Its my first time here & while I found some of the prices to be fair there really wasnt much of a selection. The cashier didnt seem to speak any English when I tried to communicate with her which is sad IMO.😕😟I brought in a coupon for this specific store for a free loaf of Sara Lee Bread & after grabbing other items I had to get the wheat instead of white cos there wasnt any place even for the white to be stocked.I asked nicely if thats ok since they dont have what they advertized on hand.The cashier spoke to another cashier asking her I think & then a Manager too I think.... but all 3 of them spoke only in Spanish in front off me so Im not sure what was said...?All I do know is it felt very RUDE of them if they do know how to speak English to speak only Spanish in front of me so i couldnt understand whats being said about my simple request.Afterwords I also had to ask the cashier nicely if she could please get the items from the bottom of a basket (that wasnt mine) & help me to place all my items (about 12) in a bag please?I explained that I have a very bad back & cant bend to retrieve them where she placed my groceries unbagged & i asked please one more time.She pointed to where the bags were & I got one. She started with the next person in line as if she never heard a single word of me asking for help.Again it felt very RUDE of her to ignore me all together even if she doesnt know any English...she knew I was nicely asking for a bit of help at the least. It was painful for me but i retrieved all my items alone.Id bet money that they all know a lot more English than they let on which is even more RUDE to not speak it in front of someone whos clearly English speaking only.If youre going to live in our country at least learn our language!!!!!! Love this place. The prices are well below King Soopers and Safeway. Examples: Limes 8/$1, frozen chicken quarters in 10lb flat pack for $7.49.It is not a fancy place but has a good selection of foods commonly purchased by Mexican people. There is even a bakery. Virtually everyone in the store is speaking Spanish but English is no problem at all.The dont have bags, bring your own.By far my favorite grocery store in Boulder County

Good variety of Mexican products, unhappy with the change on the already prepared masa it was dry and nothing like it has been in the previous years. Not a big fan of the prices, other grocery stores are cheaper. No plastic or paper bags without having to pay for them.

Amazing deals/prices on all kinds of foods. A ton of options for hard to find Mexican brands of food, drink, snacks, and more. Also amazingly delicious fresh made tamales are worth grabbing even if you decide not to shop here!

You can find some good staff there but the young and kind people is gone, so now we have two old, grompy and bad manners women like cashiers I need to talk with the store Manager .

Nothing particularly wrong. The place was clean on inside and outside. The only reason I give it a 3 is because the prices are average and there is not a very good selection of products. It is more or less a place that I might go if I just need something very basic. The produce that they do have is actually very nice though and is average priced too.

I recommend Save A Lot as they have wonderful prices, friendly and helpful employees and great authentic products along with national brands. The hot food was delicious and extremely friendly staff. The prices and portions cant be beat. They also have a wonderful in house bakery that puts out sone very fine tasty items. I will definitely return to this business.

You really do save a lot. I went with the intention of making a lasagna for dinner and they had everything I needed. Also has a good frozen food section. Really nice staff as well.

This Save-A-Lot seems to be mainly geared towards the Mexican community and I think its wonderful. The salsas in their deli area are definitely authentic and about a 4 out of 5 on the spicy scale. Lots of Mexican candy and Jarritos sodas. Much smaller than your typical grocery store and perhaps a little disorganized but they have a pretty authentic selection at great prices. Flats of 60 eggs cost about 7 bucks! Cute little produce section with lots of different peppers and spices. Definitely recommend this place if youre looking for some real Mexican products.*Bring your own reusable shopping bags because you will be charged for bags if you require one of theirs.

Save-A-Lot is great! They have specialized this particular store to meet the tastes of our local Hispanic community, so if youre looking for these wonderful, poppin flavors and ingredients, this is the place to come! Great Mexican deli, too. Their produce is always very fresh, although sometimes can be limited because as a smaller market they must do their buying carefully. Prices in all areas are excellent. Nice bakery, too. Just remember, its a smaller market so supplies can reflect that. Meat department is quite small, but they do have basics and South-of- the-border specialties. I love shopping there, and as a tall, blond male I tend to stand out, but the folks there are ALWAYS friendly and helpful to me. Today, for instance, I asked for help finding guacamolé. The guy behind the bakery area, José, left his station and searched the entire store for alternatives because they were all out. He brought me a great mix, and his co-worker offered suggestions for how to best make it. I felt like a visiting dignitary! It was so cool. Definitely give them a try!

Okay, so aside from having a few items dirt cheap (pun intended), the place was a mess. I purchased some dishwasher detergent. However, I would not purchase food from there. Wow. Just wow.

Save-a-Lot is a great place to get great groceries for cheap. They have a wonderful selection of Mexican groceries too, like a great meat counter with the best cuts for cooking authentic Mexican food, different kinds of crema, many different kinds of cheese, sopes. The also have fruits and vegetables for low prices.They have the best prices in town on many items I buy regularly, so I shop there every week. They also have really cheap dog and cat food.They do ask you to supply your own bags, so remember to bring a couple big reusables.

Yikes. this place is kind of a disaster. sorry to call it out for being such a sloppy excuse for a store, but I just had to since I saw so much sadness in this place when I came in.first of all there was a man who Im assuming was homeless that was sleeping with his mouth wide open right there on the concrete in front of the storesecondly, there was then restrooms that were for sure the most disgusting excuses public bathrooms that Ive ever seen in my life... they actually looked like jail bathrooms now that I think about it, which is totally awesome no doubt.the third and last thing that I will mention here that made it so bad is the line being so long and slow moving that I ended up giving up trying to purchase any of the few things that I came here to get and just went home.THE ONE BRIGHT SIDE THOUGH... is that they had water bottles for like $0.30??? but I couldnt actually even buy any of them since the line was just too unbelievably long to wait in.the end.

Nothings organized. Cashiers seem to always be teens that dont even know what there doing. Couple times I have gone Ive never gotten a hi how are you or did you find everything ok the only thing that comes out of there mouth is my TOTAL. Not even a have a nice day. If your working cashier you have to be more friendly.

Sav-A-Lot reminds me a lot of Aldi if youve ever been to one. You know, a lot of knock-off brands and you bag your own groceries - I do that half the time at King Soopers anyway.BUT, if you like authentic Mexican ish products this is the place to go. Store-made salsas, baked goods (gotta have my pink cookies), Mexi-Coke and Topo Chico, and a huge array of odd body parts from, cows, pigs and chicken in the meat department.If you find any of this appealing, stop by. Bags are not free, so bring your own.

Ive shopped at lot of Save-a-lot stores and this one is by far the worst. This location is extremly unkept. Most of what they have is condements and the employees are not helpful.. seriously go check out this store and see how terrible it is. Ended up going to King scoopers and found everything; except corned beef hash, for the same price or cheaper.Dont seriously bother with this location.
