We recently needed a mover ASAP, my wife called around and then called Red Carpet Moving. They said we got you, we will be there when you need us! So moving day came and the crew (Tyrone, Charles, Dre, and Big Baby) showed up and I’m telling you this crew is the ONLY crew I want to move my stuff! They did several things that were impressive to me and my wife, they got all of our stuff on the trailer and then when I was doubting they would get it all in storage they did, and didn’t break a thing. They treated our stuff like it was theirs and wrapped and packed it meticulously. Big Baby is a BIG MAN! He moved two freezers FULL OF MEAT by himself, and did it easily! My 6 year old loved Big Baby, these guys became family to us that day. I highly recommend this company and especially this crew! Tyrone can pack and store like putting a puzzle together and Dre is only 23, but he’s a hard worker and very respectful! Charles is good at making sure everything is wrapped and he’s the driver who gets it where it needs to go. Also, when my wife called to hire Red Carpet, the owners response was “Thank you very much for trusting us to do the job, and thank you for the work.” I’m going to use them again in a few weeks to move my stuff into my new house. BEWARE!***AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!***I have never posted something like this as I have been in some form of customer service for the last 15+ years and understand that everyone has their bad days.I just didn’t feel right not warning others.From the day of my initial move my experience with this company has been nothing short of horrendous. From being scheduled to move at 9AM and them not showing up until almost 2PM to the broken furniture/disappearing movers/holes in walls/etc, I have truly never had a worse experience with a company.It got to the point I was nearly begging them to just get everything through the door and leave.Since then I have contacted ElLIJAH, the owner/operator, for weeks asking for a receipt so my company could reimburse me for the $600-700 I had unfortunately spent with him. After a few initial responses from ELIJAH with “I’ll send it right over”, I have yet to receive a simple receipt after WEEKS of DAILY calls/texts/emails. Every day.All I need is a receipt so I can be reimbursed for the mistake I made by hiring this company. At the point I don’t care if it’s scribbled with crayon on a napkin, I just need something.I doubt I get any different results from this or even a response but if I do, thank you. Read the lowest reviews first and decide for yourself if you want to assume the risk.It has taken me nearly a week to not only gather my thoughts, but to catch up after doing the job THEY were supposed to do.My husband and I keep a packed schedule at work, so we decided for this move we would hire movers so that we could spend our energy unpacking, rather than moving everything ourselves like we have in the past.I spoke to Elijah on Wednesday about coming out and moving our belongings on Saturday. He told me the pricing, extra for the stairs etc. to which I said great. Price was a non issue. I was just happy that they were available. He was very charismatic on the phone and made me feel comfortable hiring them for the day.The 9am appt time came and went but no movers. Upon calling it was apparent that they didn’t have any intention of ever coming. Had to keep asking my name and address? But said we were down? Didn’t add up. They said their crews are routinely late as if that would make us feel better they weren’t there. Elijah called me back around 9:30 and said it would be another 45 minutes to get a crew there.Fortunately for us, their lack of professionalism gave us time to read the horror story reviews. We of course declined for them to come after that.Uhaul was sold out of trucks. I would up only being able to rent one later in the day for a short 3 hours. Cancelled my weekends appointments, but had my husband keep his so it wouldn’t be a total loss for us. I moved every box out of the house on my own, the dining table, everything down the flights of stairs.Instead of spending my weekend unpacking, I spent it making trip after trip in our Jeep. Then spent the following days struggling to get things done because my body hurt from all the lifting we were avoiding by HIRING THIS COMPANY.After reading the reviews however, it is abundantly clear that we were so so lucky.

I cant complain about the service. The crew showed up on time, was respectful and quick. The problem I had was the driver backed into my vehicle and now I cant get in touch with Elijah to resolve the problem. Ive left multiple voicemails and called two different numbers. That is not the appropriate course of action for this situation. He lacks in integrity, so anyone that is considering using this company think twice.

When Elijah shows up in his rig with his crew you know all is well .. they all know what to do and they make quick work of it. My furniture was wrapped in blankets secured with bands .. all arrived secure and safe. Very pleasant to deal with .. a lot of positivity, great personality, professional. All the right stuff. Use them!

