Great range of quality supplies at often unbeatable prices.Their seasonal sales are a huge bargain opportunity. Christina and Jennifer are two of the managers Ive had the most experience working with and they are both excellent in all aspects of customer service and knowledge of the stores supplies. As a professional artist for more than 20 yrs Im a big fan of this store and management.

So, I attempted to buy an airbrush here. Two stars because I did wind up successfully buying an airbrush here, but it took four employees, several returns due to the wrong item being retrieved from back stock three different times, and a long wait due to no cashiers being available.Under normal conditions, I would have purchased online, but tons of counterfiters have entered the marketplace and it is difficult to verify genuine goods online.

Great art supply store in Los Angeles. They have a wide variety of art supplies from clay to paint. The staff is very helpful and they’re always stocking up the store. If you’re looking for a a deal, there’s a clearance section in the back. There are hand sanitizer bottles at the entrance and at the cashiers counter as well as tape on the floor to help with foot traffic. They have a parking lot under the building and there’s also plenty of street parking around.

This is the only Blick’s location close to West Adams, it’s a great store for students, hobbyists, and parents looking for children’s art supplies. Busy store, but had what I was looking for. They have a huge variety of extra large canvasses. I bought my brand new colossal paint brushes! Good deal if you buy multiple brushes. Super excited about painting with them!

I was in Art heaven, shortly after arriving at the LAX airport. Wall to wall supplies for those who are creative at heart. To come into the Blick location, with actual canvases painted on the walls was quite inspiring. Looooooved the young woman whose shirt was bleached with a spine... thanks friends

They have soooo much to choose from. I definitely didn’t have to settle for the bare minimum in any of my needs. Great and friendly staff. Fast in and out. Cant wait to need more supplies!

Such a great shop. We went for graffiti supplies and framing. Excellent. They also have a selection of kooky things you didnt know you needed like a rain pancho for your bike and lots of kid toys. My favorite brand of imported Italian papers. The staff is knowledgeable and goes out of their way to help. The parking structure is gorgeous. I could spend hours there just photographing the street art.

Theres nothing to say but freaking amazing. Who doesnt love Blick? Plus their brand of paint are really amazing. Its hard to impress a person who only likes to paint and black and white LOL but theyre black pickmans amazing. The staff is amazing. The canvases are always on sale along with the paint. You can easily spend $200 there and get all of your moneys worth.

Blick is a completely waste of time. They do offer discounts to college students and the materials that you need for your class is highly pricy. I do not recommend coming here unless you want to spend your budget than going to a cheap art store. Not worth it

The Blick on Beverly Blvd. in Los Angeles needs help with their customer service.Assistant Manager Christina could have been more helpful.General rule of thumb, if you dont have an item at your location, offer to call your other locations to see if they have them. That small gesture speaks volumes when it comes to helping out customers and helps the company sell more items.I would think an assistant manager would practice great customer service to serve as a model for their team... instead I got cold responses and a general dismissive attitude.If you dont want my business thats fine.

Great selection, helpful people, and garage is filled with murals from some awesome artists I already follow - so that was as awesome surprise to see!

The individual at the front door was very kind very nice and helpful as I was looking for my item I had people asking me if I needed any additional assistance so I had a great experience !

Blicks has some great deals on materials and they’re pretty well stocked at this location. I refer street parking for this location since their downstairs parking is pretty small. Often they have these funny little things in front of the store that’s more gift materials that related to art and they change often. Gotta say theyre hilarious.

For years, Ive bought my art supplies here. They have what I want @ good prices. The ambience is safe psychologically & the staff are as kind as can be. The neighbourhood is upscale. Im not; Im poor as the year of the Rat, but I enjoy non-ratty shops.

[Good but Off-Putting]My experience was from start of the year, I liked the selection but... what was off-putting was the 1 employee who seemed to keep following me or you can see at the corner of your eye. Dude come on, I do mix media art I was deciding what media to buy dont make it uncomfortable for me. And especially if another co-worker had to confront him and tell him to stop bugging people. I should have gotten his name or confronted him but I was all ready annoyed and angry.Ill still shop but not at this location.

The employees are so nice and helpful over here. And the lady in the cash register is the best. Definitely will be coming back. They have unlimited supply of rit dyes too. Lmao.

Overall nice store. Most of the people working there seem like passionate artist who also love what they do at blick. Nice to see that. Very pricy for some of the same items you can find at places like jo-annes and they have coupons available for use all over the place. Blick only offers a 10% student or teacher discount I believe. (this may be wrong.) Nice selection and very organized. Kind of a uppity environment if youre a new person dipping into any type of medium this place can be kinda scary because the vibe is a little intense.

Very unique store. Definitely a great place for canvas, art boards, paints. GREAT selections of quality colors. I went to look for colored art boards, searching for more than basic colors (what you typically find at Michaels, etc.) and their color options were amazing. I actually found a match to the color I was hoping to just get close to (a dark wine red). the staff are great here - very helpful. Highly recommended. One note though: Traffic was not kind to me at 5pm. I recommend going off commute hours.

