Please just figure out how to make your lines go faster at the pharmacy. They dont move. Why? It has been like this forever to where I feel like I have to go somewhere else now because I just cant spend an hour waiting in line. What is going on?
I NEVER leave reviews, but this is NECESSARY. I DO NOT recommend this pharmacy! I witnessed one of their staff (red hair) be extremely RUDE to an elderly lady that was needing assistance. They act as if they can’t use Good RX coupons for people that do not have insurance (due to insurance not kicking in at new job just yet)they claim to enter the info into the computer and THEY DO NOT. I hate to speak on the entire staff because there is one generous lady when I go, but today I left my prescription and had them transferred to Walmart! The line is normally extremely long and moves extremely slow. I won’t be back!
I finally took the advice of a Walgreens pharmacy employee who told me ‘I wouldn’t get my prescriptions here’.For the first time, my prescriptions are zero dollars after switching to Walmart pharmacy.Most importantly, No more chronic mix ups and confusion by Walgreens staff.I no longer have to deal with hang ups when I call the pharmacy after waiting 30-40 mins on hold.Too often I’ve been told a prescription will be ready only to find they don’t have it on file!Often, call center that has completely different information on file that the Walgreens pharmacy itself.It’s such a relief to not have to deal with the monthly hassle and expense of Walgreens! Farewell!
Sit in drive thru for 30 minutes due to cones blocking the drive thru. Found out that it was closed from a customer driving by. Need better sign or someone letting people know that you are closed
I was in hold for pharmacy for 55 minutes. Battery ran out on my phone. Prescription said filled/ in process for several hours so i drove there. Drive thru closed at 11am. Sign said go inside, son i did. Waited in line 30 minutes to be told to check back late afternoon. Wouldn’t let me wait
Website and door said they open at 7. I showed up at 7:10 but the doors were locked. Waited until 7:40 and they never opened up despite saying they open at 7.
You could run out of gas, die, and turn into a skeleton before it’s your turn in the drive through pharmacy line. 😬
I never leave reviews but this Walgreens is TERRIBLE. The staff was very rude, and would not even speak to me, they just pointed to a sign and walked off.
This place has no consistency in service whatsoever they do not provide the things that they say they provide and they do not have any regard for peoples time

If you want to be scammed and humiliated, come to the Walgreens on 4th street!Here is my experience:I came to that Walgreens to make a passport photo. I was wearing a white shirt and Ive been told that I must find a black shirt to take a picture. Okay, I immediately bought a black shirt in the same Walgreens, and only after I payed for it they told me that I still cant do the photo because there is a print on the shirt. So I wore the same shirt inside out and they said that I cant do the photo because THERE IS A PRINT SOMEWHERE INSIDE THE SHIRT (Im not making this up)! Then, that person offered me to buy another shirt that she owned (!!!) so I can finally have my picture. I refused and turned to the exit door when another Walgreens worker approached me and accused me of trying to steal that shirt I just bought! I had to show them a receipt to make them leave me alone.
I have been a customer of this pharmacy for over 10 years. Every now & then, I must visit another pharmacy out of Longview & I appreciate this pharmacy even more. They are so much busier than they were 10+ years ago. I have heard so many customers lose patience with them & still, they are kind & try to help me as much as they can. They have helped me coordinate with multiple Drs offices over the years who were not always helpful. Plus, when other pharmacies were rude about my son taking a pain med after surgery (WITH a prescription) & another pharmacy violated my daughters privacy, they were very professional. Thank you Fourth St Walgreens!!!
Almost an hour waiting on hold and hung up on twice before actually talking to someone.
I rarely give reviews but it’s necessary for this pharmacy. I could only give one star because that’s as low as the reviews go. I WOULD NOT recommend this place to anyone. Sometimes ins companies require you to use certain places and this one is the worst. Slow, slow and did I mention SLOW!

Horrible customer service in pharmacy! I’ve had two bad experiences in three days. I know they are busy, but that’s no excuse. The drive thru is slow, and you have to repeat everything three times! The man in the lane next to me actually fell asleep in his truck waiting.And calling is even worse! I waited 10-15 minutes just to get someone on phone, and then they couldn’t wait 30 seconds for me to get my insurance number. Plus, they haven’t had my prescription for three days and said they don’t know WHEN it will be in.Thanks for nothing.I’m taking my business elsewhere!
Can never find your medicine when you get there. They are always backed up and behind because they are unorganized. This isn’t on one occasion either it happens almost every time. If your busy your busy. But i see repeatedly they are running around like crazy and can’t ever find people’s prescriptions.
Walgreens at the Loop 281 and Gilmer RD in Longview Tx had closed their pharmacy yesterday and didnt tell the customers. The pharmacy failed to let the doctors know so that the patients can be notified to choose another location to pick up the new medication that they need.
Always have to wait long times in the drive thru line. Orders get mixed up. Many times I have driven 30 miles one way only to be told there was a problem (such as they dont have the medicine in stock). No notification of THAT.Wish I could go elsewhere but my insurance says I must pick pharmacy for a year!

I’m not racist but the black female pharmacist here is. She is also rude & will make you feel like your in the wrong for getting a controlled substance from your doctor.

Wow, first few times here were pretty good, but today.. whoever answered the phone on 4th St. today needs to go home and rethink her position.. maybe not in customer service. Don’t be so rude lady, life is short. I pray you have a better day.

