This is a decent spot to purchase liquor drinks! In case youre searching for a unique wine that something with a story behind, certainly this is the shop youve been searching for. Their staff was exceptionally useful and aware. Fantastic choice of wines, and great costs contrasted with some different shops we went to!
I really really really wanted to LOVE their sandwich. I got their roasted Turkey breast sandwich, which is one of their more popular options. And honestly, it was solid. But i was a little overwhelmed. The bread wasn’t as good as I’d hoped it’d be, the outside of the baguette was a little stiff and stale. And I went during peak lunch hour on a Saturday. Considering I waited about 30 minutes, I don’t know if I’d go again. There are soo many good sandwich shops all over LA. But cute shop! If there’s a short line, I’d like to try another sandwich in the future.
Best Sandwich I have had in the days!! French roll is spot on! Extra Balsamic Vinegar! Totally hit the spot
I shouldnt give this place a 5 star review since I already have to wait in line for their sandwiches. But, I guess I am too honest for my own good. These are AMAZING sandwiches. The baguette is also amazing to the point they run out every single day. We live a block away and have enjoyed this place for years.
Your directions: Find the area where Eric or Aram are pouring. Peruse the encyclopedic wine list, order some popcorn with rice, almonds and truffle salt and some olives with feta. Ask questions, tell them what flavors you crave. Order a flight and ease on into it. Arams one-liners are entertaining and the soft-spoken wine expert Eric made our afternoon so enjoyable. We tasted the US vs. Italy and the US vs. Spain.
Drinking wine is something I love doing everywhere I am. The wines in this shop were one-of-a-kind and usually sweet. I did come across a good Pinot noir and two good blends. Even the rates are very reasonable. Ana, our tasting room hostess, was awesome and added to the enjoyment of the tasting experience! I will undoubtedly return.
One of the best sandwiches I’ve had in Los Angeles soo far! I always get the full Turkey with cheddar and extra spread!! If not honestly it will be kind dry. It’s soo delicious though. Always fresh ingredients!!
So far, nothing beats this wine shop for its facilities, wine choices, and food. Its a perfect place to have a casual date with someone you love. Love your view from above. Great food and atmosphere. A little costly, but worth the money. I highly recommend this wine shop to everyone I meet.
I have been there twice and every time. I was impressed by the atmosphere. The place was really great and relaxing. This is a perfect place to kill your time. The coziness of the place matches up the wine. It was such a great winery shop. The foods were also great. I will surely stop by here again.
The wines in this store are one-of-a-kind.I came across a good Pinot noir and two good blends. The rates are very reasonable. I will undoubtedly return.
Great Deli with delicious sandwiches.Maybe you might run in to Phil (Somebody Feed Phil)
Local whisky, spirits and much more. In-store tastings and really supportive employees and adorable bottles can be made. In this wine store, what else can I say? They had everything you wanted. The wine I bought from this place was so tasty. Im going to visit this wine shop again for sure. An amazing shop like that.
Im going to give this wine shop a five-star wine because of its outstanding wine offerings. The workers here are very helpful and professional about their jobs. They really have a large range of wines, and Im glad that there was everything I wanted. I couldnt ask for more of the service from these guys because it was truly good. Thank you very much!
This wine shop comes highly recommended because they have a fantastic selection of wines! They have some good wines that are also very inexpensive! This is a wine store you wont want to miss!
We went in for a light lunch and to see what wines they had to offer. Blew our doors off on both, lunch and wines. We were six hungry folks. The waiter suggested the best one for a night. Were so happy that the taste of the wine is really great. We are all satisfied. Thank you so much!
This wine shop is amazing! Thank you incredibly much!
For cheap beers and wine, this wine shop has it all. This is the booze and wine shop destination in the city. The best in this shop was their price was very affordable compare to other wine shops in the city. Last week, I had the greatest shopping experience. I came here for my dads birthday present because he loves wines. Thanks, Fred, for being so helpful in picking the best wine for my dad. Thanks!!