Called yesterday morning to make sure everything was good because I hadnt heard anything from anyone. They said yes maam were all set for 9am tomorrow morning! Then 9:40 came around and I called them but no answer...called again at 10:00 ..still no answer, called again at 10:30 annnnnd still bo answer! No calls, no answers, didnt care at all! I will NEVER EVER use this company again! 4:30 pm and I was able to connect with new movers with Gooden moving solutions and they are on their way!!! Im only Giving them a 1 because I cant deliver a zero! Shame on them!!!!!!!!

My moving help had an emergency, so i had to call last minute it was no problem at all for them. they quoted me a time and even showed up early because they finished up there other job very quickly, super nice very friendly guys i would happily use them again best movers Ive ever worked with and Ive moved several times in my life .

Do not believe the Google reviews. Go look at Yelp! I would not recommend Red Carpet Moving. The movers were not careful with our belongings and home, constantly banging into walls and doorways throughout the entire move. They charge on an hourly basis but took their time on the move. Although we live in a typical 3 bedroom, 2 bath house, they were still unable to fit all of our belongings in their truck. We had to move the remainder of our belongings ourselves. One mover fell through our attic and left a large hole in our garage ceiling. I realize accidents can happen, but Red Carpet Moving has done nothing to fix the hole. I have called at least 10 times over the last 3 and a half months but nothing has been resolved. They have said multiple times they would call me back the next day/next week to resolve the issue but have not kept to their word and here we are almost 4 months later with no resolve.

These people moved my sister n law and they just wasnt professional at all how they put her stuff in her new apt. Instead of stacking it around the walls they just started sitting it in the middle of the floor and stacking all her stuff on top of each other. They just build a mountain . It was horrible. Ive never seen anything like that before. She is sickly and I had to go her unstack everything. You couldnt even get in the door Stuff was falling down and I couldnt even get in her room it was so bad. They should have done better than that. Just horrible. Just saying

Did an okay job with moving us, but would not provide a receipt when asked. Ignored my calls and texts and never heard from them when we told them we needed a receipt for our employer and they said at the time it would be “no problem”. Very unprofessional.

They moved my sisters (S.O) things from Longview TX to San Antonio Texas and everything moved were destroyed. Her newly furniture for over 5 grand from living room furniture to bedroom furniture etc destroyed. They dragged the issue for two years or more and latered offered her 400$ for damages which my sister didnt accept. They need to take total responsibility for their actions. JUSTICE MUST AND WILL BE SERVED

**Would not recommend! Unresponsive and unprofessional owners. Wife is RUDE!! Not how a former US Marine should conduct business.**We used the Dorsey’s company on a move from the DFW area to the East Texas area. After speaking with Elijah the owner, setting a moving date, and going over in detail everything we needed to move, they showed up with a truck too small. A U-Haul had to be rented to complete the job, taking much longer than planned and throwing us back a day on moving into our new home. Our furniture, mattresses, and large artwork pieces were not wrapped as clearly agreed upon. Mattresses were filthy from the truck, furniture was damaged as well as artwork, glass top to an antique cabinet was shattered. We contacted Mr. Dorsey about the damaged items and were told he would cut us a check just send him the receipts, he would take care of ordering the glass to be cut. After sending said receipts and being told the glass was ordered, he quit responding altogether to texts and calls. We called the other number listed on his website, his wife answers. Explained to her that we had been trying for a month to get a response on our damaged items. Come to find out, glass was never ordered and no check sent for other damages. She, like her husband, assured she would call back with answers. I had to continue calling and texting her for weeks. Each time she had a different excuse along with a rude demeanor. Elijah still would not respond at all! Two months after our move, having to replace the glass and frames myself, and after threatening legal action upon them, we received a check. They still have not addressed the sleep number bed they damaged. I would not recommend this moving company to anyone. This is not how business should be conducted. People should not have to wait months to receive compensation for items that you damaged. We are a third generation Marine family, and that a fellow Marine would conduct himself this way is disheartening to say the least. Find another moving company!

