exact car we wanted and at a great price. Financing was quick and easy. Really appreciated them. Great prople.