The sopressata sandwich on baguette is awesome!
The room was very spacious and tidy. The wine was delicious, and the team were giving excellent recommendations depending on what you told them your options are. Its certainly worth a visit!
Superb selection of wines, liquor and the best cheese and delicious sandwiches in LA.Great warm and friendly atmosphere 👌
The man really knows his wines. This good-natured man is passionate about wine and offers a large selection of top Italian wines at reasonable prices. We strongly recommend any visitor to come to this place. They all have a good selection of wines.
Incredible wine selection and most knowledgeable and friendly staff. If they dont have it, they will find it for you.
This wine shop is the perfect place for your alcohol and booze needs. They had a wide range of varieties of wines and beers. And they cost much cheaper than any other wine shop in the city and in the malls. You can dine and eat here also, they have a very chic and comfy seating inside. They also had macaroons, pastries, and bread, too.
This wine and cheese store is actually a robust sandwich shop. Sandwiches are reasonably priced relative to the quality and size they offer: “large” is literally large. Usually, line gets formed in the peak lunch time, but it will only be about 5 minute wait standing. They receive phone call orders as well. Pickle and olive come with the sandwich. It is a neighborhood gem. You always have a ton of public and street parking spots everywhere. Street parking is busy most of times. If all filled, you can park next streets in the neighborhood (which is always empty) and walk a few minutes.
What a great little find. Love this place with its lovely owners. I have been here only two times but both times I was so happy with the quality of the food and service. The prices are so reasonable and the quality of the food is top notch. Place is very clean. I also want to say they have great beverage choices. I recommend this place full heartedly.
Top spot for sandwiches. And very knowledgeable about wine. Best collection of rose and sparking rosé. Get the #6 sandwich!
Although friendliness is not the high point here, the sandwiches are one of my top #2 in all of LA. But the wine selections are excellent and theres also lots of little high quality surprise items around the shop. Its busy, tiny and wonderful! Real French baguettes in LA? Call in your order to avoid a long wait during rush hours, basically when the sandwich bar is open!
Excellent food! Linguini with clams was so good! Wife got the tortellini and gave me a few bites, very rich and decadent. Good portions as well we were both full after our meals and will definitely be returning.
There is a wine fridge for tasting. The staff makes great recommendations on the best wines or bottles from the shop that makes for a good dinner party. Private wine tasting sessions and champagne nights are very sociable and well recommended. I love this place for they provide the best service. Thanks a lot!
Dessert tasty, coffee strong expresso outstanding
Rustic little French bakery tucked away from the bustle of La Brea in the Larchmont Ave district with great charm and outdoor eating (during these COVID times) Sandwiches are quite authentic and brimming with taste. Gotta go back and try out the wine and cheese next!
Sandwiches are delicious but lines get long :(
After all these years this place is still the best 💓
Good place to hang out on Sunday at the famers market
Very good selection of wines, cheeses and sandwiches. Grumpy female cashier. Knowledgeable staff in other departments. Very good at observing Covid regulations.
LOVE THE SANDWICHES !! order a number 4, you won’t be disappointed. Amazing place.
Fresh, tasty, large sandwich. Reasonably priced. Everything you want in a sandwich shop. Its tucked away in a tight little space between apartments, a parking garage and sky scrapers, but it packs a big punch. Drink selections could have been better. Overall, great place.
Best sandwich in LA no discussion
Helpful and Friendly Staff. Good Selection!
Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Place is clean and well equipped.
Reminds me of a NYC deli. Outstanding quality ingredients. Great selection of sandwiches. You can literally taste each ingredient in every bite. I thought I made a good sandwich, but this place is pure magic.
Fresh, tasty, large sandwich with a reasonably priced. Everything you want is in this shop. Its tucked away in a tight little space between apartments, a parking garage and sky scrapers, but it packs a big punch. Drink selections were great. Overall, great place.
Great sandwiches, good wine and a lot of great specialty food items! All in the cute Larchmont Village.
