Very petty place. I brought my bike here because my tires needed some air, I live down the street. The guy working there said it will cost $5 to fill them up it’s labor… I said then I can do it, he said no customers can’t use the pump, it’s a liability. I said you mean that pump you won’t let me use? I mean, it’s a regular Bike pump (same kind we all have that you can buy at Target) I left without using or paying $5 and took my bike to a place that didn’t ask me for money to use their pump as most places wouldn’t sink that low. Its rude and unprofessional to actually ask or expect someone to pay you $5 for a few pumps of air from a bike pump. I’ve never been asked to pay $5 to use a bike pump ever at any shop I’ve been to. They’re ridiculous.

JOY RIDEBought my first adult bike here. The staff was super helpful and asked me about what I was looking for, giving me options to choose from within my price range. Not only was the staff very knowledgable, but I also didnt feel pressure to buy or rushed. I was treated like a person instead of a transaction. The best part: I got a beautiful, fun bike and a shop I feel I can trust with repairs down the road. 5/5 Recommend!

Stopped by this morning just to take a look. I was greeted right away. The staff was very friendly. Ive had my eye on a particular Giant Hybrid bike but the Giant website said so retailers around me had it. Walked in this morning and there was my bike. They had just put it together yesterday. Jason worked with me and got me all set up. Im so happy to be riding again. Thanks for all the help!

We had the absolute best bike tour with Erik! We did LA in a Day and opted for the electric bikes, which we are so glad we did, LA is very hilly and this is an all-day event. We felt like we could really sightsee while cruising around instead of trying to push through the hills without taking in our surroundings. Erik was such an amazing tour guide. We felt like great pals after spending all day with him. He is so knowledgeable about the area, as a native, and with bike safety. I felt 100% safe the whole tour. He was great with communicating with pedestrians, other cyclists and drivers to keep us safe and not have to worry about a thing. We learned so much and saw more than we ever could have on our own. I am so glad I booked this as a birthday gift for my boyfriend. We were only in LA for 2 nights and this was the perfect way to get a feel for so many different areas with limited time. The staff made my boyfriend feel so special, too, when we got back to the shop. We were blown away by their hospitality. I can’t say enough great things about our tour guide, this tour and this company. We wish they had tours like this in every city, but we will definitely book through them again when we find ourselves in LA. Stay awesome, you all are knocking it out of the park!

This bike has been a great aide win keeping me active when there is no access to a gym. The even made a quick repair for a operator error. Really passionate guys in the cycle community.

I didnt end up buying a bike but I spoke to a sales person on the phone before going. I was trying to get an estimate. While they didnt have anything in my size the sales person was very knowledgeable since Ive never even been asked how tall I was. He really knew the bikes they had and if it would work or not. I was very surprised at the service here compared to other places so I would probably come by here for bike repair tune up if I buy a new bike again. This sales person was really good and I was very pleased at how good the service was!!

The bikes we purchased were fully loaded and ready to ride. The service was great. Social distancing was in effect and we picked up our bikes contact free. Highly recommended!

This seems to be one of the few bikes shops that still has any bikes left, plus their teoair shop’s turnaround time is quicker than the other nearby service centers. Helpful staff with the perfect socially distant setup as bikes and interaction is all setup outdoors.

In wake of corona, a lot of bike shops have been closed out of stock and requiring multiple days for simple repairs. When I called bike shop LA they were going to close soon, but stayed open for my repair. They did a good job and charged a very reasonable price!

I bought an amazing bike here for a great price. They did a great job at keeping on top of social distance procedures by keeping all of the bikes outside and by having no direct contact with customers.

Such a wonderful experience. Bought a lovely bike at a great price, service was amazing and they followed all social distancing protocols!

DO NOT PAY IN ADVANCE!They were only able to fix my bike half way but still charged $64 for it. While I’ve mentioned them from the beginning that I’ve only have a small budget to fix this bike. Plus had to argue to get a $16 refund for a part they didn’t change but was included in the bill. Job was supposed to take the afternoon but took 5 days and that after I called them twice about it.

I went in for a new gear cassette. They said theyd have to order it. They quoted a fair price so I said yes. It took almost 2 weeks before they got it. They then informed me the axle was damaged and said itd be cheaper to buy a new wheel rather than replace. Wrong. There was absolutely nothing wrong with my wheel. Its a new wheel and much better than the one they wanted to sell me. On further investigation, I learned from a real expert, the axle is fine. All I needed was a new free wheel cassette. I purchased it online and fixed my wheel myself. Ill never go back to Bike Shop LA.

Great place and polite staff. The gentleman named Aldo (staff) assisted me with a brake repair. The work on my bike was completed in no more than 15 minutes, and he did a professional job. Absolutely recommend this business!

They were very unprofessional with their timing. The person in charge of maintenance told me that the part will take a week to arrive. I came the weekend after asking for him. He wasn’t there the person there didn’t know anything about the transactions. Told me that the maintenance person will call me to confirm the situation. Never called me and casually a different person calls me says my bike is ready 3 days after. It cost me about 60 dollars for them not planning well. I am a student and I depend on my bike to go to school. Never going to them again.I never write comments but their unprofessionalism made me have to let it out.

Great local bike shop. Competitive prices and the TLC is tough to beat. Bought a bike for myself and got such a great deal, I decided to get one for my son on the spot. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable. Clear from the moment you walk in that they want the best for their customers.

This is the most unprofessional and dishonest bike shop ever.They blatantly up charge “because of Corona” for everyday issues. They are the definition of predatory business behaviors. They do not care about customers at all. They only care about making as much money as possible in the midst of all the chaos the world is in.They tried to charge me to put air in my tires.No one should support this business. You should run away from this business. The owner should be ashamed of the values he has instilled in his employees.

Jason the manager was very helpful and kind. When it comes to fixing bikes or just purchasing bikes products, this is the best place to stop. The lowest prices are here! Tune ups flat repairs or bike repairs? This is the hospital for bikes! Best bike and hike tours!

There are a lot of bike shops in LA, but I highly recommend you try Los Angeles Bike Shop. I can assure you youll never need to go anywhere else.

I recently stopped by just to browse the store and ended up purchasing a used bike for an incredible deal. The bike is in perfect condition. The mechanic, Hank, was super friendly and knowledgeable. So glad this place opened right next to my house!
