I was in and out. I was quick because I knew what I wanted. Immediately I was welcomed and was offered help simultaneously, but I denied there offers. They graciously accepted as I picked up a set of boots that I had bought before which were exactly what I needed. Thank you BIG 5 of Highland Park! I will be grateful when I start a new job someday.

I have always been greeted at the door by every person working the register. Each department will ask if we need assistance. Store is well organize and items are easily located. The Store is small in size, but the team members make big customer service.

I received Xmas gift, Bearpaw boots. Sadly wrong size, went to exchange for right size. They had none in store.i ask if they can order my size, they said no! The truck has what it has. So the dont know what supplies they are getting. So I asked if I can exchange for another style that fits. Yes but I have to pay 20.00 dollars the difference cause I dont have original receipt, even though the cost the same in the store. So I called my daughter to bring me the receip,t took them back with the receipt THEY GAVE ME BACK 20.00 dollars. Such bologna!!! And by the way gift receipt are no good if your family needs to return they Always get less the what you PAID!!!

Employees Chatting with each other behind registers. No greeting when entering the store. They just looked at me. No one around to ask if I was finding everything okay. I guess they follow their managers lead.

I am a cancer patient in remission. I go to this location often. Always a friendly staff willing to help. Upon purchasing a weight bench and weights the manager was more than helpful as he took the equipment out to my car and loaded it in for me. And told me to take care of myself. Its local for me so I will always go back. Customer Service is what sets one store apart from another.

Everyone here is always very helpful as you first walk in, as opposed to other Big 5s where they barely even greet you 🙂

Good prices and decent service. Ample parking. I bought shoes there. They always have some sort of sale going on. Sketchers or Denali and other top brands. They of course sell other sporting goods at great prices. Worth the visit. Save yourself some money and check them out .

Need last minute camping gear ... come here. They don’t have a huge selection. Definitely not the most lightweight gear. Missing a lot of sports. The prices for clothes are still a bit expensive for a discount sports store. I have come he on a couple occasions... but almost never find what I am looking for. Granted it’s convenient stop when you forgot the gas for the stove or some hiking socks!

Just bought the Columbia Folding Bike and it was already put together a ready to go. Just a few adjustments and I was riding away. The bike is great and the all aluminum frame is so light and folding the bike so easy making taking on it the train or in the trunk of the car a breeze.

Associates are very helpful, very friendly. Lots of choices in what I was looking for and Big 5 always seems to have great deals.

Just wow....my shopping experience was actually flawless until reaching the register. 2 people at the cash wrap. One on register other I wasnt sure.One person is checking out. Im the NEXT customer in line and theres someone behind me.The gentleman at the cash wrap begins talking to the person behind us waiting to be checked out. He, after chating proceeds to OPEN the other register and skips us to take her; no do you mind no I can take the next person just because they seemed to know each other.Sadly my boyfriend needed the shoes we were purchasing. As we checked out I asked the lady for the manager and guess who that is? Yep. That was him and didnt even seemed to be not get to have been called out. Never shopping at this location again. Truly disappointed.

This location is so small compared to other ones. I was looking for winter jackets and they basically had an abundance for kids but had just one rack for both men and women. Why post a sale if you have almost nothing in stock? The entire time I was there I only saw the cashier and no other employees. So needless to say I left without purchasing anything.

Badly stocked store. No items you need when you get there. Theres no way in Hell I would recommend this place to anyone. Small, no variety, and parking is bad too.

Ive always loved going into sporting good stores. The imagination flies with what I would do with so many things. My father and I always went to the Big 5 in Glendale. Now that there is one closer to home makes going to this store easier.Amazed I found some Spenco sandals! The store associates didnt know what I talked about when i initially asked for them. The manager knew exactly and showed his store associates. I am thankful for the awesome teamwork. Living my Spencos!

Well I shop more here more than I have in past maybe it is due to its location but it isnt one of there bigger stores by no means but as far as what it does offer in variety as well as price to match quality of merchandise it is as it is all there locations with the visit at least for most of my sporting goods needs.

Employees are very helpful but not overbearing. Selection is hit or miss depending on the season and what you are looking for.

I didnt feel comfortable at this Big-5, I dont know what it was but something just didnt feel right...it kind of felt out of place here and seemed that this kind of store didnt belong in the area...it seemed a little smaller than the other Big-5 stores Ive shopped at, and with less panhandlers that were outside of the store, and the employees seemed as if they were watching me as I browsed throughout the store; I know the area is real crime ridden but not everyone that goes in is a shoplifter, they ought to try to make their guests feel more comfortable...i wont be going back to this Big-5 Ill go to some other larger one, and in a better area...
