I have been coming to highland auto repair for years. Gabriel is the man! We call him El Niño!! They are always friendly quick nice and fair. Strong recommend I even moved and I drive miles back every time I need an oil change because they are worth it

The best auto repair shop in Northeast LA! They are professional, prompt, and honest; Especially being a woman who knows absolutely nothing about cars, I know I’m not getting ripped off and I’m getting my money’s worth. My check engine came on and showed up with no appointment, but Yoel was kind enough to take me in ASAP (on his day off with a superstar). Gabriel is knowledgeable about car maintenance and helped me fix my brakes, A/C, as well clearing out the “bad” gasoline for my car. What a lifesaver! Shout out to Yoel and Gabriel for being so kind, patient, and welcoming! This is definitely going to be my “go to” auto shop from now on.

Gabriel is one of the best mechanics out there, I’ve been coming here for ten years and never had an issue.

Recommended by insurance company, I took my car in for collision repairs. As friendly as the staff was, the whole experience was very unprofessional. The quality of the service was horrible. I had valuable personal belongings from my trunk lost. My rear windshield was broken, were I had my LMU sticker, which was never replaced. The finish on my cars exterior bumper was unfinished and paint started peeling off in a week. On the top of my car, the hood was not glued/sealed properly becuase now water leaks into the back side door. This means every time I wash my car or it rains water leaks in, damaging the fabric on the rear passenger side. When it came to punctuality and professionalism, they would not give me back an estimated completion date, nor would they follow up my text messages and calls. It took three months to get my car back. On the day I received my car back, they had me come in past closing time. It was very strange, there was only one worker. My car was not ready to go. My trunk was missing bolts and covers. Interior of my car: bolts that hold the roof of car were missing, a side door cover was inserted incorrectly(practically coming off), and personal belongings that were inside my car were lost. I now have to deal with the insurance company again and find a more professional auto repair shop. This is very disappointing becuase I have been living in Highland Park all my life, and was hoping for more professional work during emergencies such as these. Please do your research before taking your car to any mechanic or auto shop so you dont go through such a headache during the process and after, now that I have to do a reclaim with the insurance.
