This place is a neighborhood treasure. I love supporting locally owned small businesses. The employees know me by name, and the owner is a great guy. Their prices for meat and incredibly reasonable, and the quality is unsurpassed. It’s noticeably very fresh! I’m so thankful to have El Caney around. :)

Weve been here twice now and will definitely keep coming back. Their meats are amazing. You can tell they take great care in what they serve. I ate their prosciutto & Brie sandwich and it was as if I was back in Paris. Their baguettes are delicious too.

El Caney is a very sizable corner market, lots of fresh produce, ( meat, dairy, vegetables) dry goods, cleaning supplies, and even pet food. Its the only walkable place to grab some quick groceries in my neighborhood and the prices, while a little steep, are no worse than what you would get from say, 7-11 or other corner stores.

The place is tiny, but the set-up inside is simple, clean, and organized

Customer service has improved.. my first experience consisted of a cashier that was rude and had a crappy attitude.. I chalked it up to a bad day and visited again.. but I was met with odd glares and bad attitude.. I waited a couple months then went again the lady actually wished me a good day.. yay improvement... The prices are decent.. I just try to visit mom n pop stores to help small business.. attitude is everything when youre a small business owner..

I love it. Everything is organized and convenient to buy Hispanic food. The owner, manager, all of employees are nice.

It is a badly located place and also a rather small and expensive place. The truth is the first time I have been to that place, I do not think I will go back at least to buy no more. 😔
