Hillcrest store is my go-to mini-mart. The staff is always friendly and helpful the shelves are well stocked and I like that its within walking distance of my house on Columbia heights.

Truly an anchor in our community. Family owned and operated with fast and friendly service where the employees actually learn your name. Everyone in our family calls it Ricks after the owner. Which is kind of ironic cause There is a corner store and gas station named Hillcrest where I grew up. As kids wed spend hours there. I still dont know who owns it.

The store has great n healthy -made-on-the-spot sandwiches with homemade bread! Good N tasty burgers made to your liking! =delicious!Call & order ahead. Nice cashiers, yummy salads, ice cream cones, milk shakes with a large selection of beverages to choose from & eat on-your-way-home-treats when u r starving. Lotto, freezer goods, meat, single ice creams, ice, wood, fruit, snacks, beer, wine, groceries, milk, juice plus more & common general household items in case you forgot to pick something up in town. Love the store!
