This pet shop that I visited yesterday was awesome and heart-flattering. It was never a doubt that I trusted their skills upon making my pet, Sofia has a new-look. With the expertise they possessed, I could never thank them enough for satisfying me a lot. They were using clean utensils and equipment upon the haircut and taking her a bath. I’m honored enough to recommend this pet shop to my friends who had their pets at home. God bless. I’ll come again at any time!

This place is decently sized with alright looking birds. Clean cages, there were 3 English budgies, 1 healthy male in his own cage and a breeding pair, altho the female of the pair appears to have a hurt wing. Many chicken supplies and wild bird feed here as well. Prices reasonable. Not a lot of selection for perches and toys. The fish could be in better conditions. There were dwarf hamsters and Syrian hamsters in inadequate housing which is unfortunate the norm for pet stores. Under the bird cages there were hamsters and small rodents in tiny wooden carriers chewing chewing chewing on the mesh, most likely very bored in the tiny carrier but maybe theyre feeders for reptiles? They had small tortoises and a section for cats and dogs, tho every section is quite small accommodating most pet animals.Overall it was better than Feathers N Friends and Quetzal, but not worth driving for the animals. Parking is decent.

Last week, I passed by in your pet shop to check if you have diapers and a traveling cage for dogs. I was so happy and satisfied with the service. The items are in good quality, and the prices are so affordable. You didnt fail to impress me, guys! You keep up the excellent service!

This pet shop is set up well and easy to navigate. The employees are always helpful and considerate. The choice of pet food brands is incredible, and they also carry a portion of locally-made excellent dog food. There is a large selection of cat food too. I strongly recommend this pet shop!

I went to this store, and they approved my offer. Without further comment, they did their utmost to keep my dog clean, tidy and stunning. Their desire to take a bath with my dog was fantastic and exceptional. I would also recommend their excellence to my friends who had their dogs with them. Though not a fully stocked place(place is kinda small but Im sure theres more in back room, dont go by my visual observation) they have a lil of whatcha need (kinda like a Kuicki-mart) plus Im sure they cant special order some things(dont quote me in that, never placed any special orders, just know most places can/will) Bird man pet shop is that lil necessity every community needs for their lil critters(that mom n pop business) Ive gone to them for basic feeding necessities for my insects, reptiles and mammals. Tho most of my critters are almost gone(theyre time was up), Id still recommend Bird Man pet shop for a lil speedy shopping experience. Just a heads up, the place isnt fancy looking like big chain pet shop but neither are most small convenience store. Youre basically there to get whatcha came for and out you go. Lastly, youre always greeted by a friendly person ready to assist you.

My pets would definitely love all the items that I bought from this pet shop. These guys really have a variety of accessories that I can choose from and a high quality of pet foods that are perfectly sealed. I got 2 baby Pet Rats and theyre adorable they never bite me and theyve grown to adults theyre healthy as well. They gave me advice and tips on how to raise them and the owners and workers are friendly. The prices are affordable as well.Love this family owned business.

The buggies are like 15 per SMALL cage the cage size is not even big enough for 2 to be able to live healthy. I unfortunately did not do my research before purchasing 2 buggies from them and both of this died with in 3 months in the same week. I didn’t everything right to care for my birds. After talking to a vet it was assumed they were sick when bought. The birds were not happy and in terrible condition. When trying to purchase they did not even want to talk to me or help me.

I got my my cockatiel from them. Real nice people, I would recommend everyone to go there.

Wonderful local independent pet store. The staff is awesome. I bought my Berrie here a Pomeranian dog for her first groom, which is she like it. The owner and staff were so friendly and welcoming. The place was spaciously clean. Also, they sell snacks for your pets, and they had stuff for your pets.

My sister and I came here into this pet shop to buy some new hamster, and it was nice because the staff here greeted us enthusiastically and even showed us everything that they are selling. The best pet shop in town! When we walked in we were greeted with a smile the lady at the cash register was very helpful, and their dog food is cheaper than any other pet shop. My dog is very picky, and she never likes any dog treats. Awesome staff and an amazing selection of pet stuff at a reasonable price!

Bird man is a family business for decades at highland park, now new management and new location for a few years i love this place very friendly

This is a great store if you are like me and you buy the better quality pet foods (which can be hard to find).They dont carry the brand that I usually give my cat, but they special order it for me. I took advantage of the mobile vet that is there weekly and got discounted shots for my cat.The Customer Service is excellent. Another family owned Eagle Birdman Pet Shop gem.

The condicion of the little birds and other animals are deplorable, I saw baby turtles turned over and when I told the attendant she said that she didnt have a key and other customer also told her and nothing was done. The place doesnt have air conditioning and smelled terrible. Thinking of calling animal services.😡😡😡

This is my favorite local pet store. The staff have been so knowledgeable and kind on every visit. The store may be a bit small, but their inventory is extensive! Lots of great options and reasonable prices.

Been in twice so far and plan on returning always. The first time I was helped by the employee of the month, she is great. Second time the owner spent so much time with us it was amazing. He sorted out a bunch of problems for us. They are local and the hours are great. Do yourself a favor and stop by next time you need anything for your dog or cat.

Used to come here all the time. Now I have a new dog and they gave me tons of great samples to try with him. My go to spot with lots and lots in stock 7 days a week.

They also offer grooming services and health clinics though I dont use either of those services. They sell birds and fish as well and sometimes have pet adoptions.

HORRIBLLLEE, I called 30 MINUTES ahead for a specific animal to purchase, drove a long drive, when arrived they had SOLD that animal and didnt bother to call back and let me know it was sold and just wasted my time and money, WOULD NOT recommend due to HORRIBLE customer service.

This is an old business that was up near the Highland Park Post office 😬 but with all these new people with money coming in to Highland Park and messing up our community running out our store owners putting UP their rent 3 times so now my Birdman had to move South down Figueroa St 😟it make me so sick that all these people dont care what they are really doing to all us people that just get thrown out of our stores and homes 😬😟😬when does it stop 😕😞😕