I rated this company earlier and the business responded. Everything they said is a lie. I can not believe this place is still in business. We had talked about the time being around 4. There were no phone calls, only texts, confirming 5 pm. Then when the guys were 30 mins late, I called them and they finally got the guys over there. When confronted about the change in cost due to the vast amount of unprofessionalism, they wouldn’t answer the phone. This place is terrible.

Absolutely outstanding service. First communication was with Elijah and he was professional and helpful. We so appreciated the email confirmations and format of the info. Samuel and Jacob were the movers who worked with us and they were so polite and kind to my elderly mother. We so appreciated their help and patience. I called red carpet after another moving company failed to show up the day of my move. Red Carpet moving quickly loaded up and came to move everything in my house with in hours. Without them I would have been in a real bad spot. A crew of 4 guys showed up and made quick work of the job. Prices were extremely reasonable and the crew worked extremely hard and fast. All of the guys were very polite and made sure all of my stuff was delivered exactly where I wanted it. They even stayed to help me assemble the large pieces of furniture. I hired Red Carpet Moving Company to help me with my relocation and I should say that was the best choice Ive ever made. I was genuinely thrilled with how long the entire move took and what I ended up paying for all the service I got. Everything was done so fast. Red Carpet Movers did an outstanding job for us. They packed and loaded our entire 4000 sq/ft home without a single incident. The crew was very professional and took extra time to make sure everything was protected properly. Elijah and his crew are excellent. We used them twice in the course of one month in Dallas. They helped us move out of our three-story townhouse to storage, then a couple weeks later into our new house. They are quick and extremely careful with all of our belongings. Because he didn’t have a truck going my way for moving he was going to change an Extra $2,500 dollars to move me. $2,000 for the move until he found out he was going to be going towards Kansas City that week and not Virginia. So that added $2,500 to the bill just because of that. Poor business ship. Could not even talk to me in a professional manner. Kept using slang and talking to me like we were in the street trying to hustle.

Red Carpet Moving was absolutely wonderful! The 3 gentleman who moved my home into storage worked diligently and respectfully of my belongings. They were very personable and a pleasure to spend the morning with. I was shocked how quickly they got everything done, thus making the cost reasonable for me. I will definitely use them again.

The owner is unprofessional my items went all way around the world and back and the. Had the nerves to charge me 310 for a job that only took 30 mins on top of not being on top getting nasty message telling me that was going discard my things after that day when I had the money to give the movers that day they communications they owner dosent communicate effectively with the workers workers showed up not knowing what was going on just pure waste of times and these reviews that are giving the company a five star rating is an absolute lie they Barely get a one from me my items was picked up on Friday after calling Elijah and getting the run around and one of the workers lied saying I wasn’t gone to pay them but advised me my things would of came back Saturday morning which they didn’t I finallgot my things on Sunday evening and half of it was missing poor company someone need to shut them down then when I paid it they couldn’t even give me a cash receipt where they do that at so that mean that no one is doing the accounting they just split the money Howe’s never again will I use them

Samuel and his crew showed up early and started right on time. They were very efficient and moved me across DFW in less than 2.5 hrs, and it wasnt the easiest move. Nothing was damaged and I felt they were very careful and respectful. I am very pleased with the experience and would recommend them to anyone.

I had these guys do my most recent move and will definitely be using them again. I have a bad back and one functioning lung and need help moving these guys came and took care of everything. They treated my stuff with care and the rate was fairly priced. Out of all the companies that I looked into using these people were fairly priced and provided not only the man power but also wrapping, and the moving truck to boot. 10 / 10

I called this company around 3 pm on a Saturday after my original movers did not show up. The owner said I will be there as quick as I can and followed through with that promise. His crew of guys were very fast, friendly and professional even when they were having to work late on a Saturday night. Could not ask for better service. Would highly recommend this company. Price was great too!

