The pictures say it all. What kind of manager allows a lumber isle to be completely blocked off? You couldnt get a cart through either side. I could find no one to help in a timely manner so I left and drove across town to Lowes.

The Tom Petty tribute band was excellent, the brunch was just okay. My waffle was cold and soggy, the chicken over cooked. It has to be hard for them because they are plating the meals instead of buffet style for safety purposes. I would definitely return, but would probably dine elsewhere and just enjoy beverages and entertainment at the venue.

Unfortunately i HAD to pick a star! Because i would give them none! I used to love Home Depot. Now i hate going here! Watching 7 workers walk past you as Im waiting for help with drywall is unacceptable! Im probably going to close our accounts there! Short on staff or not; you help the customer in the store before you help the 1 on the phone or not there yet!!!!!!!!

I find myself in Home Depot often, at least 5-6 times a week. I have been to many different locations within a 40 mile radius and this specific location blows others out of the water. The staff is quick to say hello and ask you if you need any help. The best part is that whoever is doing the hiring has got people who know their stuff!

I tried to purchase a $900 toolbox. It was supposed to be delivered on 9/30. I received a text that morning saying they would be delivered on this date. No one showed up on that day even though I called the store to confirm it was sceduled. I stayed home all day waiting for them to deliver, but nothing. I called them the following day and they said they didnt know why it wasnt delivered. We rescheduled because I was out of town for the weekend. They were supposed to deliver 10/6. Again I stayed at home all day. Called the store to confirm and no one showed up. I called custom service at 7 pm. The lady that answered put me on hold for 30 minutes and a manager picks up the phone to talk to me. I was on the hold for 30 minutes and they still didnt know where the toolbox was. Now remember the toolbox is at there store. After going through all this I canceled the order because I had zero faith it would come to my house. The manager was more than eager to cancel so they wouldnt have to deal with me or delivering the item. Today Im going to Lowes to get a tool box. I will never shop at Home Depot again.

Really upset 😡Went to buy a good toilet ask questions spent almost $200.00 was given the run around no one wanted to help me felt so discriminate against was told was one of the best product wasted my time money and patience paid someone to install when I got home did not even want it not what i expected and not pay again to disassemble to take back to the store what a wast... I would at lest expect a good toilet set so cheep and thin plastic not worth the $200.00 I feel so riped off... Lorain home depot needs to get it together sorry not one to give a bad review but iim am realy upset because of this situation

I recently ordered a new Weber grill, and selected in store assembly since it was advertised as free. Surprisingly, I got a notificayrd about thirty minutes later saying my order was ready for pickup. Since this was curbside, two guys loaded into my car and I drove home. When I opened the trunk I could see that the unit was dirty and that there was food in the bottom of the grill. Once I unloaded it, I noticed that it was the completely wrong item. The price tag was correct but there was a big sticker on the unit listing it as a different model. I called and spoke to a manager who said he had nobody to pick it up so I opted to return and get the correct item. When I described the condition and showed the manager Steve the pictures he agreed it was unacceptable but that was it. If an assembled item is going to be a display model this should be made known prior to purchasing. I will not return for larger purchases.

Have yet to receive a full online order. Arrive for pickup and half my stuff wasnt in stock despite the online inventory.

The older blonde lady who usually works in the paint section is AWFUL. Very rude no matter how sweet I am to her. She will also purposely stand there and ignore you. I’ve heard her be so rude to customers in front of me... honestly, I don’t know how she still has her job. I will go to Lowe’s for paint before I ever come back here again, AND, I’m painting a lot. Don’t get me started on the cashier and how she told me that you guys throw away all your plants that are “dead” instead of discounting them. And she thought it was funny?

I found what I was looking for and Im glad that Home Depot always have parts for my home plumbing, electrical and household items that Lowes never have. Please continue the great job and Im a diehard Home Depot customer for life.

I found it somewhat easy to search for certain items other than the ones i needed not availible. I rate a four star.

I like the Home Depot. I shop at all of the big home improvement stores and find them to have qualities I like and qualities I dont. Sometimes I get great help and sometimes I find the lack of help infuriating. More times than not, the Home Depot employees go above and beyond to be helpful. I appreciate being stopped in the aisle and asked if I am finding everything I need. More times than not, I dont need assistance but its still nice that this behavior is being encouraged by the corporate office. Thanks for at least pretending to care :)

There was no bar code on all drum augers. Had to go back, search unsuccessfully, then ask for help at the self checkout. Usually, I have positive experiences there.

I have never been treated as badly as I was today at the Lorain Home Depot. I was ignored in favor of male customers who walked up after I did and then told that plywood couldnt be cut to fit in my car. Ive shopped here numerous times and had wood cut without issue for many large projects over the years. I only ask for cuts to get it to where it fits in my car which is a Nissan Sentra. I will not return to this store where most of the long term employees know me by name. Ill shop at the Elyria store instead where I had zero issues getting the plywood I needed cut to size and placed in my car. Now I have more cuts to make to create my new book case.

Customer service representative was so rude. I didnt appreciate how she spoke to my husband in regards to returning a defective item. We spent a lot of money here and to be treated how he was makes me really think twice about the values of the company my husband and I put our hard earn money into. This occurrence has effectively become a reason I prefer other choices of business.

