Been here in LA for years and never knew about this place till today. It’s an amazing little market with a deli and carries pretty much everything from beer, to lotto, cigarettes, hot and prepared food, wine and other little items you may not find at your local liquor store. The people working there are helpful, friendly and nice. It’s a little spot on Vermont that is a little hidden gem and you would not know it from the outside but it’s a nice little deli tucked away in a very busy corner. Have not tried the deli yet so I will definitely add a few more sentences once I do. But yeah great little spot.
This is the most amazing place Ive ever have the pleasure of visiting. It has everything you need and more. The owners are two of the nicest people that you have ever met. There are not many places like this left anywhere.
It has recently changed ownership from an old couple to a younger couple? Of Koreans. They are very friendly. They recognize their patrons. Their store seems bigger, brighter, cleaner and more organized. I recommend the mango and passion fruit bobba drinks. One time their money order machine was down, but it worked fine all the other times I tried to get one. It is right next to the vermont cleaners and theyre open later now.
I ordered delivery and they did not give me a drink or make an effort to refund me my drink or help me. They told me I could come and pick up my drink. Which is stupid as I ordered delivery for a reason. Food is ok. Unhelpful people.
I visited this market a couple months ago and I purchased a water. The woman working here said something offensive toward me in Korean to her co-worker she didnt think I would understand. Havent been back since and I will no longer support this business.
Over pricing for small things