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!!!! They stole my 7 year old little boys money that he had saved for many months. It was in a hand made wallet given to him by his brother and obviously a childs wallet. WHO STEALS MONEY FROM A 7 YEAR OLD??? It was over $150.00. He CRIED for HOURS as he worked so hard to save this money. Owner assured us that he was certain as to which employee stole the money, and that he would return it. FIRST, if you are aware that one of your employees steals, WHY LET HIM IN MY HOME???????? We trusted this company to move our things with honesty and professionalism. INSTEAD, he sends an employee with an obvious stealing problem to MY HOME without even a small warning of this possibility. DO NOT USE THIS GROUP!! He knowingly hired someone that STEALS. But the worst part..... HE STOLE FROM A CHILD!! Totally unacceptable!! SHAME on this man for allowing this person in MY HOME and in contact with my children. TO DATE, nothing has been done with regards to the things which were stolen from our home. The employee went through OUR personal items that were placed in our master bedroom closet after being specifically told to NOT ENTER our closet as we would PERSONALLY move those things in the closet. Numerous things were stolen and Im extremely concerned that as we continue to unpack, we will find many other missing items. We paid them cash in FULL and ADDED A TIP (all the while not realizing that they had STOLEN so many things during the move). TERRIBLE COMPANY and TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I received red carpet service from Red Carpet Moving Company. They were professional, timely, and careful. They blanketed and shrink wrapped all of my furniture. When they unloaded things, they put then in the rooms labeled on the boxes. This was the best move I have every had. It was so smooth and organized. I highly recommend this company for any of your moving needs.

Red Carpet Moving was prompt, professional and very friendly. Our belongings were in temporarily storage. The team unloaded three storage buildings and made two trips backs to town in less than 9 hours. The guys worked hard and handled everything very carefully. Nothing was broken or damaged. They really know how to pack. We had three trucks deliver our belongings and they were able to move us in two truck loads!! If you have a moving need...give this team a call. These guys are the best around. Elijah and three of his guys had us moved into our house in under two hours; it took movers in Midland almost eight hours to do the same job. Every single person on his team was friendly, and treated all of my belongings like they were their own. I can’t recommend these guys highly enough, and would use them again in a heartbeat.

I have used Red Carpet Moving for every move I’ve made over the past 2 or 3 years and they are always great! I’ve compared price and they always have the best rate. Out of 5 moves I’ve only had items broken once. A box just fell but it wasn’t anything valuable and they gave me a discount to make up for it. They are a professional company so scheduling is easy, they confirm your move the day before and the employees are always very nice. They always use a nice truck and trailer. They are great! Use them if you can!

Red Carpet showed up on time with a huge trailer. Introduced themselves and GOT TO WORK. Disassembled what was only absolutely necessary. Didn’t touch things they didn’t want to be liable for damaging and done it FAST. Emptied our 3 bedroom two story townhouse in one hour. **They drove to my new home immediately after without waiting on me or “lolly gagging” around to run up the clock $.** They beat me to my new home unloaded us in one hour. Congratulated me and my wife on the move and left. I would’ve paid double what they charged. (Because that’s what every other company has charged us in the passed).You won’t beat red carpet.

The crew were very professional on making sure all pieces of furniture as wrapped properly for moving and storing. My 6 year old daughter fell in love with the guys they were so very nice to her and played up her new bossiness when it came to her room. Quick fast and easy and most important not one thing was messed up or treated wrong we will use this company every time we move ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I never write reviews but I had to leave Red Carpet moving a five star review. My husband and Is apartment flooded and we had to move last minute. Frank and Mike were our movers and they were such hard workers and SO nice. We have a toddler so we had a ton of furniture to move, including a crib and changing table. Frank and Mike did a wonderful job wrapping everything and making sure nothing got damaged during the move. Ive gone with cheaper moving companies before but never again. Frank and Mike were extremely professional and again, incredibly nice. So thankful for all of their help.

I cant say enough about my moving staff. I requested a 2 man crew and both men where awesome. They were very accommodating and helpful with helping me figure out were things go. I will definitely recommend again.

