The heavy guy at the front counter was horrible. I paid $55.00 in advance for two pair of shoes. Two weeks later, they were not touched, laid over in a bundle of shoes on a big shelf and my linen shoe had dark marks on them. The heavy guy was so hideous. After two weeks, they were still not shined, I had a flight to catch. He acted so remedial. And told me, He hopes I never come back. He was a miserable person, but had no problem rejecting my request for a refund.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The work they performed on my backpack was superb. I trust their company.

Really friendly people, and they do good work. I have brought four pairs of shoes / boots here so far, to great results. I love supporting this local business. (Def look out for their limited hours before going! Theyve been slowly reopening due to the pandemic.)

The most horrible experience I’ve ever had!! People say support your black businesses, but it’s businesses like them that’s giving black businesses a bad reputation. I took my Louis Vuitton purse for the front pocket zipper to be replaced, this was the first week in July, what was suppose to be a 2 week repair turned into almost 2 months. Everytime they called me in because my repair was finished as they claimed, there was something that they had forgotten to do. For example, the first time they called me in, I got there and nothing was done to the purse, 2nd time, they changed the wrong zipper, 3rd time, they changed the zipper that needed to be replaced in the first placed but sewed the zipper compartment closed where I couldnt get into my purse. The last time I went back they didnt put the part of the zipper that says “louis vuitton” back on the top zipper that they shouldnt have changed in the first place, and told me there is no way to get it back on, but they were able to put it back on the front zipper with no problem.🤔 I’m just so upset, there is now needle stitch marks all in my purse and now I dont even love my purse anymore. So sad😭

Awesome service!If I could give them more stars I would! I wanted to go there early in the day to try to give them enough time to hopefully do my quick shoe repair, same day. But I was busy and wasnt able to get there until mid-late afternoon. The guy behind the desk checked with the repair guy to see if he could fit my repair in, same day, and he did! I just stayed there and waited for it...the repair was done that quickly! The fee was more than reasonable too! I will definitely be bringing my shoe repairs here from now on!! Thank you!

The service was great!! BUT the place is a mess. The chairs for customers were dirty and stained. The counter top was a mess. The floor is scattered with shoes on one side. The place needs a complete reorganization and a thorough cleaning. But the young man that helped me was very polite and helpful. Good customer service!!

Went to get my shoes shined. I have gone here for years. Not happy with what happened with one pair of shoes. Shoes were a lighter brown color with little holes in the toe. The polish dye that he used was not the correct color. So will be going back

I am one picky customer, but they are pretty awesome. They fixed my vintage Chanel that my dog chewed (!!!) and the Gucci ballerinas that I used for years and almost destroyed. They have a pick up / delivery service, and you can pay after you are satisfied with the result. Everyone is nice and easy-going. I will use it for all my future needs!

Chambers should be considered a historic place in LA. They once were located on Central Ave and moved to what is considered the Westside of LA.The older staff are probably no longer with us, however the quality of services are the same.My hubby does not understand why they cant offer same day service for repairing leather goods.However there are people that come from out of town to have their shoes shined there (sometimes you can get same day service for shoe shines)Chambers are known for the old fashioned shoe shine and they are still offering the same service today.The employees are friendly and helpful.They are located on a very busy fast moving street, there is some street parking available during certain times of day.All and all I would continue to recommend Chambers Shine Parlor & Shine.

Went to have two pair of shoes shined, and a pair of suede shoes cleaned. My initial intentions were to leave all three pair and pick them up another day. An aggressive shoe shiner talked me into have the two pairs shined while I sat there. I understood he wanted to make a tip. He start talking about $20 thats charged in Las Vegas, and began to insult me. A psychological attempt to get me to tip him $20. He didnt know me, or know what I could be capable of doing. He is truly a fool and will hurt the business. If you go there for the fir s t time, leave the shoes.

Wouldnt give my deposit back after having my shoes for 3 weeks which were supposed to be finished in one week.Manager on CENTRAL said the STUPIDEST THING!We cant give you back your deposit if we Dont do the work HUH!They were charging me $40.For what another repair shop charged me $12.And it only took the other shop 3 days to fix my shoesTHANKS CHAMBERS