Definitely 5 stars. Great service by both floor and pharmacy personnel. Always has my prescriptions ready. Very little wait times. I am basing my review on 15 years of using this store (I think it was built 15 years ago). Started going here when it was opened. All stores are shorthanded from time to time and workers, just like the rest of the public, have bad days. I will never post a review based on one experience. They have great sales on items and happy to give rainchecks when they run out. Thank you to the managers and personnel for keeping me coming back year after year. :D
The absolute rudest manger in the photo dept. He made unkindly remarks while I was standing there waiting for an order that I recd a text stating my order was ready at 2:03 .This was at 3:00 and the order was still not ready! The nerve of a manger offering to give the order to me for free is an insult! I have never been so embarrassed as a customer. Jimmy was not setting a good example to Irsalea the employee standing beside him. This will be the very last time that I step foot back in the store!
I went in to buy my daughter some supplements. They had signs up that said buy one supplement and get one 50% mix and match. It’s a scam. They would not price match or give me the the discount. The manager came up to me with her hand on her hip and yelled at me in front of other customers! I will buy all of my supplements from drug emporium or amazon from now on! Amazon has everything almost 50% off anyways. I refuse to be treated this way by any business. I never do reviews unless it’s positive, but this was uncalled for behavior.
Called to inquire about a vaccine. Told me to call the Walgreens on marshall. Called the Walgreens on marshall and they told me this Walgreens is actually the one I need, and that this Walgreens incorrectly sends people to the Walgreens on marshall all the time for the same thing. Tried to call back and just kept getting asked to hold repeatedly for 20 minutes so gave up and went somewhere else. Waste of your time trying to go here.
Thanks for calling me at the end of the day to tell me you didnt have my medication after Ive waited all afternoon. Sure couldve used that info when the dr. Called it in @noon. You can count on losing my business.
Very disappointed with this photo department! Twice they have not been able to process my order and didn’t tell me until I went to the store to pick pictures up. The first time I waited three weeks for a canvas print because the truck “never had their supplies” on it. After Calling over and over for 3 weeks I finally received my canvases.This time they ran out of ink and didn’t call or email or anything. They just told us to go to another store. I called the store on 80 and spoke with the manager and she said to have this Walgreens just send them the pictures and she would get them printed.When I called this store back they “assured me they couldn’t send any orders to another store.”Really disappointed and upset with This Walgreens.
Tammy in the pharmacy was very quick and efficient at helping the pharmacist, answering the phone, and getting the customers taken care of as quickly as possible. She had my prescription waiting for me when I got to the front of the line after dropping it off earlier, this was my first time at this location.
Jimmy, the supervisor, needs more training in customer service skills. He is rude, unprofessional & should not be in a leadership role. Tonight my family & I had THE WORST customer service experience. I have lived in Longview for over 10 years. I have had plenty of decent visits to this Walgreens, but tonight was the worst.I see why their hours have been cut back & the parking lot ONLY had a couple cars. There is a proper way to greet & speak to customers. Jimmy needs more training!
The pharmacy tech whom answers the phone is rude then she transfers me to another rude girl. The pharmacist was actually pretty friendly but as for the help not so much .
Good first time visit. I was in and out in a matter of minutes. I found what I needed (Recapit, a dental repair material), and they had a total of three options for reattaching a loose crown/cap (Recapit, by the way, worked pretty well). I had a smooth checkout experience (they didn’t have a small bag though for the items I bought). Parking is not a problem at all. This one is right next to Panera. Convenient location as it’s in the corner of Fourth St. and 281 Loop, which makes it easy to enter/exit from either road.
I have yet to be able to pick up a prescription at the time they said it would be ready. Most recently it was more than hour after they said it would be ready that I was able to pick it up. Save yourself some grief, pick another pharmacy.

Literally the slowest pharmacy in town. Always a long wait. Not only that but half the time you cant get the entire order at one location. Staff is not very friendly either. When you personally see the Doctor fax over the prescription 20 min before your visit to drive thru and then witness them take it from the printer and say they are working on it....makes you wonder. Oh and this time happened to be for eyedrops and antibiotic for my sick 8 month old. I dont think those two items require an additional 15-20minutes of waiting time. When I drove back around to wait in the outside lane I was told to move my vehicle so they could attend the next customers. They then were in line for 10 minutes behind me as I sit with a screaming baby in the parking lot. Im fed up and based on other reviews others are as well. Its a waste of time and money doing business here and I wont any longer after today.

Most of the employees I have dealt with in the pharmacy lack in customer service. The pharmacy claims they dont get the RX MD faxes over, all the time. Which then the doctors have to refax and it leaves me without medications for days. The people in the pharmacy show no compassion for this error.
Call before you go to pick up your meds to make sure they have them - yes, even if theyve told you they do. Because when they dont, (even though theyve said they do) they wont contact you to let you know they dont.
Extremely displeased.We sat in line at the Gilmer road location to get multiple scripts filled for my wife and I, we have the flu. Waited for 20 minutes in line only to be told that they had run out of one of the meds. She told us to call 4th street location because she knew they still had plenty. So we called while still in line at Gilmer rd around 9:20pm and made sure they had exactly what we needed in stock. They said they did. We said great we are on our way. We got to 4th street at 9:35pm and sat in line, got to the window at 9:40pm and sat while the lady helped the other lane. She finally got to us at 9:55pm. She could not find my name on file even though Gilmer rd had it pulled up. She was able to pull up my wifes file and the script was the same for us both so we were ok with at least getting hers. She said at 9:58pm, we close at 10 and so we dont have time to fill this for you tonight, but you could try our Hwy 80 location since they are open 24hr.Needless to say Walgreens has lost a regular customer even though I know they wont miss us one bit.
Every time I use this pharmacy I come away disgusted. Long wait times, my information is incorrect it has to be updated over and over again. The same information! Waiting on customers out of order, very poor customer service. I am done!!
Easy most of the time to run in get something and get out fast but the pharmacy is so rude, slow and price is high.
Absolutely terrible! Photo department has terrible service, the manager has a terrible attitude! They do not know how to treat their customers! And the wait time in the pharmacy is the longest in Longview!
