An incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and honest working man. He runs his business alone so allowing him time to work on a car is your best bet. With that you can count on a superior well job done. Hes made a reputation out here in LA through his work ethic, for every time I come he has at least 2 regulars awaiting. Ive even become pals with two other regular clients, one of which has been coming here for 15 years. Ive found it to be beneficial having patience with him when he speaks to you about your car, and also by asking him questions to better clarify, if needed, afterall the guy gives great tips on and about cars, especially after working on yours specifically.

I paid $390. For nothing he did not fix anything and I demanded my money back he then said he credited my debit card and I still have not seen the money! He knew he was ripping me off! Better get my money in a couple of days or will go get my money in cash from him!

Had gone to pep boys for a suspension check because my car was squeaking and grinding every time I turned the steering wheel. They said it was a wheel bearing. They quoted me a price which was insanely high. After searching and calling around, this place was the best deal. It turned out it wasnt even the wheel bearing! It was a lower control arm bushing! Thats the last time I go to pep boys. I was satisfied with the repair price and a job well done! Will be coming back! Thank you!

Melrose Auto Repair Shop is the only place my car is going for repairs from now on. The staff is friendly and doesnt talk down to me (something Im acutely aware of, as a non-car-savvy woman). They know I cant always fix everything right away so Joe tells me what I need to do now and what can wait. They even dropped me off at the el stop. Prices are reasonable, and what they estimate is what you pay -- no surprises. Go Joe!
