They will lie to you. A guy works for AAA took me there he said “this thing is very easy to fix, will only cost $80 at most,” but then it turned out $500...I asked, “where did you fix? Where is previous parts? “They only told me, “your car’s parts were broken, so we already threw them away.”

Louis is the best mechanic ever! We were visiting Santa Monica and our alternator went out. The alternator ended up being a hard one to get to (VW Jetta) but he made sure that our repairs were done same day so we could get back on the road to AZ. Good price, great service, and he really saved our bacon. Cant recommend this shop enough.

I have been to this garage several times. Efficient, communicative service with reasonable prices. I cant recommend it highly enough if you need service ranging from a belt replacement to something more serious.

Honest, helpful and hardworking. I was in a pickle and needed to get my brothers Tahoe fixed before I drove it to Austin for him. He is a mechanic for the coast guard and was just stationed in Guam. The owner Luis personally helped me and brought up some other problems that could have been a safety risk on a long drive. I was quoted fairly even to my brothers standards as a mechanic himself and what I appreciated the most was that Luis took the time to show me all the broken parts and explain to me how they worked and how to fix them. The work was finished ahead of time and because of that I tried to give Luis $100 extra but he wouldn’t take it. I’ve lived in LA for 7 years and never met a business owner so honest. I would highly recommend L & L to anyone.