Today has been one of the best days of the week for me. All week has been stressful trying to get packed, going to closing on my new house transferring electricity and everything else over to my new place. I was not able to finish up packing for my movers to come. Elijah and his team came in with positive attitudes and said no problem we will help you pack and clear the house out by the end of the day. That is exactly what they did with no complaints. I am so grateful for Red Carpet Moving at a time like this.

My family and I have moved many of times over the years and we have used many of movers through the military and company paid moves. This company is by far the best we have seen in all our years, from there professionalism on the phone to the time they first showed up to move us. We were very pleased at the level of service we were provided and the cost was reasonable.

I called these guys today around 415 to haul off a couch for me and by 430 they were at my door ready to load it! Guys we’re friendly and professional and were done and out in a few minutes. Highly recommend!

Hired this company to move our four bedroom, two bath house. They were courteous, professional, on time, were available with only a few days notice and never complained for one second - even though it rained part of the day and they did have to use stairs. I would definitely use them again.

These guys are awesome! They made moving fun. They wrapped everything in plastic and/or blankets to protect items and were cautious while loading and unloading.

Awesome! outstanding! fast! professional! awesome rates! quoted 5pm showed up early with my approval! did i say fast, thats an understatement! 2br 1 ba duplex with all appliances wrapped & on the truck in less than an hour & half! family owned by a great military (marines) veteran, so no funny business! straight to business, no wasting time or dilly dallying like my dad a 30yr military veteran would say!

Moved us extremely quickly and were very timely. Will use again for our next move. Highly recommend.

They never showed up

By far, the BEST moving experience!!!! The crews took exceptional care of every detail--- from disassembly, explaining charges/rates, wrapping, packing, loading, care, and speed.They made a very emotional and stressful experience so much more manageable!!! I cant even imagine this move without them!!! I checked several others. Red Carpet Movers was not the cheapest, BUT, I just had a feeling. And I was SO RIGHT!!!!!#callthem

Elijah & his Red Carpet Moving team delivered just that...red carpet service! My recent move from East Texas to California was one of the least stressful moves ever (I’ve moved 25 times!)...and all during the week of Christmas! Other interstate van companies would load household, unload to storage, wait for the their van to fill up with 2-3 households, then deliver on an unknown date; in contrast, Elijah’s team wrapped all furniture, carefully loaded my 1800 sq ft townhouse into one large truck with my Lexus in tow & delivered as promised 2 days later! The guys from Red Carpet Moving were polite, friendly, and worked swiftly. Elijah organized a team of unloaders from Professional Sacramento Movers to assist his driver on the receiving end who lived up to their name as well. I was so pleased that everything arrived in great condition and on time. I’ve been busy unpacking over the holiday instead of waiting for the competition’s van to arrive. Absolute red carpet treatment. From the initial phone call to the initial greeting to the last piece off the moving truck these men were on point. They new every aspect of there job no one was confused or even standing around. I had my worries about hiring an hourly rate mover, but they worked so quickly that I had forgotten it was by the hour. They came in and got the job done quickly and efficiently.

Setup a move 1 week in advance. The day of the move Red Carpet Moving didnt even show up! Called them and they said that they forgot to put it in the books...?! Save yourself the trouble and find another mover :(

After a long weekend of dealing with our previously hired movers that didnt show up we decided it was time to call a different company. We new this time we had to do more research before hiring another mover. We came across Red Carpet Moving Company. We had never heard of them, but there reviews were excellent. They had great reviews on there website and on google. So we decided we would give them a call. After the first conversation with the owner we were convinced this was our company. They covered all of our furniture with there moving pads, and even covered the floors with red carpets, that was a fantastic touch. QqI can honestly say that they lived up to there word and did a fantastic job. I personally would like to mimic the previous reviews and say that they were outstanding. Thanks Elijah for such a great experience.

Warning!!! They will steal your property! Do not use this company. They stole several items in my move including cash, an iPad and prescriptions. Very unprofessional and unreliable. I tried to get the owner to correct the problem but he didn’t do anything even after acknowledging they did steal from me during our move.

I simply cannot put into words how fantastic my experience has been with the guys during every move. They have continually impressed me time and time again. I have one more move next summer and I will be giving the boys in red a call.