I love this place! This deli is the best. My favorite sandwiches are Prosciutto (#5) and the Salami (#3). I usually cant decide on one and end up getting both in the small sizes. The olives that come with the sandwiches are also delicious. They also have an amazing collection of wine, cheese, and imported snacks! I pick up a bag of chips, drink, and sometimes some cheese while Im here. The line can get long but it usually moves pretty fast. Issue is the seating!! On a nice day, its pretty difficult to find a seat outside. But you can usually find one if you stand around for a bit!Definitely worth the visit, and you can get dessert across the street!
You gotta get the Turkey and Prosciutto sandwich on a baguette. Make sure you get it with everything and load on the balsamic and olive oil. This is a staple-point lunch for me. Probably once a week occurrence. The sandwiches are amazing and they have a great wine selection. Some of the Vineyards / Bottles i like, i can only find here.
Love this place! They have a delicious sandwich shop inside that you wouldnt expect. They also do gift baskets and you can load up a basket with whatever items youd like and they will put together a custom gift basket for you.All the workers here are friendly and knowledgeable on the wine and liquor they carry. They definitely helped me find new and great Bourbons on multiple occasions.
I want to call this one of the best hidden gems in LA but the growing line tells me its not a secret anymore. This adorable little wine and cheese shop sells the BEST sandwiches Ive ever had. You can order in advance or wait in the line at the deli counter. The staff works incredibly fast and the quality never suffers.I love their roasted turkey breast sandwich $9.50 and their fresh mozzarella sandwich $8.00. You can also order half sandwiches if youre not hungry enough. Their ciabatta bread is always fresh and delicious. This is a must stop if youre in the area!
An all star Deli, fantastic wine selection. Call ahead to skip the line. I used to skip class for these sandwiches... worth it!
I love all of their sandwiches! They are so good and are very fairly priced. But I always feel like they are not very friendly to me when I order the sandwiches. Maybe because they are very busy and I tend to be a bit indecisive & my English is not perfect...? So I get nervous whenever I order sandwiches there. But I love their sandwiches! They also have excellent olives & cheese, a fun variety of sodas and snacks.I dont drink at all but they have a lot of different kinds of wines and its fun to look around for gift shopping.
I finally got a sandwich from here and was maybe expecting too much? The flavors were great, and the baguette was great, but I got one thin slice of meat and cheese on my sandwich. The ratios were just not right and I felt like I was just eating bread with some tapenade on it. I understand the style they’re going for and I appreciate it but they could have still achieved that with a few more slices of meat and cheese. Kind of sad since it’s the only sandwich shop in the village.
This is one of my all time favorite Los Angeles Sandwich places. Ive been coming here for sandwiches since I was in high school. Even then, the line was crazy, but you know its worth it.Friendly tip, the store itself opens at 10am, but they dont start serving sandwiches until 11am.My personal favorite is the number four, which is turkey, on a baguette, with avocado and extra tomato spread. The ingredients are super fresh, and you can taste the quality and know youre getting the best of the best. I think there are about eight or nine different sandwiches you can choose from. While youre waiting in line, you can peruse the specialty items and find things you never knew you needed. Hello impulse buys. The reason for four stars instead of five is that some of the people who work there, arent super friendly, even when you are clearly trying to be nice. I get that a lot of people come through here, and maybe not everyone is super nice, but try not be so prickly! And a forty to fifty minute wait for sandwiches over the phone?Thats a little crazy. But other than that, I love this place and will always try to make a stop here.
Absolutely love love Love... is that enough loves to convey how much I love their delicious turkey on baguette? Highly recommend calling in your order before coming to the store. The line gets pretty long. They also carry a variety of curated wines. Great selection of imported chocolates, cookies, and glass bottle sodas and teas. Limited outdoor seating. Parking can be tough to find depending on the time you go. Located on the Larchmont village strip. Also, make sure to check your sandwich order before you leave, I come here at least once a week, and a couple of times (bc they are so busy) I will get a different sandwich than what I ordered. Other than that MUST try if you’re in the area.
