Had a flat fixed this morning passing through on a trip. Best customer service! Hands down I would recommend this business.

First visit: I brought a tire for patch work. They repaired the tire and put it back on the vehicle for free. Very thankful of there generosity. I will definitely be back.

You have always been very accommodating to my schedule weather it is for new tires, oil change or a nail in a tire. I appreciate you and your staff.

I called up there to ask for a four wheel alignment and they were a week out. Reasonable prices but man the front desk lady was rude! Won’t be going here.

Took a trailer tire in with a slow leak and needing nitrogen to pressurize the tire. Within 15 minutes they had repaired my tire and filled it back up with nitrogen. When I asked how much I owed, I was told it was NO CHARGE. Really!! Who does that anymore?? GREAT way to build a business from the old days. They have my business going forward. Thanks Tidwell Tires.

I know that these places get busy at times but I feel that I was deliberately made to wait longer than necessary. I was watching how many customers were there when I got there and how many customers came in after me. When it seems that you are waiting longer than normal, they should at least offer you an explanation. Instead they just left me hanging.

Went by to get a tire mounted and balanced, usually when I go by a shop for this I end up dropping it off and coming back by later on to pick it up, they had it done in about fifteen minutes.I know it was just a minor job, but I was very impressed with how quick they were, and Ill definitely be going back next time I need tires replaced.

The receptionist is not friendly. I have been here on multiple occasions and she has never greeted me she just looks at you. The service is great but she should be more friendly being that she is the first person of contact. It does not hurt to greet your customers when they arrive. Hello how are you or a simple hello works.

Friendly and helpful staff! They spent a couple of hours working with me to get the wheels and tires just right for my truck. Very thorough and knowledgeable. Highly recommended!

Tidewell Tire Center, is the GOAT in the #903 !!

Traveling from Mexico our Chevy Aveo developed a noise that I assumed was a bad tire. I found Tidwell Tire online. Their service was impeccable. Within minutes their technician, Fred, diagnosed the problem to be a wheel bearing. The repair was done quickly and we were on our way much earlier than I imagined.Tidwell Tire is a first rate, trustworthy business. Totally worthy of a five star rating.

Do not use this company. The manager was rude to me, made fun of me for no reason and even joked openly about violence such as running over bicycle riders in his vehicle. They charged me a huge amount of money for tires that should have cost 40% less. The shop workers were incredibly rude and behaved in an almost threatening manner. The shop workers also apparently went through my belongings since one of them asked me about an item I had hidden away in a part of the vehicle that they shouldnt have even gone near. My vehicle was possibly ruined by this shop, as it drove completely differently and suddenly had a whole slew of problems that were not present when I took the vehicle in. I dont know what they did but my vehicle never recovered. Hard to believe that just putting on 4 tires could mess up a vehicle? I THOUGHT SO TOO UNTIL IT HAPPENED. Bad employees, bad business, all around BAD experience. Choose a different tire shop is my advice.

Poor communication and lack of effort to help with car problems

On 8-27-19 I made an appointment for a front end alignment for 8-31-19. Tidwell tire opens at 7:30am I pull up at 7:34am after an 1 1/2 drive to get there. I walk in and the guy behind the counter got an attitude with me for being late. He pointed at his watch and said he doesn’t have time with people that are late. Was told to go to Billings Tire in Tyler Tx that maybe they would have time for me. I will not be back to Tidwell. I never got mad or upset but he was upset with me.

I made an appointment with this place for an alignment. It took them forever to get to my car because they were too busy with walk-ins. I always thought that appointments were put first but whatever. Anyway, Tristan said that he would cut me deal since I had to wait so long. Well, later on I noticed that when I would turn my wheel to back out or pull in that it would make a popping noise, which it wasn’t doing before I had taken it to them for the alignment. I took it back to them and was told that the sway bar in link was making the noise. I paid them to repair that and when I picked it up it made the popping noise when I backed out of the parking spot. My check engine light had come on also so I asked them to look at that too while it was there for the popping noise. I was informed that they weren’t able to pull any codes on it nor were there any code history. I took my car across the street to ABC Auto and they pulled the code and wrote it down on the sticky note for me. Once I got back to work, I called back and told them that my car was still making the popping noise when I turn the steering wheel and was told that the alignment guy was gone to lunch and that they would have him call me once he got back. I didn’t even bother telling them about the check engine code. I waited all day. No one called me back or anything. So when I got off from work, I called them back and the alignment guy answered and told me that he drove the car and didn’t hear anything. He told me that I could bring my car back in the morning. I didn’t feel like wasting anymore time or money with these people, so I took my car somewhere else to be told that the sway bar in link needs to be replaced. So what did these people at Tidwell do besides take my money and not perform a service? Don’t take your car to these people unless you have money to waste.

I went to get my tire patched. They were awesome and friendly from the moment I walked in. When they were done with my car, I went to pay and they just said, No charge maam, have a great day I will definitely use them again in the future!

I have known the owner, Tript Tidwell all my life and his father, Frank, before he passed. He is a great man and has even hired me for a summer while I was in high school. The service and turnaround time is unparalleled. Even after I moved away from the East Texas Are, we was always able to give me advice on my option and take time out of his day to help me. The prices are low, and they are one of the few remaining shops that will come out and see exactly what the problem is, and have it towed to the shop, or if it is something simple or replacement of a wheel or tire, they will perform the service there, no need o pay to have it towed in. Very ethical and trustworthy business. No tire too big or too small. During my tenure I changed many tractor tires and even a few golf carts. This is one of the last family business owners and company that truly value the custom and care, rather then the almighty penny.
