I just bought a 21 year old, pretty poorly cared for McMansion that included a nasty-old awning that looked like it belonged in some French provincial nightmare. It was frayed, ugly and needed to die.I started looking for firms to help me get this seemingly simple fabric replacement done and I couldnt have failed harder in the early stages. Many didnt want the work. Most wouldnt come out to measure. Many of those were willing to give me quotes ranging from $1,750 to $5,000 to replace the fabric on the 12x14 awning. Thats just absurd. What was even worse was the $1,750 one wanted FOUR WEEKS to do the project as of last Friday. When their project manager called me this past Monday the timeline had changed to TWELVE WEEKS. The new NFL season will be over by then. No thanks.Enter Major Awning. They beat everyones price. They came out the NEXT DAY to measure. They took the old fabric away on a Thursday and were back Saturday morning with fresh, new, black Sunbrella fabric. They installed it, cleaned the awning parts and were done in an hour.Why cant all subs be this good? 5-stars.