My daughter and I called the store to inquire about carpeting. The man on the phone, Roman, was very helpful! They did not have the carpeting in stock but he gave us a suggestion on how much flooring we needed as well as located another store in the district and called them to verify they had it on hand. He was very helpful in our carpeting search! We will be going to the other Home Depot location to pick up our order.

I know its not entirely their fault but prices have really jumped. I needed to buy a piece of premium pine lumber, could not find a straight piece, if I have to pay that kind of price for premium it had best be straight. Not enough selection of floor tile, could not find what Im looking for my half bath.

Maybe the the things that I was there to buy were all sold during the holiday decorating time, but I couldnt get some of what I wanted.

Seriously such a terrible experience. After over an hour in the store, we got pointed in 3 different directions to place a lumber order that we had. Two hours later, we were able to place the order and added delivery to it for the week after. The customer service rep said they would call the day before to let us know what time they would be delivering. That day we had no call. Called at 12pm they said it was out for delivery. Called at 3pm they said it would get delivered by 6. Called at 6pm because our delivery never showed up, they said they tried to deliver it to our house but was unable to (not sure why when we said to drop it off by the gate). Then they stated the delivery driver showed up to the store and left because he had no one to help load his truck. Called the manager a total of 5 times to get answers, he stated it could possibly get delivered the next day but couldn’t make any promises. Okay so I paid over $200 for delivery cost & hired a contractor for the work and now have to chalk up the money and figure out how I’m supposed to get the order and the contractor back on schedule. It’s seriously ridiculous how they wanted to make it our fault at first. Now currently trying to fight for the money back and if it goes anything like what we’ve dealt with so far we’ll be waiting a few months for it. Mind you this delivery was placed 1 1/2 weeks before the delivery date.

Love this place. They always have what I need. They also made me feel very safe from Covid. Everyone had a mask on every customer and employee.

No longer carry a lot of the items we went there for. This is the second time this has happened now. Store was clean. Most staff were friendly and helpful.

Typical Home Depot. I found all that I was seeking. I was disappointed to find that due to covid the garden center was closed off. One needs to enter at the main entrance to reach the garden center and then pay for garden supplies at the main cash registers. Also NO ONE was in the garden center to assist or answer questions. That would definitely have been a plus as well as a time saver since I was required to search for help in the main building. Also there was some confusion as to pricing; not everything was clearly marked.

Its like pulling teeth to get someone to help you. Before and during pandemic. They do have good products though.

Was at your store today and needed help with a caulking for the driveway to foundation, after searching the store for help I finally went to the pro counter and the guy acted as if I was bothering him so I got so frustrated I left the store and went to manards in Avon, everyone there is nice and go out of there way to help. I will never shop at home Depot again. This guy needs to be trained or replaced.

Be prepared to have your time wasted. Employees arent empowered to provide customer service. Waited 10+ minutes for help in the electrical section and ultimately left empty-handed and unhelped. Home Depot shareholders should consider reinvesting profits to the stores to hire and train staff to make customers satisfied and returning for continued future profits.

Horrible, never have I been treated so crudely at a Home Depot. I walked thru appliances and flooring not once asked if I can help you. Then went to paint and associate just leaned on desk and stared after a few moments of her just staring at me I said I need to have some paint matched, then normal procedure of what paint etc, but whole time I felt she didnt want to do my order, said it would be ready in 5min. I returned to get paint said thank you and she didnt acknowledge me and turn to a customer and was like hello how can I help you. The only conclusion I can draw from the difference in how I was treated as a customer and the next customer was that I was of color and the customer she welcomed was white. I asked to speak to a manager which Bill the assistant manager heard my story I truly felt he could care less.

I would be giving this a negative review if it werent for the amazing customer service associates! Thank you to HANNAH, THERESA, JACKIE AND JAZMIN for your hospitality, patience, understanding and humanity. They took charge and handled this appliances return as a team- Hannah doing the heavy work on the phone with tech support and escalation dept. and trying to work with the system that is soooo flawed! Their management team was absolutely uninterested in assisting us and was called 3 times before coming to help. Then did nothing at all. Over 2 hours in the store and not an acknowledgement of concern.Thank you Jackie and Thereas for getting us drinks and seats since we were standing there for far too long. Hannah and jazmin keep us updated as to what was happening throughout the delays after delays. And thank you to the IT dept for getting my funds released!

I love HOME DEPOT! however the little check out area is a little confusing. It seems to be the enter and exit backwards and everyone was confused going in and out the wrong way. 🤣😂 It is funny but also people were getting cut if they actually went the RIGHT WAY! its very confusing!

Never write negative reviews however I felt compelled to write one.We walked in and the “manager” glared at me while she was on the phone. Later when we had a issue with a return previously made, she was very condescending and made me feel extremely uncomfortable. I’m not sure how she made it to manager treating customers with an attitude and disrespect with disregard to our simple issue. This is not how you keep customers, it’s how you lose them. I’m glad to know that I inconvenienced her personal cell phone time.

Lots of merchandise to choose from. Competitively priced. Plenty of local shopping in area including big-box stores and restaurants. Plenty of parking handicap parking available also. Easy to spot from the road. Facility is well maintained and clean.
