What a great little place to stop and eat. The owner was out of the floor taking orders and serving food. Of course she was making sure everyone was really happy as well. They were very busy when we arrived and we had a fairly large order, but our food came out quick and was hot when it was set down. Everything was very reasonably priced as well.
Good value, quick and friendly service. Very much a small town, mom and pop operation. I recommend!

First time here. Just ordered to go. Food was perfect and everyone is so friendly. Frech toast came out perfect. Happy I got to discover this hidden gem. Prices are fair for the amount of food as well. I live 5 min away and ill definetly be back.
Perfect mom and pop place for breakfast and lunch only. They are closed for dinner. It really doesn’t look like much but the best places are usually the hidden gems that don’t stand out in a crowd. Sunday’s are insanely busy and prices go up a dollar on the weekends but it’s still worth the money.

Excellent service great food ...cant beat the price...dining booth roomy and clean...did not wait 4 refills..plenty of napkins..I was living on the wild side with the Hillbilly breakfast..2 LG eggs toast potatoes link sausage and bacon with 4 pancakes and plenty of butter /syrup for only 6.95
What a great find for a place to have breakfast!!! Everything was cooked perfectly and served hot. I know for sure we will go back for breakfast and most likely lunch. 😀

The service was good. The atmosphere was ok. The wait time was not too bad for a packed restaurant. The price was GREAT. The food was ok this time around. Its usually pretty good. But, the pancakes were very dry and rubbery. It took a lot of syrup to soften them up. We couldve just sent them back, but I really hate doing that when its so busy. And I know they are better then that so its not a big deal right now. We will be back as usual.
Food was so delicious, staff was friendly and service was quick. One of the only local places I can find that sells grits! So good!

One of the best little diners in the area. Reasonably priced. Waitresses and cook are very nice. The only time they ever messed anything up is when I got a dirty cup. But I continued to come here and have been coming here for almost ten years with my family.

Went for breakfast food was hot and made to order but..... there was minimal social distancing masks were on but had to ask the waitress to wipe the table and noticed when people left tables were not wiped down let alone disinfected. We are still in a pandemic people what the hell. Not so sure about returning.

It was my first time there. Staff was nice but took awhile to get our beverage and food was cold we told the waitress a few times before anything was done about it and they were not busy at all Im a bit disappointed 😞

Love this place! Before this crazy time, And AFTER REOPENING AFTER COVID I was sooo impressed with everything! Super clean! All the staff had masks. And food was DELICIOUS AND WAS DELIVERED QUICK! I will always be returning customers. I love this establishment

Since moving to Lorain, this diner has captured my heart, appetite, and wallet. Food is made to order and does not taste greasy or frozen. I love their omelettes, french toast, and lunch menu. The owner always always always has a smile and the staff is amazing, even when they are packed. Alyssa is our main lady and shes quick on her feet and super friendly. We have made this our local Sunday breakfast spot and will gladly wait for a table, knowing the food and the staff are worth it.

One of the best breakfast spots around. Always good food and service. Best part is they have Smuckers jelly not the cheap stuff. Never been disappointed and always happy to go back. Cant go wrong with the Hillbilly or Down home breakfast.

Homey restaurant. They serve you alot of food for the price. Its your typical diner food it tastes ok a little bland. The menus are dirty and sticky the place its self looks a little dingey but it seems to stay very busy. So they must be doing something right! Definitely affordable!