Great sandwiches. I ordered half salami half prosciutto. The bread was tasty, the meats had the right amount of saltiness and the salads were fresh. Big portions. Make sure to order ahead of time if you are on a rush. Parking might also be tricky.
This is one of the most fun menus for a deli style restaurant youll ever find. The quality and price are much better than expected and the food tastes amazing. Youll leave full for sure but try to save room for dessert.
Sandwiches are excellent. Order online for faster service. Meats and bread is fresh and there are lots of choices.
If you havent been here for lunch, you havent had lunch! I am transported back to the South of France every time my husband and I have Lunch in this charming little shop! They bake the bread fresh each day, slice the meat just for you, and their homemade spreads and olives are to die for! Dont even get me started on their wine and imported chocolates...
These people are sooooo cool. I mean cool cool cool. Thank them every time you spend money there, they are worth every penny.Tell them you want a Peter-Italian (thats my sandwich ... parma prosciutto, salami, avocado, olive paste and their usual burrata cheese, arugula, oil and vinegar.Soooooooo good!Love these people!Peter
This place has been a fixture on Larchmont 4 over 30 years. This store maintains the feeling charm of its early days well also staying Successful by catering to a new crowd with sandwiches that always draw line and are really fresh. If you want a good fresh sandwich or a good bottle of Scotch and need advice about it or any other type of top shelf wine or spirit that you want to pick correctly this is the place for you.
My go-to sandwich shop! Theyve mastered the perfect simple sandwich.
Tried out many of their subs 🥪 and they’re so good. it comes with pickles and olives as well. Great service 👍🏻
Great sandwiches. The owners and staff can be a bit unfriendly. The store has amazing products and fair prices on wine and cheese. Great seating out front to eat your sandwich and watch people. One of a kind place.
Archmont Village Wine, Spirits & Cheese is pretty much a wine/spirit lovers dream come true. Their selection is amazing. Im more of a spirits person so I cant speak to their wine selection but these guys are able to get their hands on really special stuff, ie barrel picks, cask strength special bottlings etc.
Every neighborhood store that does not gouge you deserves to be just there. - in the neighborhood. Good selection of wine and cheese. A very worthwhile addition to Larchmont.
Always loved and warm atmosphere
Came for a sandwich during the lunch rush on a weekday; there were two lines, one for the sandwich counter and Ive for the register. Both moved faster than I expected and after I had the sandwich, I found it was worth the wait for me. Also gave me time to pick out snacks and a drink. The menu has a handful of sandwiches the deli counter bang out fast. If you go with a friend park them in the register line while your get the sandwiches.
I absolutely love this place even if I always get the same thing over and over again! The gem of Larchmont Village Wine Spirits & Cheese is their Turkey Sandwich (available on a baguette or ciabatta), absolutely amazing! The bread is fresh and crisp where one side is layered with balsamic vinaigrette and olive oil and the other side with a mixed mayo, yum! Inside, the sandwich has layers of turkey, greens, and cheese. Even though the sandwich sounds simple, it has the perfect blend of a Turkey Sandwich for a hot day!The best thing to do if youre not dining in (limited seating outside) is to call ahead and order your sandwiches. I see plenty of customers always picking up different bottles of wine, so Im sure they have some good selections and price. Last call for their sandwiches if 5pm unless they sell out and it has happen. Get a sandwich if youre in the area, you will thank me! Cheers!!!
Amazing food and even more amazing staff!!!
This place is always busy when I come here. Really nice shop and recommend ordering online if coming here for lunch. Proportions are great and sandwiches live up to the hype!! Parking: Is really hard just go to the Wells Fargo lot and tell the security your just stopping by real quick. Extras: They come w these little pickles and olives which compliment the sandwich so well. This place is one of my favorite sandwich places in LA. Recommend the #3, hands down the best sandwich here.
Best sandwiches in the city
I tried their turkey sandwich. I liked their hard baguette but its so rigid outside that it cut my lip on my first bite. I enjoyed the mount of turkeys and balsamic vinegar on my bread. It was bit too dry to eat at times. I especially enjoyed their little pickles and olives. I want to try their other sandwiches next time.
