I love the new NoHo store. They have managed to keep this place feeling as comfortable as the old store in Hollywood. Great service and cool merch. I can spend hours and dollars here.

Had to go here two days in a row to pick up stuff for a new studio and had a great experience both times. Customer service was excellent, and they had huge selection where places like guitar center had none. I will be coming here for all my studio needs. 10/10

I thought this was a gold mine until I realized it was fools gold. Have a great selection of many things but often on the cheap side. Unfortunately, they wouldnt refund me for the crappy adapters that wouldnt work, without packaging, so my business goes elsewhere.

With the demise of Radio Shack I found myself in need of a new electronics store. Not just any old electronics store though but rather one that carried a vast selection of parts and accessories that were not your mainstream electronics. An electronics store that carried just about every shape, size, and voltage of every battery that has ever found its way into electronics gear (much like the battery selection at Radio Shack...RIP). I found all of that and more at And from. It doesnt look like much from the outside. You might not even realize that there is an electronics store here. Wait until you get inside though. It is electronic geek heaven. They even have an equipment rental division where you can rent the high end HD camera or audio mixer etc... That you need to finish a project. My only complaint is that it is sometimes hard to find those small electronic parts you are looking for because there is just aisle after aisle of diodes, circuit boards, cables, connectors etc. That is a pretty trivial complaint though when you consider that this place really is a one stop electronics store store. Oh....and if all of that wasnt enough, the prices are great too.

Walked in after years of debating a turntable upgrade. I live in the neighborhood and went into the old location a few times to look around. But the other week Marlen styled me out with the just the right Pro-Ject table for me. Buying local is always a good choice, got her setup before I left and gave me all the advice I could need.

Brought in an entry level receiver that had the sound cutting out to Ametron Electronics in Los Angeles for repair. The service guy there walked me through what was happening and narrowed it down to two things; both of which would be about as expensive to fix as getting a brand new replacement of similar quality. They did all of this for free while I was there and saved me the hassle of trying to fix it when it wasnt worth it. Very honest and I would use them for any other electronic repairs I would need in the future. That rates five stars in my book!

Worst electronic store in SoCal. Once you start talking/asking about diodes, resistors, soldering and ohms measurement, youll find yourself trying to teach someone whos working in an electronic store what it is they do have but have no clue where/what it is!?!? At least Radioshack tries to help you. Rude customer service, uneducated in whats surrounds them, very unorganized inventory and then (if youre lucky finding what it is youre looking for) youll get overcharged. Save time and money -BUY IT ONLINE!!!!

Parked here Sunday 7/9/17. Took the kids to Hollywood for the evening during our recent vacation. The attendant said they close at 10. We came back at 9:57 and the huge metal gate was closed and locked. There was no phone number to call. After freaking out for a bit, i finally think to google them and find a number but its the number for the store and theyre closed. My phone shows i called at 9:59, so obviously I was there before 10...I ended up having to pay for an Uber back to my hotel with the kids which was a 50 min drive. We were planning to stop for some food on the way back to the hotel (we were so busy in Hollywood we didnt have a chance to stop and eat so we were starving) and some milk for the morning because we were out but that plan got changed. Also ruined our plans for the next day. My purse was in the trunk of the car also. Thank God i had taken my credit card with me and not just cash because i would have had to take a cab and that would have been super expensive. And I also had to pay for an lyft back to Hollywood the next day to retrieve my rental car. I had to wait and keep checking for a time when the lyft price was actually reasonable. DO NOT PARK HERE!!! I was in California for a limited time and they took my money and my day from me!

Fantastic customer service - replaced my malfunctioned headphones free of charge despite being slightly past my warranty date. I was in and out of the store in less than 10 minutes.

Friendly storeman Mike walked me thru all I would need to make the finest film/tv audio kit. I then researched all he spoke to me about and found that not only the prices are the best the info given me was solid and useful. I spoke to a customer for a short moment about how he felt about this store and he told me that if you work in Hollywood in audio then get acquainted with Ametron as they will become my best knowledgable friends. I trust this place and will get my kit and all other purchases from them unless i find a better and extremely lower price on incidental items. They understand that too but it will be hard to beat their prices on anything. Wonderful store, people and prices.