I was looking for a very specific type of paper to make some invites and another craft store suggested I try Blick, so I called them on the phone, and sure enough they had the product I was looking for. It was a bit of a drive from where I live and this place is very pricey. All of that being said, they were a life saver, the only other option was to buy the product online and hope it was the same when I received it. Very nice place, pretty much have anything and everything, I browsed for an hour or so and picked up a few more items for some other personal crafts I am working on. Thanks Blick!!!!!!!

I need help with a special project. I came with an odd-shaped image(scratch off map) needed to beautifully put into A-frame. Kyle at the design center (at your right as you enter). Kyle help me find a mint condition black foam core.Daniel finish the job and cut the mat for the frame.I was happy that we were able to put it all together for $10 plus frame!

I love this place! They have everything. My only complaint is ... the parking is terrible! It sucks! A few months ago, it appears that they sold half... or the majority of their parking to some studio. If youre lucky, you might not have to wait for a spot to become available. Anyways, once youre done parking, you walk upstairs and enter. Youll most likely be greeted by a happy worker. Inside, there is everything, I feel as if Im in art heaven. I just love the atmosphere while shopping for oil paint or new brushes. The workers there are usually really kind and helpful and will ask you if you need anything. They tend to know their stuff when it comes to art(every time I have needed suggestions/tips)4/5 because I hate the parking lot so bad besides the art on the wall

I love this place! The staff us helpful and knowledgeable. Basically all your art needs under one roof. The sales are great opportunities to stock up on basics. There are so many other cool items including coffee table books, games, and gifts. I recommend visiting before 6pm as parking can get a bit tough.

Great place! Very good variety of many different types of art supplies -- from childrens supplies to that of a professional. Staff was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Guided me to the areas I needed and waited while I made my selections. The cashier was very efficient and friendly, carefully packaged my purchases to ensure there was no damage . Getting ready to make another trip --cant wait! Fun place to be.

Best staff ever! Tell them what you want to make and they will help you find the materials to make it happen. I had the best person who answered all my questions and spent a lot of time going over all the products to create an abstract textured acrylic painting. We even went over gold leaf. It was AWESOME! Go, go, go to Blick Art Materials and discover your inner artist or use them as a resource for your professional art. Art is therapeutic so even if you dont feel you are an artist, Im sure they have a project or an idea to unleash your creativity. Indulging in creativity is a great way to feel inspired or even just process any stress. I wish they had classes, workshops or even online tutorials. Maybe they do. I have to check. I dont know if any local art groups advertise there. I will ask since the staff member who helped me was actually an artist. Its a fun experience. I highly recommend you go. Love this place!

I was really impressed with this store. Customer service was fantastic with plenty of knowledgeable and helpful associates available to answer questions. I was not accustomed to such a premier experience at an arts and crafts store. However, the high caliber experience and premium and exclusive products do come at a price. I highly recommend at least checking one of these stores out.

Block art is a very nice place minus the hipsters .The staff is excellent and poised to answer all questions.Wish they can send more coupons for artists on a budget .The parking lot is very small i recommend you park down the block if you dont mind walking an extra 30 yards.

A wide variety of everything you need in a art supply store. I recommend you apply for their membership though. Its free and will make everything cheaper. Compared to Michaels or Jo Ann, if youre a professional this is the place to go compared to other art supply stores.

I always find what I need for art projects. They also have a section with beautiful Handcrafted paper and huge selection of fun artsy gifts for everyone. The Underground parking has limited spaces but its covered with murals which I think its a must see.

Nice environment

Though its a minor art chain store... It feels like a mom and pop - complete with crowded isles brimming over with art supplies. I hadnt been in in about 15 years or more and it gave me the same sense of browsing pleasure that it had before. Also helped that the linocut items I needed were on the shelf.Theres a small parking lot under the store and if you get lucky therell be a spot. If not you may find parking on the street somewhere + but being Beverly Blvd parking is at a premium weekdays during business hours. If parking were easy Id give the place five stars.Also to be noted - the staff was plesent and helpful to a degree that made me a bit lightheaded... Bully for them.If youre not near a Blick + check them out online.

This is my favorite place to get art supplies. They have some awesome graphite and charcoal sets for a good price. People here are pretty cool and helpful and takes the time to actually talk to you and explain things. Would recommend of course!

Amazing staff very helpful and knowledged . Intimidated at first by so much stock. Its like a toy store for adults trust me. Dont be shy or afraid to ask for help for youll never learn if your good at something unless you try it. Come on go make a mess somewhere. Not only do they have the best art supplies in town they have the best people who know what to do with them. It might seem a little pricey at first but then you realize with art supplies you get what you pay for. And it Blick you get the good stuff.

Decent array of art supplies for a small outlet. Some other more independently owned mom and pop stores might have a better selection but for a chain its not bad. Try to support local smaller shops whenever you can.

Staff was very helpful trying to find a product it turns out they dont carry in the variation I needed. They offered to help me find it in other Blick locations. Staff of Blick are always helpful, and this location does not disappoint!

Blicks Art Materials carries many different brands of art supplies. I have been in Three different Blick stores and I have found the service to be very good. As someone who worked retail I know when I see a well maintained store with a very helpful staff.
