When I decided to change the rotor and brake pads on my car I went online and checked out all of the brake parts stores. I went to the Centrix website and I noticed that Auto Brake Center was on their recommended list of distributors. Accordingly, I went to the Auto Brake Center website and easily found the parts that I needed for my car. It is so easy to find the parts by just putting in your car information. The first thing I noticed was that the prices at Auto Brake Center were lower than the prices at other stores for the exact same item. Also at the other online stores the shipping cost to Hawaii (where I live) is outrageous - $150 - more than the cost of the parts that I wanted to buy. After I found my parts I called Auto Brake Center and talked with Sean and he told me that he could send the parts to me in Hawaii for $20. As I talked to Sean I could tell he was very knowledgeable about brakes and he was very nice also. It was easy to talk with him and he told me what I needed and he sent all the parts to me. He asked me questions about my car and it was clear that he knew a lot about brakes and all the little nuances that you would never know about by just going to the website. Needless to say I put the rotor and pads on my car and it is all good. While I may rely on Seans advice about brakes I suggest that you be very cautious if he gives you any advice about swimming or diving. Ask him about that sometime.

Quality Service, very helpful in providing information when needed, and as most have stated, Sean is a friendly and easy going guy, no problems at all. I did have to drive down to the warehouse to get my parts(about a 30+mile drive) but for me as a driver i didnt mind. My car isnt the most upgrading friendly so i understand not having all the parts on tap. Either way this is the place to go to if your in the Los Angeles district. Cant go wrong with any of the products they offer.

Back in August of 1976 Car and Driver ran a story comparing 12 Top Convertibles. One of those test cars was an Alfa Romeo Spider. I just purchased the actual Spider that Car and Driver tested all those years ago. I have the original letter from Alfa Romeo turning the car over for evaluation! So this little Alfa is a survivor for sure. It has nearly 100k miles on it but it looks show room fresh. The service these guys provided to me was nothing short of amazing. Fast, courteous, reasonably priced. I spoke with Sean one afternoon about a hard to find front brake caliper for my 85 Spider, and he was understanding of my plight, reassuring, and professional. I shipped my old unit to ABC and upon receipt, Sean verified that he had received my unit and even sent photos of the caliper to document the condition in which it had arrived. Sadly, shortly thereafter, turned out my caliper had a hairline crack and was unable to be restored. Alas, Sean and his team were able to locate another core, which was then rebuilt and shipped to me within days. Now if I could only get the car to start :). I bought a set of STOPTECH front drilled and slotted brake rotors and ceramic brake pads for 4 pods calipers of my 2004 Audi Allroad 4.2L V8. I am very happy with the products. Drilled and slotted rotors are usually little noisier but these are very quiet. I believe that drilled holes and slotted grooves are very carefully chamfered. The combination of the rotors and the pads have given strong stopping power and great brake feeling even before a running in. It gives very liner brake feel and controllable. So far, I have tired only on tarmac but I expect this is very controllable on a slippery surface. To me, this is important as I go for long ski trip. Prior to running in, the brake squeaked a bit but it is very minimum as a sort pads. After running in, it is nearly nothing and brake feel got better. I love a brake feel. It is hard to describe but gives kind of wet feeling. It is like cutting through a butter by a knife. It is not like dry hard attacking feel. This is exactly what I wanted. Also, pads created minimum gas during running in. Although the drilled and slotted rotor helps outer gas to escape, it was really minimum. At the end, I got very strong, great feel and quiet brake at very reasonable cost. The pads seem to create some dust on a rim but as a sports pads, it is minimum. If you do not want to clean your rims, you better buy something else. Besides, Sean has give a very responsive and very good service. I highly recommend Auto Brake Center.

Hey Sean - just a quick note to let you know I made it back to Sydney ok and just got around to replacing all the rotors/pads on the A8 with the Stop-Techs and couldnt be happier.No hidden fitment issues and they are definitely in the same category (if not better) than the local DBA 4000 rotors I have used on my other cars.Ive got a few before and after pics showing the stock Brembo rotors/pads from Audi and the Stop-techs fitted up.Think ill be in the Market for a set of the calipers next!Thanks Sean.