Great place for Sandwiches!
Sandwich nirvana; #3 on baguette is clutch. Great liquor selection and a solid place to buy a $10 bottle of wine. Sure, you could do it at the grocery store, but this place only stocks -good- $10 bottles of wine. Dont miss the candy-coated licorice with the lead warning on it. That stuff is delicious.
Ordered sandwiches from here for work, and everything tasted great! They offer timely service and even offered me help to my car where I was parked nearby. Very kind individuals!
I dont think theres anything that can match the experience of pairing simple, quality ingredients together for a beautiful result. The sandwiches at Larchmont Village Wine & Cheese are nothing fancy, just good quality ingredients to make for a filling and delicious meal. They dont do substitutions and sometimes the line can be a pain, but you can always call ahead and pick up. I recommend the prosciutto on a baguette.
#3 on baguette with extra balsamic. Ate it 3 days a week for 7 years. If I lived closer Id still be doing the same. Amazing. Wine selection is wonderful too.
All kinds of drink options. Good wine selection and reasonable prices. They also stock some high quality wines if you want to splurge. Knowledgeable and friendly staff.
Superb wine & cheese store on Larchmont, top staff with in-depth insights into the products. downside is parking on larchmont sucks badly, I prefer parking around the block.. still this shop easily make the extra walk well worth it.
The sandwiches are good but man... that girl at the register has a horrible attitude. I keep wanting to go back on my way home from work but nah 👋
Great sandwiches......pricey for booze.....very unique selection of high end snacks
Great sandwiches. Fast service.
This is a review for their sandwiches. They serve sandwiches from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday - Saturday. Choice of ciabatta bread or French baguette. I ordered the #1: fresh mozzarella, tomato, basil, extra virgin olive oil & balsamic vinegar on a French baguette! It was awesome! It is a simple sandwich with few ingredients but tastes great. It is light and really fills me up! I cant wait to come back to try their other sandwiches. The prosciutto looks so good!Ordered:--- #1: fresh mozzarella, tomato, basil, extra virgin olive oil & balsamic vinegar on a French baguette. $7.00/$4.00 (full/half)Definitely recommend this sandwich!
Best Sandwhiches in town! Go with the #4 soo good and get it on a bagguette roll.
Fantastic sandwiches. All of them are great combinations of fillings with delicious bread
Amazing treasure trove of unique wines and spirits. Great fresh deli which can craft catering platters as well and has awesome sandwiches.
The people making the sandwiches can be kinda rude if you dont know what you want to order, but lines get busy so I understand. They make really good sandwiches so I keep going back despite that. Worth checking out for sure!
We had the Black Forest ham and the turkey Brest sub. Both were great. Had some sides mozzarella balls with sun dried tomatoes- also great. Would definitely go back and recommend to anyone.
I love snacking here. i look forward to a return visit. the place has a nice feel to it.
Really cute place! Amazing cheese plate!!!!! I miss their Caesar salad though... off the menu :(
Sandwich was great! Woman, excuse me the child who was at the register, a complete idiot! I odered 5 sandwiches with chips and sides, no smile, get done paying and thought bag was included. If not, why would she not address that when I have my card out and paying for the food. She was a complete idiot who didnt know how to provide customer service. Dead in the face. Hire classy adults who are professional please!
While they have a very limited menu, these sandwiches are among the best in town (right alongside Bay Cities and Tamarind Avenue Deli). A great wine store as well. My personal favorites are the #3 (salami) or #5 (prosciutto) and Im preferential to the baguette bread over the ciabatta.
One of the best sandwiches in LA
The best sandwiches in LA.
Do yourself a favor and try this place. service is consistently good. bring your appetite because portions are generous.
Beautiful wine market with wide selection of wine, cheese and lunch options.
My favorite Italian sandwich in LA. Hands down. Great wine selection too and a handful of craft beers.
